My husband and I decided to try out Vin Antico’s Thanksgiving menu this year. It was the best decision, we avoided the crowds at the supermarket, hours of cooking and virtually no clean up. Having never been to this restaurant before it was a bit of a gamble but we were reassured by all the great reviews. The experience turned out to be better than expected! The staff was so friendly and helpful, we picked the meal up the day before all in ready to heat packaging with clear instructions. It was truly he most delicious thanksgiving dinner and certainly pleasant escape from the stress of this year. We are definitely going to do this again next year and I highly encourage you all to do the same!

The service here is outstanding. Coming from out of town, I dined alone at the chef’s bar table and they treated me like an old friend . The food is delicious and perfectly prepared. Bogie’s Too, is one of my go to breakfast places. Michael Fried is the owner and Leslie Fried is the best server and gastronomic concierge ever!
I moved to Walnut Creek earlier this year, but make it a point to visit as frequently as I can.
My usual order is the ABTJ - Avocado Bacon, Tomato and Jack cheese.
My second favorite is the MOOC. Visit to see what it is. Hint- C is green Chilis.
They are always votes #1 in Marin for Eggs Benedict. I am not a fan of EB but they do make the best, in Marin and elsewhere.

If I lived closer to this place, I would absolutely have brunches here every weekend! Amazing food, terrific service, and family-friendly vibe. Cinnamon roll Pancake and Peruvian flaxseed waffles are must-haves. Huevos Divorciados (I dont remember the exact name but a kind of Huevos Rancheros) was really delicious! The Marin Scramble rocks! It’s an an egg-free breakfast tofu scramble with excellent home fries and toast.

This is a charming burger joint. Kid behind the register is sweet as pie. The people there talk to you while they are working. Burgers are great. GF Buns fall apart and next time I'd go with a lettuce wrap but the burger itself was great and the curly fries were actually crispy. 10/10. A small but welcoming burger stop. Phyllis’s has excellent customer service, they’re fast on the orders and the food is amazing. My order consisted of a giant burger topped with pesto sauce, two giant burgers with bacon, a large garlic fries and small regular fries paired with a coffee milk shake, mint chip milk shake and a vanilla milk shake. The burger was a great choice I’ve never had a burger with pesto before but it’s definitely something that I’ll be recommending to future customers. The shake on the other hand tasted a little bit too much like black coffee however the mint chip specialty milkshake was delicious. Between three people we weren’t not able to finish the garlic fries you get pretty big servings. The small here is a large at other places so keep that in mind when you’re ordering. There is seating indoor and out but it is limited but there are plenty of parks to stop and have a picnic near by. I will most definitely be coming back to this establishment for years to come. Thank you for the amazing dinning experience.

Wife ordered tacos, they were good. I ordered a burger, medium-well, because I like a crust on my burger (was hoping for a sear). We were in area for day and was looking for a breakfast place. I found it on Google and drove to place. The place was cute. It was like sitting inside a garden. I little waterfall created a peaceful ambiance as well. The service was so fast and efficient. They were all very nice and worked well as a team. The food came out fast but accurate. I can’t recommend the Garden Cafe enough! I had a wonderful first experience here today having lunch. The food was delicious & nutritious- I got the Salmon Greek Salad (comes with garlic bread) and the “San Rafael Sunrise” drink, which is a juice including veggies and chia seeds. Lots of seating options indoors and outdoors with good lighting. Free wifi for those looking for a good study spot.
The service was AMAZING and contributed to creating such a friendly, inviting atmosphere. I have to give a special shout-out to Miguel, who was so gracious and apologetic about my juice being made wrong the first time. They were out of beets and I believe Miguel called someone and had more beets brought in while I was eating lunch so that I had a corrected juice with beets to enjoy before I finished eating! To be clear, I told Miguel it was completely fine that they were out of beets but he insisted it wasn’t fair to not get what I ordered and made sure I got my beet juice. I can vouch for how much the Garden Cafe values each customer there! I will be recommending to friends and coming back.
Edit: came back several times! Take out was a good experience and sitting outside was also a good experience! I got the power punch smoothie and it was delicious. I also tried the mahi mahi fish tacos; they were good but my favorite is still the salmon greek salad. If you like spicy, the habanero sauce is great according to my friend!

