A picture is worth a thousand words… I was so insulted to get served home fries with black gunk in it. I have never or would ever serve myself let alone others at home, food like that. The fact that the cook and waitress ignored the obvious and still served it like that, made me question if their food was safe and the restaurant’s food handling trustworthy enough to eat. Low standards in food prep, appearance and service were sketchy conditions enough for me to reject the food. My initial complained fell on deaf ears with no apology. Only just an explanation that they use russet potatoes. Like if that is an acceptable excuse. I just asked for the bill so I can leave and dine somewhere else. The waitress offered to wrap the rest of my meal to go but I told her not to bother. The trash would have been the appropriate place for this meal to have ended up at. Goodness even the plate they served my meal in was chipped. If you are thinking of visiting this restaurant be vigilant in setting standards on how you want your food to be prepared, cooked and served. It was my birthday and my husband and son planned a nice night out for us. If the menu wasn’t as pricey, things like the decor could be possibly overlooked. We feel that when a restaurant isn’t packed and they ask if we are celebrating and they offer a special birthday item, it shouldn’t be forgotten. There were two other tables besides us.

I wasn’t completely disgusted bc like I said I’ve been in this business many years and everything that could go wrong usually does during a State Inspection. BUT during this horribly long time of waiting, and don’t get me wrong we were chatting away with an old friend so the time wasn’t standing still, per se. BUT we were only offered ONE small plate of cheese n crackers AND ONLY after saying we (especially my 5 year old child) were starving. There were 3 other tables in the front dinning room that had already finished eating or were in the process of being served during our wait time. So I really didn’t understand the massive hold up until the sever told me about the line products being ditched. At the one hour mark my toddler was so starved we were about ready to just leave when the server said she will bring us more crackers n cheese (it never came). Our food arrive almost exactly at 645pm and in my “risotto” was long grain rice cooked with milk, my daughters salmon (that was served way LAST btw) was fishy so she couldn’t eat it, my fathers crab fried rice didn’t have any crab in it 😒, and my friend was too starved and embarrassed for suggesting this place she didn’t say a word about her lamb. I paid for our dinner (ZERO COMPs offered), only to then be asked aftet payment if we all wanted desserts. “Ok, Sure” we all said. How nice of them, we thought bc SHE really was a very nice server…. But nope! Got a separate check for that too. So 2hours and $200 later, it’s Safe to say that we will never go back there again.

This location still has one of the best grilled steaks in the Lehigh valley. My favorite cut is the 6 oz Dallas Filet and baked potato pictured below. Management/ownership For some reason decided the bar top that was fine needed to be torn out and replaced with a cheap replacement vinyl that resembles no where you prefer to drink or socialize at. On top of that, the speaker system has completely died and there’s barely any sound for music or games. You’d think that would be a sport bars’ priority. The bathrooms have always been questionable. I wish they would do something about that. I think they need to realize this is a forks township location with good clientele and zero competition and maybe that’s the reason for the lack of reinvestment back into the bar/restaurant which should be a literal gold mine. But it continues to be lack luster. If it wasn’t for the exceptional bartenders and service staff, this would be a lost cause. C’est La vie.

Last Sunday we went to the Easton Market for breakfast. Unless we wanted something sweet from the delicious bakery, there was not one place IN the market open for breakfast food. I suggested that we walk around the block to the cute little place that we've passed a million times, but never stopped at. SO glad that we finally made our way into Angelo's! The inside reminded us of a Jersey diner, which made us very happy since we moved here from Jersey 2 years ago. The service was excellent and the staff were so pleasant and constantly checked on us. The food was delicious, everything was fresh, the portions were huge and the prices were extremely reasonable. We are definitely adding this to our new fav list of local restaurants. If you haven't already been there, then get there!

The food was AMAZING! So much so that I forgot to snap a picture before diving in. The wings were absolutely delicious, cooked, and seasoned to perfection. Definitely made their way to my top two places in Easton to get good wings. The wings I've purchased were garlic parm and lemon pepper. I also ordered the fish tacos, which was also so delicious that I would order again and again and again. The Buffalo shrimp was good, too. Burgers are great and the homemade poppers are delicious..I've never had a bad meal there. The service is always good. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I took her up on the offer today and, while the tenders are still underwhelming, the meal today was far superior to my last.
