Seafood pasta was filled with plenty of shrimp, scallops, and lobster. Garlic bread was yummy and noodles were well cooked. Our only complaint was that the seafood wasn’t well seasoned so sometimes felt a little bland. Clam chowder was phenomenal, perfectly creamy with potatoes and clam. Lobster stew was one of the best we’ve had. Filled with lobster and with a creamy butter soup. Lobster roll (we recommend cold with mayo) was on a brioche roll. The roll was smaller than other shops bread wise but don’t let the size discourage you it had a plentiful amount of lobster. Caesar salad was yummy and the small size was good to split for 2. Would definitely come back!

The service was a little on the slow side and the prices were a little high but it's a tourist spot so both of those are to be expected. We had the beef ragu, steak frites, and a nice juicey burger for dinner and then blueberry panacotta for dessert. We visited Joshua's for the first time on July 28th during Covid-19. It was a hot evening, but their outside tent was perfect. Carpeting on the floor, lights, flowers, mosquito netting, and fans made the space elegant and romantic. The tables were spaced out so it felt very private. The waitress, Savannah, was outstanding...professional, friendly and efficient. Cocktails were served and then our food began to arrive. We had the lamb and salmon for entrees and both were presented and cooked to perfection. The flavors were exquisite. We finished the meal with creme brulee and homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream in which you could taste the fresh mint used to make it. Joshua's was truly one of the best meals we had ever eaten and will definitely be a must to do when in Wells, Maine. This is a special place.
