Absolutely out-of-this-world experience at Pike & Pint! The atmosphere was great, and the staff went above and beyond. Went back after a few years. Last time I went I had such a bad experience that I didn't go back till last night.
Started off with the tuna wraps(forgot to get a picture) and Buffalo wings with ranch and blue cheese. Had a bloody Mary and husband had a blueberry lemon martini. For dinner hubby had the savory and spicy bison burger. He said it was flavorless the only thing that gave it flavor was the sauce. I had the 2 fish tacos. My tortillas was to crunchy for a flour tortilla and there was more batter then fish. The fries were really good.

Had dinner here last night. The restaurant itself is very nice! Casual, clean, spread out - not cramping as many seats in as you can - which was a nice touch! My server was wonderful! She gave great suggestions on the tap beers and explained the specials. Came to check on us several times! Super server!! The food was delicious. We had the burger special. Cooked perfectly. The fries and mashed potatoes were on point. My only disappointment was the host. He was drab and he had this sense that I bothered him. Talk with your hosts....he's not a good first thing to experience at a restaurant.

We stopped in Pike & Pint on the advice of my son. We decided to eat out on their coverd patio area. The outdoor space is amazing. Glass walls around the perimeter keep the breeze at bay and they have an outdoor bar area. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I had a virgin bloody that had great flavor and came will all the fixings. I had a Philly Beefsteak sandwich with coleslaw. The flavor was spot on and the bun was toasted to perfection. My wife had the fish tacos. She had the only small complaint, the fish was a little dry. Overall a great experience and I would visit again if back in Alexandria. Great job Pike & Pint.

Dined at Pike & Pint for the first time last Saturday and was blown away by how good the food and service was. I had a Ribeye that couldn't be beat (nicely marbled, cooked to order, perfectly seasoned). I recommend side orders of grilled asparagus and Yukon potatoes. Service was attentive but never intrusive, with drink refills arriving promptly. Wonderful experience overall. I'll be back again, next time to try the scallops. I highly recommended this place!

First time to La Ferme, even though I've lived in Alexandria for 6 years. The hospitality, food, and speed of service were all excellent. They mostly serve hot or cold sandwiches, soups, and salads. Everything was so fresh and I could tell they really live by the motto "farm to table" I know this will not be my only time dining here and plan on putting it into my rotation for local eateries.

I generally have a good experience here but this last time was completely mind boggling, the male bartender wasn’t even busy with anything and as soon as I sat down he went to the waitress who wasn’t working the bar and asked her to wait on me.
I’ve barely seen this guy or talked to him in the past at the bar and can’t understand why he wouldn’t do his job serving me and would ask someone else to.
It was very bizarre behavior.
And I could possibly understand if he were busy but he wasn’t busy at all.

Stopped here for a lunch. It's a pub with a bar. They had several beers on tap but didn't have one, too early. We had the Cubano sandwich and fries. Although it looked good it was too salty. Love the deco! Very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Had great Happy Hour specials. Food was delicious! We had a couple bourbon dishes... couldn't get enough!! We we're suggested to try this place out for drinks, pool and darts. The downstairs was set up for music pool darts and was pretty cool. Bartender was very nice. Upstairs had two sections one looked much more restaurant like and the other was more of a tavern/pub type feel. We did not get any food here. Everyone in our group said their drinks were not overly expensive. Very reasonable.

I ordered my favorite Garlic Salmon Dinner with sauted spinach.
When I ordered I asked for a salad with Ranch dressing to be brought out first.
I had to wave down Kaylee, my server, to get my water. When she brought it I had to ask again for my salad. She brought my salad, but I had to wave down the manager to get the Ranch dressing.
My Salmon was crusted with something but I couldn't taste any garlic.
Fresh spinach should only be cooked to order. Mine looked to have been sauted hours earlier and wilted, see photo.
My salmon was over cooked and dry.
Overall my dining experience was not good.
Should I ever have to come back to Alexandria, MN for my work, I will not be eating at Perkins.

At 9:55 finally asked the hostess/server who had been ignoring us from 3 feet away how late they were open. She said 11 but the kitchen closes at 10. That’s fair. We ordered a 16inch smokehouse brisket pizza on thin crust. The crust was underbaked and tasted like greasy dough. There was very few pieces of brisket on the pizza. The flavor profile of the pizza would have been very good if the execution of the details was better. We also got the garlic Parmesan wings and ordered ranch but got bleu cheese. We did takeout so we didn’t notice until we got home.
We should have taken a photo right away to show how many pieces of the pizza had only one small piece (or none) of brisket but we didn’t think of it in time.

