I don’t usually write reviews, but let me tell you…this place is GOOD. Like GOOD GOOD. The parmesan garlic clams were some of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The stuffed flounder and creamy shrimp dip were also amazing. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious seafood meal!

We had a wonderful experience at Blackbeard's! Our server Lori was absolutely fantastic - personable, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Had a horrible meal here. First the soup arrived cold. They offered to replace it and the replacement showed up cold too. What a wonderful time we had there. There were 7 of us and our server was wonderful.She was very friendly and attentive and did not call us "guys" once! The food was terrific, really loved the onion rings and calamari. Beautiful restaurant and great location. The only complaint I have is about my order which was the seafood bisque. The base of it was amazing but tiny shrimp was used instead of local shrimp. To me, the tiny shrimp do not taste like the real thing and I actually left them in the bowl.

Disappointing lunch at Clawson’s 1905. Service was great, very friendly. Food was a letdown. Pimento BLT was average to start with, but the thick, unripe and hard tomato was inedible. We told the manager and he said he “could bring out different tomatoes, but you’re basically done with the sandwich“ What? I had to pull out the tomato, which is a key component of a BLT, and since there was only one slice of bacon on it, basically ate half of a mushy pimento cheese sandwich. No, you offer a new sandwich or remove it from the bill. Neither was done. Ridiculous. The fish and chips were OK, but the oily fish was resting on top of the chips so they were all oily. Better places to eat in the area.

We went on a girls birthday trip and ended up running across this restaurant. The folks who work here were really sweet the whole time. Having a view on the water outside was really nice. The food was so good. The hot crab dip was amazing and my shrimp burrito was perfect. And the homemade chips that came with my plate were really good also. My husband and I enjoyed our meals. He got a chicken wrap with chips and salsa. He said it was pretty good and was basically a burrito with rice. I got a seafood plate with fried flounder with fries and slaw as my sides. It also came with tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. I usually get white fresh with little to no fish taste so this one wasn't too bad. It still had a bit of fishy taste but not overpowering. The service was good and our waitress was nice. The view of the boats going in and out was the best part.

3 Stars – Beautiful Setting, but Food Missed the Mark
Finz Grill has a fantastic view of the inlet, with lots of boating activity and a dock just off the back. The seating area was clean, comfortable, and the service was friendly and adequate. I definitely recommend sitting outside if the weather allows — it’s a great place to relax and watch the boats go by.
I started with the crab dip, which was good but not particularly memorable. It was served with a lightly toasted roll sliced into small pieces — enjoyable enough while taking in the view.
Unfortunately, the main course was disappointing. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and while the shrimp were nicely cooked, the dish overall felt incomplete. It had a strange mix of undercooked vegetables and odd seasoning combinations that just didn’t come together. I didn’t even finish the plate, which is rare for me, especially with one of my usual favorite dishes.
Prices were reasonable for the location, but overall, the food experience didn’t live up to the beautiful setting.

I ordered the Crab dip and the shrimp burger. The crab dip was delicious, would definitely order again. My shrimp sandwich was fried shrimp on a plain bun which seemed strange or incomplete but they give you a little coleslaw on the side and tarter sauce and cocktail sauce...so I assembled everything and got lettuce from my husbands plate and put together my own sandwich which everything tasted really good but thought it was odd to recieve just the fried shrimp on the bun. Fries were yummy and they have good ranch. We sat outside, weather was lovely. Our waitress Lauren was wonderful.

This was our very first meal in Beaufort and I couldn't have been more pleased. The firecracker shrimp were the perfect balance of sweet and hot. The onion rings were huge and flavored just right where you don't even need ketchup. My husband got the burger and he said it was delicious, oh and their fries are crispy and lightly seasoned I loved it. Our waitress was awesome too, she made funny jokes and our view on the water made everything perfect. Highly recommend this place! Lastly, the rum runner is 2 thumbs up!

Holy smokes the pizza is good. Oven must be 1200 degrees, their crust is so good, homemade dough unlike other places with their food service ho hum frozen dough balls. The Meat Lovers is pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage and hamburger. even with all that cargo, the slices were not soggy and each slice was crisp to the tip. My wife got the chicken gyro platter and my other son, the flounder sandwich.
Our server was extremely attentive and we split a limoncello cake (tasty). After a great day at the Cape Fear Lighthouse -- this was such a wonderful find. Come on out folks... pizza is fine!

