Everyone loved their dinners! We started with fried pickles, you can tell the pickles were made from high qaulity cucumbers, they were thick cut and a little spicy. The kids had Chicken Tenders and Corn dog, my wife had the Chicken Pita and I had a Patty Melt. All the food was fresh and the service was great! We even treated ourselves to a brownie with a scoop of ice cream. I highly recommend this stop! Easy parking and clean bathrooms too.

The place was quaint, cozy nostalgic and it definitely smelled amazing. We were promptly seated and as I looked around I felt like I was home!! From the photos on the wall to the chalkboard with pickle themed jokes there was plenty to look at. The staff was super friendly and after ordering and waiting a few minutes we got our food. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and can definitely say they were delicious. Please keep in mind this isn’t fast food where someone takes frozen food and then deep fried it. This is not instant food so it takes a few minutes to get your order. Sit down, eat your appetizers and enjoy looking around and chatting with the people you are with. My jalapeño burger was great and so were the fries. This is definitely a place I recommend and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

The server got my Mothers order wrong and then argued with her. The fries were oily and greasy, the Phili cheese steak literally was the size of a hot dog bun and flavorless without ranch. We stayed in a room with a king size bed that was so comfortable and beautiful. The views of the River are beautiful and tranquil with ducks and geese swimming and playing in the water. The hotel has all the character you expect of a home built in 1919. The owners were extremely accommodating loaning us a USB power brick to charge our phones in the room. There are all kinds of fun games inside and outdoors as well as puzzles and books. And finally, the room includes a gourmet breakfast that would easily be $20 or more per person. I would take regular walks along the river and enjoy the scenery. Traveling with my dietary restrictions is difficult and usually bland. The food here was some of the best plant based food I have had in the US. She took it as a challenge to make me amazing items. The service here was top notch.

The only thing about this business that I can't honestly recommend is dining in, due to this location only having a small bar with barstools along the front of the building. If I were younger, that wouldn't be an issue, but having back issues and sitting on bar stools in most places isn't a pleasant experience for me, but at least they do have some seating for dining in, as opposed to another pizza place that I shall not name that has "Hut" in their name. This place may very well be the cleanest overall in Glen Rose from the few times I have gone in vs. going through their drive-through.

The ladies working at this BK are so sweet despite being understaffed. I was acknowledged quickly while they communicated w one another and completed other orders.