My daughter and I sat on the patio over looking the lake. Such an amazing view i nearly forgot I was in the middle of the city. Beautiful flowers! Other patrons were upbeat and chatty, but not “noisy”.
The sweet potato waffle fries were delicious, and dipping them in the house ranch was amazing! (Forgot to take a photo.)
We ordered a 2topping pizza for just $10! Pepperoni and sausage. It was so much better than fast food pizza!! Brought home half. $25 including tip for two people with this view is a steal.

We were seated quickly and got water, which was promising… but then we entered the Service Twilight Zone. It took about 15 minutes before anyone came back for a drink order, and another 30 before anyone checked in again. So I was in The Alexandria neighborhood today. Figured i would stop in finally and check out this place called the depot. Seeing as this place has mixed reviews. Got to Interlachen around 5:15 without a reservation and fortunately they had one available table at the back. Seems like a very busy place due to the relatively small size of the restaurant and popularity. Our table started off with their version of fried pickles for an appetizer. They were definitely a hit with the pickle actually inside the deep fried shell stuffed with creme cheese. Ranch dressing provided for dipping. Soups including their chilli as well as clam chowder were very good. My side salad was OK but actually could have been a tick larger and had a tomato. Dressing was tasty and salad came with a warm hard roll that hit the spot. The table had entrees ranging from my 12 oz teriyaki ribeye to coconut shrimp and full rack of barbecue ribs. All were prepared to perfection and tasted great. Price point of dinners ranged from $27 to $32 which seemed to be very reasonable for quality and dining experience. Nice overall stay at Interlachen and would come back when in the area. The only negative thing I could think of is they have a number of quotes and pictures of celebrities on their walls. However, one of them comes from Bill Cosby who in my estimation should not be quoted in any establishment after all his very serious criminal charges. Might suggest this gets taken down. It's in the back where most people see it but we did and think it's in bad taste and somewhat offensive. Don't want it to spoil the visit that was relatively a positive one.

We visited here on a Thursday afternoon, my daughter and I. We were seated right away but had to wait a bit for someone to come over to get us started. We ordered onion rings and another appetizer to start. My daughter ordered the boneless wings, garlic Parm and Korean spicy. I ordered the Southwest salad. The rings and curds came out together which was nice. The rings were nicely fried and crispy but the other appetizer was soggy and grease soaked to the point we couldn't eat them. We called the waiters attention to this and we said we would be happy if they replaced it. They came back and said it wasn't the kitchen's fault and wouldn't replace them, that the oil was old and the day before it was changed. Except the onion rings came out perfectly. Thankfully they just took them off the bill. My daughter's boneless wings were really good with the garlic Parm being the better sauce of the two. My southwest salad was very good as well with a good amount of heat. We would definitely go back here but was a bit iffy on the disparate difference in the fried food. The server was decent and mostly took care of us.

I've never been disappointed with the food here, I've had to talk people into going here even though it's always been reliable. For a nice place like this one. I was disappointed with the half pound shrimp. They should be using 16/20 count.. my perceived value was not met. The oysters could be larger but was delicious. Atmosphere is first rate. Abbi our server attentive and knowledgeable. Abbi got a table of 20 and got in the weeds and her existing tables lacked an attentive server. We were very excited to try the Ramen and it was decent overall. The noodles and GF noodles were good. The eggs were perfect! The broth was good but lacked depth and was over salted.
The most disappointing part of this first time experience was the service. There were maybe 8-10 people there at lunch. It was not an enjoyable experience. Thankfully one waitress helped get the attention of our waitress to close our bill.
When one of our gift cards was declined the waitress did not explain why, only that there was “no button” to do the transaction. Then proceeded to invite us back for another meal and assure us the owner would be in at 2 to look at the button. We wanted to like this place but for $40 for two bowls of ramen and the service we got we won’t be going back. Oh and they charge a 3% credit card fee even if you don’t use that.

I did not expect to come all the way from CA to get Eclectic California Bistro food in MN, plus fried sunfish for a starter. Food was so good and menu so varied that it was quite a nice experience. We shared a Korean Sandwich. Others were really impressed with the adult grill cheese and soup special and the ramen bowls were popular too. Fries cooked perfectly and very nice bar menu too. Definitely recommend although service was a bit slow. There was a large lunch crowd on a weekday and lots of delicious looking platters of food coming out of the kitchen.

This Culver’s is normally good, however, I’ve never gotten an ice cream cone from here until today. Small is a generous description of how tiny it was. I understand I ordered a small, but for less money I can go to Casey’s and get a vanilla cone out of their self serve machine and pile it as high as I want, for less money. The ice cream didn’t even go down into the cone, it was just strictly cone to bite into after I got through the tiny scoop on top. The workers should be trained better on how to make ice cream cones, otherwise this is a good place to eat.