04.26.24 Driving thru on our way to Willits to view property, we were so hungry we figured we weren't going to make it to downtown San Rafael, googled for Asian restaurants near me while still at the gas station and this is the 1st to pop up (closest to me/near Hwy 101N), had 4.5+ reviews and went with it.
We all got the lunch specials, probably the best priced food ANYWHERE, HUGE portions, I think due to serving all of the construction/service crew who frequent this establishment. The Hot & Sour Soup that came with the meal was piping hot, fresh, delicious and very authentic (daughter added 1 sugar packet to her soup and declared it perfect).
*Their Mongolian Beef was delicious, fresh ingredients, hot, slightly sweet, crunchy vegetables!
*String Bean Beef (in Black Bean Sauce) was too salty & oily (extra oil maybe due to us requesting it be made Spicy(?)) but still tasty.
*We wouldn't order the Szhechuan Beef again though as the beef is dusted in cornstarch, deep fried, then sauteed w.vegetables in red sauce. Tasted slightly bitter, no hint of sweetness (which daughter prefers), and was quite heavy.
Service by the young lady in glasses was very good!
We would revisit this restaurant again, though next time will request less salt & oil.

Yu Shang has been my favorite Chinese(they also serve Japanese & Sushi w/a Full Sushi Bar + Chef w/TVs) food restaurant ever since I moved to the San Francisco, CA Bay area. Their sushi is top notch, with a large Full Sushi Bar that's separate from the main dining area. My favorite dish is the General Tsao Chicken. It's good as a takeout order but if you want the BEST General Tsao Chicken that you've ever tasted then order it when dining in Yu Shang. The General Tsao Chicken comes out as a large portion, piping hot and looking scrumptious presented with the freshest/greenest broccoli I've ever seen. It's similar to Orange Chicken, with a hint of spice and each bite is crunchy/chewy bliss. I enjoy it with white rice and their Pot Stickers are also solid. The Pot Stickers are pork and very large in size and delicious, I'm not sure if you can order them with chicken or another way. There's limited street parking directly in front of Yu Shang so you might have to park a block away and walk but it's well worth it. You will not regret your trip to dine at Yu Shang Restaurant.

The Mongolian chicken was bland and the vegetables in the szechuan chicken tasted weird and I was looking forward to it most. The best part of the meal was the fortune. We did take out, so we didn't tip, and the moment the guy realized that he was in mid sentence of wishing us a good night, but stopped himself. You should never expect a tip for takeout. The tipping thing has gotten out of hand and I used to be a waitress. If I sat down and ate, that's one thing, but we came and picked up the food and cleaned up after ourselves. Stopped here for lunch on our way to Healdsburg. It is a true dive bar. Located on a street full of car repair shops, we were not sure we were at the right place.
Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the Texas burger with tater tots and the lumber jack burger with onion rings. Super cool place! Came here for lunch on a Saturday and was very impressed with both the beer 🍻 and the food. The falsetto (West Coast IPA) and Devils Gulch (hazy IPA) were my two favorites. The triple IPA was very good too. Took home some cans to enjoy!
Lunch was excellent. Had the veggie sandwich with German potato salad and chicken wings with buffalo sauce. Everything was very tasty 😋.

