I would not normally take the time to review a fast food restaurant like subway, even when the food is bad. Long story short I then spoke up and also expressed how disgusting and unsanitary that was but she took the plunger that visibly came from the bathroom that had some small pieces toilet paper stuck to it and proceeded to plunge the sink while telling me it’s not that big of a deal because the sink would be cleaned afterwards totally disregarding the fact that there are customers present and how the consequences of this act could harm the wellbeing of their customers health.. I can only imagine the things that take place when no one is around or can’t see, with that being said I have informed a health inspector and will not be eating at this restaurant again.

On the most recent experience I watch the in person customers bread get cut then as an almost pavolian response the printer for online orders printed a slip at which point the in person customer and everyone behind her became secondary. The in person customers sandwich did not get attention untill the online order was completed. This isnt an isolated experience or a lone employer (although having a single employee over the hours of 4 to 7 seems to be a bad staffing choice) this is also the same type of response when a delivery driver arrives to pick up an order. Ingredients always seem fresh but I am usually coming before or on near peak serving times so they might restock produce before I get there. They discontinued the roast beef sandwich which was my go-to in 2023 but this was done through Canada so can't really fault them for that. I have never had to ask the servers to add more when loading the sub. Staff are not overly friendly but are usually pretty quick and efficient. Dining area is usually as clean as can be expected given it's a high traffic area. The big reason they only get two stars for me is because they don't accept gift cards. Found this out after placing an order during lunch time and had about five people waiting behind me for their orders so I did not make a big deal out of it at the time. I have a real issue with franchise places that do not accept offers associated with their chains (should have a sign or something indicating such that you can see before ordering). Can be a real red flag but as I have had no previous extremely negative experiences will probably still go on a regular basis.