I had tainted French Fries. I only ate 4 & became very sick before I got out of the city limits in Alexandria. Had to pull the car over. Unfortunately I treated my dogs to them too & they also began vomiting 🤢

After telling her I was vomiting, her first question to me was, "Are you nauseated?" My response, "Really, I just told you I am throwing up in my car & we have pulled over twice." It has been more than 3.5 weeks.

We ventured in after looking for a breakfast place after typical breakfast hours, and BNC’s delivered! Not only did they accommodate my dairy intolerance, but they provided a meal that was positively amazing! The cinnamon French toast was perfectly done, not too sweet, with just the right amount of cinnamon, and my eggs were delicious. Hubby had a patty melt and was not disappointed with his portions. The crinkle cut French fries were amazing, crisp, not a bit oily, done to absolute fry perfection. Ordered food to go since I had to be on the road. I got fried steak with eggs and american fries. Nothing was seasoned. Not even a sprinkle of pepper. Everything is so bland. I also got 1 pancake. This pancake tasted like paper. Is was not good. On top of it all they did not give utensils or napkins. For my pancake there was no syrup. Not a place I will ever return or recommend to anyone. This place is for people that dont have any taste buds left.

Last week my Dad kindly brought me breakfast. Knowing my love of diner pancakes he knew I would be a fan of BNC from the first bite.
He was right. The moment I opened the container & saw the dinner plate sized pancakes I knew I was in for a treat. They were delicious! From first bite to the struggled last was a delight. They were fluffy and practically melted in your mouth. I struggled to finish both but I did not want them to go to waste. My Dad had the 2 egg sausage omelette with toast & I have never seen a fluffier omelette with so much sausage. I was able to wrestle a bite away & it was as I expected, delicious!
I can’t wait to visit & try more of what they have to offer. From what I’ve tried so far & from my dad’s reviews, BNC does not disappoint!
I would like to add that my father has been stopping in about once a week since my mother passed away in January & has said how kind everyone has been. The staff have even sat with him while he ate & I am so grateful for that!

I typically don't leave reviews for fast food cause they are all pretty much the same but this one was by far the worse I have been to.
First off the lobby was gross to say the least. Both garbage bins where overflowing. Most of the table looked like they hadn't been clean and you could skate on the floor.
Secondly it took 22 mins to get two large drinks which where a coke and sweet tea.
Now I can understand being backed up in orders because of the drive-thru or how many people are inside but that wasn't the case here. When we had entered the establishment there was not that many people inside nor too many in the Drive-Thru, but yet it still took 22 minutes to receive two large drinks. I honestly would never go back to this place.

Ordered & paid on the mobile app, set it to be picked up at the drive thru. Well, I get there and there was only 1 car behind at speaker. It took 30+ minutes to get from the speaker box to the first window. Finally make it to the 1st window only come to find out that they had already made my order and was told they may have given it to another customer and that I'll have to pull ahead to next window and wait. About another 25-30 mins later, I was able to leave with my food. I could only empathize with the staff because despite being completely swamped and severely under staffed, they were able to keep it cool, calm and collective & remained very positive & friendly the entire time. That isn't the easiest thing to do under pressure, so I definitely have to give them props! We've all been there! Just wanted to say thanks and it was much appreciated! If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered a kids meal and offered pop. Asked about chocolate milk or something better and was told regular milk.
That's fine.
I ordered 3 pieces of chicken..I asked for BBQ sauce.
Next ordered a Bacon cheeseburger and small fries.
The total was $23 plus, I was shocked so I asked if a combo meal would be better and the server (F) told me it would be more.
I had to wait on the kids meal and looked in the bag to make sure the rest was in there.
I didn't see BBQ sauce so I asked for that and a ranch.
I was rudely told that she put 2 of them in the bag so I only got one ranch.
When I got back to eat the meals I was impressed with the kids meal.. Chicken seems good sized.
My 3 strips were smaller than the 2 kids meal, no BBQ sauce and really disappointed.
This was at 4:53 PM Devin was the cashier.

Food is great. Hardee’s in Sauk Centre is the worst. Terrible food, dirt sediment in their ice. So needless to say I lost faith in Hardee’s, my fiancé and I went on a whim and tried Hardee’s in Alexandria and it was 10/10. Food was fresh, delicious and nicely put together. Workers were very friendly, and the place was clean.

Service was not good to put it politely. Our server was hungover or burned out from working all the hours they were telling everyone about. Never asked my wife what she wanted to drink and when they asked how everything was they walked away as she was asking for the ranch that she asked for when placing the order. Only came back to set down check. I think they were more interested in BS-ing with the regulars at the bar than tending to those at tables. We weren't the only ones left high and dry with no drink service. Food was ok.
