We arrived a lil bit earlier than one member of a party of four. The restaurant was practically empty. I can see this policy coming in handy when the place is packed but the way we we're treated in that situation, the place was basically empty, was not very nice. The selection has always stayed fairly broad. It's nice to go to a place and see new items every so often. This time I tried the Szechuan Short Ribs. The dish was well presented although it had a little too much fat on it. My wife was the winner of the night. She ordered the chicken Baltimore and it was delicious. The Old Bay cream sauce was just right. A lot of things made with old bay and end up being too salty. A chicken was lightly breaded and deep fried but still juicy. We both had a side of broccoli that was good and while I had a side of rice she had a side of mashed potatoes which went great with the old bay cream sauce. My only advice would be to put a little more crab on top. Both of our meals were $24 a piece. If you're not familiar with bulls and bears they have a nice layout inside a cool building but still have outside seating on the sidewalk. Our server did an awesome job. He was truly working his tail off since he was the only server working on a Saturday night. Luckily we went early. I feel bad for the guy.

This felt like we were at a wedding reception not out for a nice dinner date. For $49.99 per person I expected a much better experience. This was our first and last time at Zach’s Fireside. I got bacon and the two aforementioned sides with lunch chicken tenders with a sweet spicy kick sauce and fries (wanted to try something different from my usual) they also quickly corrected me missing one of the sides I ordered bringing it out seconds later, that was impressive! They also offered a few $6 to-go options so I recommend to French Toast Bake to my buddy who got steak as he wanted breakfast food too (overwhelmed by all the options at first because everything looks great to a first-timer) everything went smooth and Taylor was attentive and brought out dishes with the speed and accuracy of a Magician truly, food just appeared! Thank you very much for adding that much more to our special visit. No visit is complete without visiting the great store inside filled with some of the best snacks and items. You can also have a seat in a rocking chair and play checkers which we did for a bit before hitting the road again ending our trip for the weekend heading back to our side of Maryland. Look at their menu online the ordered for pickup. They have Dine-in available. Their hours are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. they also offer curbside pickup if you prefer. We ordered a veggie melt sandwich, and the steak wrap sandwich. Both came with chips and a very nice fruit garnish a pineapple and strawberry. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant. And when we got there to pick up our order it was ready and waiting for us in a very nice cellophane bag with a red ribbon around it. The food was very tasty . I had the steak wrap sandwich and it was made with flank steak which is one of my favorites so I was very happy and the coleslaw was very good that was in the rap . My wife had a veggie melt sandwich served open-faced on focaccia bread with smoked mozzarella and grilled marinated vegetables it was very tasty and she enjoyed it greatly . This was our first trip to the rhubarb house and it will not be our last . The food and the prices are both excellent . Thank you for making a wonderful lunch for us . This is another local restaurant in Hagerstown that has been around for a while but still needs the locals to eat there or order food to help small businesses survive through this pandemic. As I've said in my other reviews we need to support all of our local restaurants and stores so that the money stays here in the community and helps out the people around us to keep their jobs and to be able to make an living and pay their bills. If we are going to go out and eat let's eat somewhere local and support our local restaurants.

I had to go by and try the new Wagyu Burger. Had to do it in true style and get this as a double. The burger by itself was only 6.99 and 4.00 tacked on with the extra patty. The burger was very good and flavorful. There was a good char on the outside. The burger sauce was great as well. All the fkavors worked well together. I have never had real Wagyu before, but thank you Arby's for trying to incorporate something like that at the fast food level when no one else is. The restaurant is very clean.
