A group of 10 of them went for a meal today - service was terrible, despite it being relatively quiet - incredibly slow (they waited until after 2pm for their lunch, and they arrived at at 12.50pm!) The group meet up monthly and always eat on the High St - they'd hoped to go again in November, but today's experience has completely put them off. My disabled Mum was left standing at the counter for ten minutes trying to pay after they'd just had enough. They left feeling thoroughly fed up with the experience, and Mum said it was the poorest service she's ever encountered - and she's in her 80s!

The beef in black pepper sauce was absolutely delicious, so juicy and tender, lovely vegetables, tasted really fresh, we loved it! 😋 My in-laws had the Chinese curry beef and they loved it too, though they did say it was very spicy for them 🌶️😊 The vegetable spring rolls were super crispy and tasty too. We ordered 2 portions of salt & pepper chips and these were decent, nothing special and too much raw onion for my liking so a lot of the onion ended up in the bin, but they were nice enough and we ate all the chips, I would just get the normal chips next time or try a noodle dish but that's personal preference, my partner really enjoyed them. 😋 Will definitely be ordering from here again, fantastic value, fed 4 of us for under £20. The staff were a delight and the owner ran everything on point. There was a constant turnaround which they handled excellently. I really enjoyed the food and it was fantastic value. The big breakfast burger was certainly as described! All pretty standard ingredients but it's cooked really nicely.