OH MY GOD. Pond Farm is a playground of beer joy! No, wait, a candy store for beer lovers who are gluten free!! I literally tried everything on tap… I LOVED so many of them, they’re so layered and thoughtfully crafted and all so different. I bought multiple mix and match four packs to go and even a bottle I hadn’t tried bc of… trust since everything else was so damn good. I think my two favs were the Devil’s Gulch Hazy IPA and.. oh no I don’t see it.. it’s in a dark green can (help! It existed in July but don’t see on menu now). For something light, the lager is classic, and the lady beer is light with a little more sparkle and nuance. BUT I LOVED EVERYTHING except for one or two that were sweeter on the palate (still great just not excellent for my personal preferences). I foolishly didn’t eat but the food looked so tasty. Very spacious place, loved the ambiance. Everyone who worked there was fabulous - just as excited for me as I was about all of my beer options and the goodies I brought home. Thank you!!!!

First time going to this place. I went to get some brunch and I ordered from the savory crepes and I got the Luna option. It had sausage, scrabbled eggs, mozzarella cheese and some avocado. The crepe was really good and so were the French fries it came with. We also ordered a dessert crepe which was the s’mores crepe. Visited on a random Wednesday morning for breakfast and took a seat on one of the two seat tables against the wall. A few other patrons sat along the counter eating and drinking coffee. The place was relaxed, dim, and lovely. The server was perfectly nice and I already had my order decided so in a flash I had a perfect iced tea and my ticket was in a ticket for a corned beef hash combo.
The plate was delicious with big shreds of corned beef, properly cooked potatoes and onions, and the entire eggs Benedict alongside. On the Benedict the yolk was runny and every part of the dish was hot, seasoned, and hearty.

The food was fine, but the service was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we were told to wait even though the restaurant was not crowded. The table we were first seated at was not prepared with utensils, and the staff member who initially guided us never came back to take our order.
Later, another staff member (a younger man with a beard) came instead, and he was polite and helpful. When I asked again about sitting by the window, he kindly moved us there without any problem. His professionalism was appreciated, but it highlighted the poor attitude of the first staff member who seemed dismissive.

It's hard to put into words the experience at this place. Tuesday night, shouldn't be busy...and it wasn't. I walked in to pick up an online order, and it took 5 to 10 minutes before anyone came to the bar to help me. When the guy did make it over, he was helpful. Food is good, service a little slow, they cut back their hours so they close an hour earlier. They are not a 5 star restaurant , they are 4 star consistently and a prerry good place to eat, just not great nor outstanding. So I give them 3 stars due to cleanliness issues, and the fact that multiple times I've had to go find someone for one reason or another, and the staff is all hanging in the back between the bar and the kitchen. I do have another issue with them and their employees washing their hands before going back to work. Let's leave it at that, and hope that was an isolated incident. Having to do more with the individual and not the establishment. When to Applebee's to enjoy a nice family dinner, was quoted a wait time of 20-30 minutes, waited over an hour. When we asked the host if we would be seated soon or how much longer it would be he told us that 20-30 minutes was only an estimated and that's what they are told to tell everyone. Stopped by here on a road trip. Northern California has a lot of A&W, but southern California does not. My BF loves root beer floats so naturally we had to stop. The prices were a little steep, paid $26 for a #3 combo with a large root beer float drink upgrade, and a seperate order of chili cheese fries. But the float was giant, the fries were piping hot and super delish! It looks small in the picture because my bf has massive hands but i digress. The burger was pretty great, had a juicy charbroiled taste that gave me nostalgia to a good old fashion mom and pop burger place. There was a ton of trash cans placed around the parking lot and 2 at the actual drive thru, which was nice because I emptied my trash in them and its very convenient. I really appreciated that. Employees were super nice too. 10/10

This is the first A&W chain that Ive eaten at. I see them alot, but haven't tried them except for this place and honestly I might not try other A&Ws except this branch cuz the quality is top tier. The portions are big and fresh. The chicken tenders are always piping hot and juicy and the fries are crispy and remains crispy through out the meal. Great little place for anytime meal. We were hungry on our way back to Bay area on Christmas and most food places were closed, but not this one. Their food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, this actually applies to all takeaway orders and empty the bag to ensure your entire order is there.
