The fresh truffle was subtle and delicious, not overpowering at all and the gnocci has probably the best I have ever had. I had the crispy salmon and overall really enjoyed the dish. Very well seasoned and the sauces were delicious. We could be improved: they bring you a few deep fried olives to start and it was a poor first impression because you could tell it had been sitting out as the breading was soggy and not crispy and honestly tasted a little bit stale. We ordered the bread and were underwhelmed because it wasn’t warmed or toasted - and for the extra $4 - it really should have been. My husband had the pork, and while it was cooked very well, it was under seasoned and the whole dish just felt like it was missing something. The desert was good. By the way, this masterpiece costs 28$. We asked for a quick chat with the manager but we’ve been told that he was gone already..( leaving your restaurant during dinner peak hours?! 😳) That’s a shame cause an Italian restaurant should allow our cuisine to be respected and appreciated from people than don’t know it yet and who loves it and wants to enjoy a delicious meal. Leading up to the event, we got to build our own menu, table map, and entire evening. When we finally received our salads the garden salad was bitter and the lettuce was WARM! We let those go to the side because we thought, surely the pizza would be good... NOPE WRONG THERE AS WELL!!! We ordered the Chicken and roasted red pepper with Goat Cheese Pizza, sounds yummy right! Well is was a MAJOR disappointment! We waited 20 minutes just for the pizza to come out and when it did come out... IT WAS THE WRONG PIZZA! The gave us an Italian Sausage with sun dried tomato pizza... We sent that back and it took probably 30 minutes for the CORRECT pizza to finally make it to our table. When we did finally get it the slices were not cut proportionally, there was grease DRIPPING off of it, and the chicken tasted old.... Needless to say we were NOT impressed and DO NOT recommend anyone go to this restaurant... Oh and I forgot to mention we had finished our water glasses and I counted the wait staff walk past us 6 times and we waiting about 8 minutes before we decided to ask for them to fill our glasses... Just typical pepperoni pizza. The restaurant is very big, 3 different areas for seating, including one outside that looks very nice. They also have an arcade room which was interesting. They have a dedicated parking lot which is great considering the area. The two slices that I ordered took about 10 minutes to prepare, but they weren’t just reheated. I guess they were made fresh and they were certainly very hot. The gentleman at the counter was nice enough, but clearly not familiar with basic customer service (smile, greet the customer, lots of thank yous, more smiling, etc.). It wasn’t a problem, but I find myself going back to places where I am treated well, even if the product isn’t superior to other places where I am not treated well. I wonder if other people feel the same way? If I had two suggestions, it would be for anybody that works at the counter to take an online customer service course and to add some spices to the pizza so that it’s not quite so plain. Again, it’s not a bad place, I recommend that you try it! Great atmosphere, and I’ve only had one item on the menu so the rest of it might be awesome. OK… Just go and see what you think. :)

While we really liked our pizza (more on that in a sec), we especially loved the other menu items we shared. The arancini are hearty and cheesy - more than most. They were pretty filling on their own and very tasty/crunchy. The eggplant parmesan rolls were absolutely delicious and delicate in a zesty sauce. The tagliatelle pasta in pesto was some of the most perfectly cooked pasta I've had in some time (my in-laws are Italian, so I'm familiar). The pizzas are larger and cheesier than most Neapolitan pies, which makes them more fork n knife pies - very floppy otherwise. We had the Casareta (I think) with house sausage and chopped broccolini. Very good! A busser mistakenly tossed our remaining pizza, but they apologized and immediately offered a full replacement pizza. A very courteous and professional response! We also enjoyed the mini canoli and coffee (Americano and latte) made to perfection by our very knowledgeable server. We found it to be worth the drive up from Ventura County for future visits!