We decided on subs for dinner, and were impressed how fresh and tasty they were. My son and I each had a veggie sub and my husband had the sub with everything on it. We all agreed the subs we great. What a great place for a date night or dinner with the family. Many options to choose from and for my husband and I, it was hard making a decision.
He had the philly cheesesteak w/ mac & cheese & also a side of brussel sprouts. I had a pita (that was literally the size of my face) w/ chicken added & a cucumber salad side & also a side of brussel sprouts. The food was fantastic! We had to bring most of it home with us due to the very large portions.

We visited last summer and were just recommending Black Sheep to our friends that are getting ready to visit, so I figured I’d drop a review!
We had a baby and a 1 year old last summer when we showed up, and joked that they put us up near the street so the kids didn’t disturb the other tables- but in fact, it was the best spot! Our 1 year old spent the entire time in the window waving to passerbys. Great food, such a friendly staff (and we know we leave a tornado behind us), and such a cute location. We will continue to recommend to friends and look forward to coming back when we travel out there again.

It’s a dive bar slash pool hall, so set your expectations for “atmosphere” properly. The barkeep doubles as the grill cook, and he was great. Friendly, outgoing, competent on the grill. Food is burgers and fries, and they are terrific. Get the double cheeseburger for 6 bucks, as the patties are small. Plenty of choices for toppings; their “all the way” only had chili sauce, onions, and mustard. Next time I’ll add coleslaw for the proper North Carolina version. Fries came from a bag, they were thin and cooked properly, then served piping hot. Decent draft selection but they were out of several local beers. Had the Red Oak, an NC Vienna lager, and one of our favorites.

Went here for lunch while visiting family in Beaufort. Employees are super friendly and the food is very fresh! A little pricey but they do give a lot of food. I ordered the shrimp platter and it could feed two people. I could not finish it. It was 18 bucks which seems kind of pricey for a meal for one person, however I’m not from the area and don’t know the average price for seafood here. It came with fries and coleslaw. Drinks are extra. Also they are CASH ONLY. They have an ATM inside.
Overall I would probably come back because the food was really good.

Found this spot thanks to visiting my favorite dessert food truck that said they'd be parked this weekend in front of the Dank Burrito Morehead City location. As a former NYC and So. Californian foodie, the restaurant's moniker piqued my interest.
I must say, come hungry for lunch or dinner! The portions are great and the menu choices are flavorful. Tried the Bang Bang Shrimp bowl and it did not disappoint, loved the crunchy shrimp with just the right amount of sweet chili/sriracha/mayo combo added so the dish wasn't drowning in the sauce.
Next I tried the Plain Jane beef burrito, a mild burrito with all the fixings but you can request, for example, extra beef or no beans, etc. It was generously sized, and perfect for those who want a hearty but healthy burrito, and want to ease up on the spices. It was delicious, I could only eat half and saved the rest otherwise I'd fall asleep while driving back home to New Hanover County.
Overall the food is deliciously seasoned, fresh, fun as in flavorful. and my only caveat is that I can't decide what to order next time. The menu reads like a food bazaar. It's not your typical burrito, and there's the Tex/Mex influence, but there's also Thai, and Japanese flavor pairings as well. Love the homage to '90s graffitti out front, as it stands out just like the food. If you miss the ecletic NYC vibe of a tasty lunch in Astoria or East Williamsburg, or if you are homesick (as I was) for an L.A. style pork belly burrito, I would say this would be where you'd find it, but better than that, it's downright North Carolinian all the way, from the hearty portions, friendly service, and the dishes described as flavor bombs, emanating from each bite.

We had a large party of 8 and ordered at an earlier dinner time and it did take awhile to get our food(not absurdly long). The food was mostly good and a few things were great! Highly recommend the cheese steak burrito and the shrimp burger burrito. I came in here the other day and was a little perplexed at the service. I ordered online and waited in line for several minutes. During that time, several more people came in after me. I was next in line, but when the woman found out I ordered online, she made me go sit down so she could serve everyone who got there after I did. This used to be my go to at least 4x a day. But I will not be going to this dunkin ever again! The manager they have now is the same employee with one of the nastiest attitudes I've ever seen! We just moved to this area and have had several pleasant experiences until the last 2 weeks. Two weeks ago part of our order was left out, then we waited 20 minutes for the missing wrap to be fixed. Last week we were told we couldn’t add any milk to our son’s latte even though we offered to pay for it. Our son is blind and doesn’t like much ice in his latte so he likes extra milk. Now today we were told we were banned from that location without being given an explanation. When we asked for information to contact the store DM we were told by the store manager that we couldn’t get that information. We haven’t been rude but we did ask for an explanation for both occasions. We will gladly go to the Morehead City and Cedar Point locations because they have always been extremely friendly. These locations have been very accommodating for my special needs son.
