Waited an unanticipated amount of time to get check as well. She mentioned how busy they were but no food comin out of the kitchen. Bottom line: choose ANYWHERE ELSE in Cortez to eat dinner!

The meat looked the same (check the pictures!) the mashed potatoes were okay, the Broccoli was still the same - the chef didn’t even replace it! That’s a no-go! Although the drink selection was great and everyone was really nice, I don't know if its that they need more staff or just cut corners, but the pot pie was all frozen vegetables with hardly any chicken, our drink took 15 minutes, the house rolls (although appreciated) came after 20 minutes right before the entrees, and the soup came out after the main course. I wish we could move the restaurant to the Denver area so we could enjoy it on a regular basis.

She would make fun of customers, how they looked, how they were dressed, etc. I knew at that point she like to gossip and start drama. We had our own key in the deli for the trash and after the first 3 months I rarely could find it and have to go ask the front end store manager to go open the trash for me. About 6-7 months of being there this other girl Stephanie that worked in the deli told me Jodi didn’t like me and was intentionally taking the trash key to make things harder on me. I assume she didn’t like that I was half her age giving her tips and was more skilled and competent. One of my little brothers was also working at Safeway just in the Meat department, and another one of my little brother lived with me. At about 8-9 months of working there one of the front end managers Brandi told me that Jodi was saying I “have a weird relationship with my brothers” and saying that “she thinks I was sleeping with my brothers”! After that I talked to a few other coworkers, Stephanie, Brandi, Ed, and Don that all worked there at the time all confirmed and told me they had heard Jodi say that at one point, and that she stated that rumor not long after I started working there. I sat in Chris’ office and wrote a 2 page incident report, and I was told all 4 other employees wrote reports on Jodi for her bullying and harassment towards me. There is also a LOT of mold growing in the cabinet the cold salads and meat and cheese for slicing are kept in, I was the only person concerned about cleaning and bleaching it, the first time I cleaned under that cabinet was so bad, the mold spore fuzz ball’s we’re like 2” tall. I was charged full price, our bill was not split and we felt completely disrespected from the way our server acted. The food was mediocre at best. There was a hair inside our bread. The pasta was literally sopping in oil but the chicken was dryer and dry. For what I payed for this dinner, I am absolutely disgusted with our service and food. Let’s not forget that there were multiple people sat at another table cussing at the top of their lungs while there were children, elderly couples and other patrons present. This was ridiculous, I was excited to come eat here tonight. But if I’m judged for how young I am, how we look and get treated like we were annoying someone to do their job.
