I then asked a different server to please send over our waitress as we didn’t want to wait anymore. We had been there for over an hour and my daughter was starting to get fussy where she is autistic being out for super long periods of time can be hard. Our waitress never asked us for refills we had to ask for them. Overall really sad experience at Texas road house. Our food was comped off the bill but I ended up paying 20$ because we still had drinks the chili and salad and I didn’t feel right not paying for those. A manager never even came out to speak to us or apologize about the wait or explain the situation or offer us anything! As someone who is also a waitress this is just out right HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service.

We came in expecting small food dishes and good cocktials. We ended up getting OUTSTANDING food and OUT OF THIS WORLD cocktails. He generally dosent like baked potatoes but he really enjoyed this one. The ribs were awesome and very meaty. We didnt order dessert but the choices looked pretty yummy. Our waitress was Shyann. She was a pleasure. She was very attentive, professional, was quick to have the steak re-cooked, and our soda was never empty. Dirty dishes never sat there for long. The fries weren't hard so very tasty and easy to eat. The mud pie for dessert is very filling for $9.99, do not get two, I recommend on sharing because it is huge. But, it is Memorial Day. Bathroom was decent, no liter or garbage on the floor. On a normal day there is plenty of tables and booths. They have wheelchair accessibility. They accept credit/debit and cash. Prices are somewhat expensive but it's a high chain restaurant so that's not this locations fault. We had a party of four and each of us got something different. I got smothered tips with rice and corn. My tips were cooked perfect and the rice and corn were pretty tasty and fresh. My husband got baked haddock with french fries and coleslaw. The people we were with got buffalo macaroni and cheese and broccoli and cheddar soup with a grilled cheese. No complaints on any of the food. They offer unlimited popcorn through out your dinner. That's a neat gesture. The food was good. The waitress was good. But I would consider adding more staff on holidays. Overall, 3 stars! <3

Prices are reasonable compared to other places and they do usually have good food. The place has a 1950's type of feel to it, with all the designs, so that I do like. I do recommend this place because it's not horrible. It just needs to start treating the employees better and not try to kill them. They accept debit/credit and cash and you can eat here and be completely full for about forty or fifty bucks for two people together. The staff was great, I have no complaints about the few that were there. I watched a party of sixteen leave because there wasn't enough staff on to do all that. Again, staffing issue. We over heard her telling another costumer we close at 12. We heard that over and over again, We will never forget that Applebee's in Augusta closes at 12 . Well anyways it wasn't the fact that she was vacuuming but she was aggressive doing it, she kept slamming the vacuum into the booth that we were sitting in. It was very uncomfortable and annoying. The manager did take our steak off the check but we will NEVER BE back..

Only 3 tables being used including my own, and 2 people at the bar. Location appeared to have plenty of staff on this day. We waited maybe 20 minutes or so for our food to come out. All the food was really good, I think people are generally used to fast food wait times and sub par food, so waiting 20 minutes for higher quality food seems like a long time. It’s really not that long at all. The boneless wings were really good, crunchy but not like KFC crunchy. Really good heat, but not too much to ruin the taste of the chicken. My daughters really enjoyed their food, the pizza stayed together when being bit Into. Chips and dip were nothing too special, no artificial taste or anything. One of the meals was the chicken parm fettuccine. I arrived at Applebee’s at approximately 3:55 to make sure I would get our meals hot Since this location can never prepare your food on time. We still waited a good 10 minutes before the associate brought the food out to our car ( 25 minutes PAST the pickup time) we arrived home and sat down to enjoy a nice hot meal to see the chicken parm had NO chicken!?? My husband called because I was a bit too upset to talk to anyone making such a big mistake on his meal, only to hear the restaurant manager give him a hard time saying it was HER that packed the meal and it clearly stated on our ticket to have NO CHICKEN! She even asked how we placed our order, knowing full well it was on the ticket ,as she so nastily stated, it was SHE who bagged the meal. She went back and forth with him and ended the conversation saying she would refund him his meal and the tip we paid. To this date, nothing had been credited. I can’t say I’m surprised, she’s not the best choice of a person to work in a customer service position, never mind being the manager! I was just telling my husband today when you can't decide where you want to eat people just usually pick applebee's. Good food your use to, you know the times for half off appetizers, and just a sense of familiarity, you go where you know. Not every service is perfect, not every service is top notch but it's a popular food spot with reasonable prices. Service wasn't the best today but I think they were short staffed. A couple times a year they have all you can eat boneless wings, those are a good deal, just keep an eye out when they do them. They are wheelchair friendly, budget friendly and health friendly, tons of healthy choices, they also include calorie counting on the menu. They have a full bar you can eat or drink at, they accept debit/credit or cash and you can pay on the kiosk at your table. I learned something cool today, on the kiosk on your table you can call your waitress, that's a neat feature. Portion sizes are always good here, definitely worth the price. My only nit pick is, how come you guys don't have gravy for your mashed potatoes? That makes me sad. Other than that, we love this place, thanks! Updated: 12/30/24: Ryan was our waiter again. The best wait staff you got, we don't know him from out of the restaurant but we seem to get him quite regularly when we come in. Very genuine and attentive. Give him a raise! This rating is based on tonight's service. Food is always great but red in my steak is a big fat no. Yuck. They rectified the situation and cooked it longer and I'm not one to cause a fit as long as the red in my steak goes away. Ryan our waiter is always amazing. The guy deserves a raise, he works circles around most of them, always pleasant and always attentive. The man who brought my steak back out named Josh was super nice and he made sure the steak was done. Thank you! The restaurant itself was clean and stocked, bathroom as well. Parking here is very spacious and prices are reasonable especially during half off appetizers. My only nit pick is you guys need gravy. But, your mashed potatoes are still really flavorful. The staff were kind, prompt, and overall fantastic. They were out of strawberries for my milkshake, but I couldn’t even be upset because my burger and the bun? Cooked perfectly. My fries? He offered no apology, and told me that it was company policy not to refund customers. The best that he could due was to replace the order tomorrow. Leaving no other option, I agreed to this. After telling the family what had happened when I called, my daughter called back and asked to talk with the manager.
