The lady was heavy set and caucasian older & had one of the nastiest attitudes she started ordering me around saying I was standing in the wrong area to pickup an order they have two different pickup areas there’s a nicer way to talk to people. Talking to me like I was one of her employees or something. If you are a delivery driver or even a customer I’d avoid this location unless you want to deal with being talked to like trash. They definitely don’t operate and treat people with the same respect as other locations I’ve been to as a customer and a driver picking up an order. DO BETTER treat people how you want to be treated. But I guess I can’t expect much in the area it’s in very hood location.

I placed a mobile order and headed to the restaurant. Once I arrived the line was out to the street and I just didn’t have the time to wait 20 minutes plus. So I decided to leave. I called the restaurant told them the situation and asked for my mobile order to be cancelled and the young lady said she had done so. I confirmed the cancellation with customer care as well. Later on I receive an email from a team member requesting “proof” of purchase and denying my refund AFTER my order had been cancelled. I didn’t like the tone of the email nor did I appreciate being charged for food I never received. I have yet to receive my refund and the charge is still pending on my credit card. Be mindful of this when placing a mobile order at this location.

When I walk into the location I see 3 young guys joking with each other. I was not greeted but with barely a hi and until I said what I was there for they didn’t even ask if they could help me. I order the Vito all the time from different locations due to traveling from different offices with my job. I have never had this bad of a sub ever from a Jimmy John’s. I am completely disappointed! My husband took two bites and trashed it. He also did not have any mayonnaise or mustard either. I called the store and the manager Shawn answered and was very unprofessional. I believe this young man needs better training on how to talk to an upset customer as well as not laughing during the call because you cannot speak correctly over the phone. I understand that there is a set amount of meat for certain sandwiches and cheese but the lettuce was barely there. I have always seen at a Hampton location, & Norfolk location, & even the new Suffolk location has way more lettuce!!! I will never return to this location!! I love Jimmy John’s but I will not return to this one. Extremely disappointed!!

Unfortunately that’s the only positive thing about this subway location. First off the gentleman who served me was way more interested in his phone than doing his job and making my sandwiches. Not only was he slow but extremely unattentive. I had to tell him 3 times what kind of cheese I wanted, only to get home and find that it was wrong. Lastly take a look at the photos, where’s the meat? Spending almost $30 on two subs that wouldn’t feed or fill up a toddler… SMH. Please just don’t waste your time or money going to this location.

There is also a very sweet lady who was working behind the counter. Those are the ONLY things I can say good about this place. I believe that the owner of the store is the one that helped me which is crazy bc not only did he make me a very disappointing sandwich, but his customer service was horrible. He was EXTREMELY slow. I came at lunch time on a Friday and he acted like he had all the time in the world. He made my sandwich on the tiniest bread, gave me hardly any turkey, put nasty pieces of spinach on it, crowded all of the veggies on one side, then smothered it in ranch, making it very sloppy. And he cut the bread in the weirdest way, leaving the very end of the bread together so that when I opened it to rearrange everything, it made a mess bc I wasn't expecting it to be cut that way. I stayed in the building to eat and overheard him interacting with other customers. They had to repeat themselves multiple times bc it's obvious he wasn't listening. And he was also interrupting people! Overall, this experience sucked and I definitely won't be coming back here.
