I came here because someone on social media had recommended Val’s. The cheeseburgers were tasty especially with everything in the burger. The shake was awesome. Before drinking the shake, the food just hit different with a wild cherry Pepsi. If you get fries they put some extra in the bag. I ended up eating the car. There is no seating as it is strictly order and pickup. There is ample amount of parking . If you are in the St. Cloud area, I’d say go to Val’s for good eats.

Had the opportunity to visit Val's Hamburgers tonight.
Very small walk-in ordering area and kitchen.
Waited for 15 minutes for 2 double cheeseburgers and fries but was very pleased with the works burger and fries.
The fries were perfectly cooked and hot and fresh.
The burgers were delicious with tons of flavor. Fried onions, ketchup, mustard, and pickles. Yum. Great prices too. Wish I had room for a milkshake, they looked amazing.
Definitely a staple of the community being around since 1959. Will be back next time I'm in St. Cloud.

The burgers and fries are amazing! The prices, you cannot beat. I do suggest to get at least the double burgers as they are very thin and 2 put together would be one. The fries are incredible. Everything is made to order. If you are looking to sit down, bring camping chairs and have a little picnic in the parking lot. We were visiting friends in St Cloud. My husband went for his morning walk. He walked passed Val's Hamburgers. Because of it's unique look we knew we had to eat there. Our friends highly recommended Val's too.
You place your order on a kiosk. Your order number is the last four numbers of your cellphone number.
We ordered a double cheeseburger, french fries, a chocolate shake and a banana shake. The banana shake taste like a piece of laffy taffy candy. It is a small space and it was crowded. We received our order in less than 20 minutes. Everything was DELICIOUS!

Vals has been a staple in the saint cloud area for a reason...and it's their fries! Holy cow, I could eat a whole bag of fries and get a large shake in one of their 19 flavors and be set.
The burgers are good, nothing to run home about but not bad. Think of it has a bit better than the local county fair burger. But with better ingredients than any fast food chain could ever.
The horrible parking are made up for amazing food and friendly service. Definitely worth the stop.

My husband and I stopped today for lunch and we ordered 2 double cheeseburgers with everything, a large fry and 2 large butterscotch milkshakes and OMG let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I am a southern girl and I have a deep affliction for mom and pop type place, the ones that have been around are always a hit! Five Guys does a REALLY good basic burger along with extraordinary fries. In fact, they have my overall best fries of any fast food restaurant. Consistently good! I also love the peanuts. But...
The price/value, this is where my only problem with Five Guys comes, and is more a reflection on the chain than this location. Very kind. Very fast. The food was delicious. The moment there wasn't anyone in line to order I saw the workers cleaning. Unfortunately the ice wasn't working in the soda machine but sometimes things like that happen and you have to wait for coca-cola to come fix it. Absolutely one of the best locations I’ve been to all five guys I’ve been to always great food but this one stands out for sure the service is above and beyond the cashier remembered me after only visiting one time prior at this location he asked me how I have been and always has such a great attitude and a great smile on his face it’s contagious in the best way! I have three pastas I usually get when I come to Noodles. I love the Pasta Fresca, Spicy Korean Beef Noodles & Penne Rosa.
Today I'll be reviewing Spicy Korean Beef Noodles.
The Spicy Korean Beef Noodles are good. It offers a nice kick & the cucumbers on here help make it a perfect combo and off set the spice so it isnt overpowering the flavor. The combination of the ingredients are perfect. My biggest complaint is that I only got maybe 3 to 4 slices of beef. Usually that's the case but this time it was super disappointing.
I ordered pick up today and it was ready on time and accurate so that's appreciated. It was fresh and hot too! I would recommend this location for service and Noodles in general.

My first thing is that the issue was not the workers. They were all great and switched up my husband's order right away for him when his food came out different than what he wanted.
But I'm throughly disgusted and disappointed. The place itself is gross and just looks unclean. The drink station and utensil area is visibly dirty and looked to not have been cleaned in a while and also the tables and floors looked dirty. The bathrooms also felt really dirty and unclean.
When my food (Pad Thai) was brought out I instantly noticed an unpleasant and familiar smell that I couldn't place as it was brought to me. I shrugged it off and started eating but it did not taste good and I normally don't complain about my food so I just kept eating. But was getting more grossed out. Because of the food quality and the smell.
I stopped eating it and ate a few bites of my husbands food. Which was good but not overly amazing. But it was edible. Then still smelling that weird smell I took a good whiff of my food and it clicked.
It smelled like literal puke I was so off put and disgusted I had to move the bowl away and I put the rest in the garbage. My husband even noted he thought it smelled and tasted weird after having a bite of mine and agreed it smelled like puke.
Not saying that the place is like that all the time but I was pretty grossed out by that and will definitely not be eating there again.

I go in and see 3-4 coworkers in a huddle on their phones and talking. All here for having a good time at work when it’s slow. However, the lobby was dirty and needed a good cleaning. When I got back to work with my first meal of the day I was slightly disappointed. It’s on me for getting guacamole so late so ofc it’ll be brown. This is the second time we’ve visited this location. The first time was a hot mess, so much in fact, the owner gave us two free value baskets. I appreciated the effort on their end to try and reconcile what happened.
When we went to redeem those baskets, we were told it was a 25-30 min wait for food. We waited in the drive-thru lane for 25 minutes. When our food arrived, it was missing a kids meal. My husband went inside the store to get it. When he got it, it was missing the milk. Then he checked the bigger bag and realized they forgot our dipping sauces.

