The food was excellent, the view was lovely, and the service was top notch. We had cod n chips, fish tacos and prawns but the absolute stars of the meal were the pumpkin soup and banana foster bread pudding. Our friend ordered the brownie boat and strawberry shortcake which we clgot to try a little of and it was so good. If we're ever in the area again we'd love to come back here again!

We crossed Water street towards the sea, and went in to have a look at their food display. There were many items that look scrumptious. I ended up with the breakfast sandwich with organic egg, melted brie cheese, roasted tomatoes and greens, on a toasted ciabatta bun. My partner ordered blueberry brioche bread pudding with butter sauce. The food looked presentable, one bite of my sandwich tells me that this is not some fast food joint – the person in the kitchen really knows what he is doing. The roasted tomatoes were very tasty. The ciabatta was brushed with oil before toasting. And of course the bread pudding was awesome. It looked sufficiently dry in the cooler, but perfect for soaking up the butter sauce. We came back for breakfast again the next morning. I really regret that we didn't come back for lunch as well, (as we got distracted by some quiche next door which turned out to be awful.) If we do come back to stay in Port Townsend, one of the reasons would be to eat at the Lighthouse Cafe.