This location is hit or miss with most staff but Michelle has been the staple at this location for at least the that two years and she makes things so easy and is always pleasant and smiling. She noticed I had no used my birthday coupon and it was about to expire, most people wouldn’t mention that or try to help the customer or guest out. I got one closed together and luckily for me I knew what that meant. Photo proof below. But again make sure your staff knows about this. I’d get it if it was mid rush but I was the only car. Worst service and experience I have ever experienced in the drive through at 0800 on 10/25. Both of my breakfast sandwiches were incorrect (one had incorrect meat and the other was missing the cheese). When I drove back around to the window, the employees would look over but would not acknowledge me. When she finally came to the window, I explained the errors and handed her my slips (2 separate orders) she walked away with them and then came back to the window to argue about why I messed things up. I have been looking for a new burger place in Waite Park since Burger Time is no longer serving good food or service. I read through some reviews and decided to go to Freddy's. OMG! why didn't I try this earlier?! Great staff super friendly, fast, and they all seem to actually have fun & take pride in their jobs. I got the 5&5 meal. This came with 5 wings with sauce flavor of the inferno sauce. Then there was the 5 tenders with the slim sauce and another inferno sauce. Also got the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich. The tenders were super crispy and delicious. 10 times better than raising canes hands down. Raising canes is always soggy and there is only one sauce. There is a good amount of options for sauces at slim chickens. The wings were decently sized for the price paid. I did a online order and food was ready when I arrived on time. The fries were slightly soggy but well seasoned. I requested no toast since I don't like that but that usually comes with the meal too. Overall great experience and will definitely be coming back.

Stopped in to check out the new Slim Chickens in Saint Cloud. We went inside and ordered. First, great customer experience, people greeting you at the door helping you with the menu. Staff at the counter, very knowledgeable and worked quickly for the first day. Got to our table and waited a little bit for our food, but overall still good considering how busy it was.
We had the basket tenders. Toast was a little overdone, but the tenders were spot on. The tenders have a slight hint of salt and pepper, the breading was crispy and the chicken was served hot and juicy. We tried the honey mustard and spicy bbq sauces. The honey mustard has a stronger mustard flavor and the spicy bbq is sweet with hint of heat on the backend. I would definitely recommend the spicy bbq.
Staff continued to provide great service checking in with us on our experience as we ate and providing items to the table.

If you are trying to decide between the subways in St. Cloud this one is by far the one you should choose. The service was quick, and I mean in-out service. The store was the most clean subway I have ever been too which is saying a lot because I frequently travel across the us. The food was fresh and delicious (we ordered 2 footlong subs both on Italian herbs and cheese bread). Both of our bread was fluffy and loaded with toppings. The chicken was moist and juicy and not dry like most subways, which was a pleasant surprise. The sauce was very good on the subs too. They were fantastic in helping get me the great garlic with the aioli as it’s no longer on the menu (a make or break it menu item for me) We also wanted cookies and I guess we came on a good day because it was free cookie Friday, also that is something I believe is exclusive to this subway as I’ve never heard of a free cookie Friday elsewhere. The cookies were fresh and delicious, and were well separated for allergens. On the topic of allergens we have 2 major allergies fish and tree nuts and this subway was very helpful and made sure there was no cross contamination. The whole staff was extremely kind and welcoming to us (2/28/25 around lunch) and probably aren’t getting paid enough to be that kind honestly. So I very much appreciate the workers at the time we went as they made me feel very confident that when I’m in the area I will go out of my way to eat at this subway again. Also bonus because parking was free and we had no trouble getting a spot to park and was highly accessible for people with disabilities. My only complaint is they don’t have the vitamin water I like which is totally fine because the lemonade was pretty good.

First time I was shorted my beverage and chips the last two times I have order.... doing the buy one get one free foot long BOTH Times I have been given 1 ft long and the second a 6 inch when the recipt clearly says 12 inch... Horrible service. Does not take app coupons. I tried to scan for reward points at least and said something to the cashier and the guy purposely wouldn’t let me scan. My sub was so toasted I couldn’t even eat it. Pop machine doesn’t work. Went with a group of 4 and every single one of our subs were over toasted. I usually don’t go out of my way to say something but when you spend $15 for a foot long of bread crumbs it gets upsetting.

Guy hates it when you come in at 8:30 when it closes at 10. And even if it is open he gets pissed when u come in after 8:30 that’s when he puts everything away. And you cancel my order on DoorDash at 8:45 pm. Lazy. Good sandwiches but definitely bad customer service. This is an ongoing issue. Stop closing early or change your hours period. I was literally so sick today and wanted to order a sandwich from subway on DoorDash. They cancel my order at 8:45 and I didn’t get the coupon from DoorDash that they offered and it disappeared all because they canceled the order. I’m pretty sure it disappeared because they thought it was used before they refunded my order. Wish DoorDash would completely do a different location when I order I hate this subway location. I Had to do jimmy johns! Thank you jimmy johns for always coming thru!
