Brought my family here for a meal and it was 10/10.
The use of local Australian ingredients was nicely imagined. All the dishes had the right flavor and punch.
The service here was the highlight. The staff and servers were very welcoming, and when they saw that one of my daughters did not like the dish they came and offered to change up some of the ingredients and served the dish again.
The theater of the dining was also nicely incorporated into the three hour meal.
At the end of the meal, the chocolate cart was a favorite among my daughters.

First time dining at Attica, loved every minute of it. Love that it was able to accommodate a celiac (not all fine dining even at an equivalent price point do) wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Only regret is not remembering to take a photograph of the lasagna dish.
If I had to offer a critique (really splitting hairs) it maybe had a bit too many other diners but 1) I dined on a Friday and 2) even so not enough that it impacted my enjoyment that I would not want to come again.

After trying to get a table for a long time, my partner managed to get one for us for my birthday. We could not have had a better experience. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing and lived up to everything I had heard. Firstly the staff were super knowledgeable about all the elements of the food they were serving. Each bring their own unique character to the restaurant. Secondly the food was well balanced and attention to detail was exceptional. The whole meal was the most unique and memorable experience of my existence. I would truly recommend anyone who would like to experience their take on fine dining and a true food lover, artist would especially appreciate this opportunity. Lastly the ingredients they use focuses on traditional Indigenous Australian food that they have been using for centuries these foods I can almost guarantee 99% of Australians have not tried and I think it is important that we recognise our original ingredients and culture as this is a big part of our identity. I would highly recommend reading the Chef's Memoir: Use for Obsession as this will connect with what you're eating and understand of their story.

Attica was a very special experience. It was more than just a meal, it was more of an experience, where you are taken on a journey through their meals. The service was spot on, allowing ample time to enjoy each meal and rest in between. I had been wanting to dine at this restaurant for quite some time, largely because of its glowing reviews. We finally made it there last night to celebrate one of my wife’s personal achievements, expecting a memorable experience. While the venue, staff, and ambiance were lovely, the food quality and portion sizes were quite underwhelming.
We opted for the $135 per person set menu. Unfortunately, the dishes didn’t live up to the hype. The hummus was bland, I’ve had better from the supermarket. The Mount Zero chickpeas were watery and lacked flavour. The four grilled chicken wings served were tiny, and the Lebanese garlic dumplings were little more than floury clumps with no filling. The slow roasted lamb shoulder, meant to be shared among four adults, was closer to a single main portion you’d expect for one person at a decent restaurant. The first photo shows the main dish that was meant to be shared among four people surprisingly small for a $135 per head menu.
In total, we spent $650, but the experience fell flat and left us disappointed. Despite its reputation as one of Melbourne’s best restaurants, the food didn’t come anywhere near close to expectations. There are countless other places in Melbourne that can do far greater justice to Middle Eastern cuisine.

Maha is a fantastic dining spot in Melbourne, though it can be a little tricky to find at first – you need to head downstairs, and the entrance feels dark at a glance. Once inside, however, the space is always bustling with energy and a great vibe.

We had such a great experience at Soul Sister St Kilda! The food was absolutely delicious and came out really quickly. My partner had the sweet and sour pork, and I had the jungle noodles, both were super flavourful and fresh. I’ve been here twice in the last couple of months and would definitely come back. I’ve brought friends and family here because of the stand out vegan options and great selection of cocktails. I couldn’t have imagined that gluten-free food could taste so good! The Latin American menu is amazing, there are so many dietary options that include meats, vegan, egg free dairy free, gluten-free. Vibrant, warm and inviting atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff, flexible menus and very easy ordering and payment systems. Flashback to the time I booked this: I originally chose The Panama Dining, but unfortunately, Luke told me they were fully booked, so they suggested their other restaurant, The Feast of Merit. I had the pleasure of speaking to Jason, who has been so accommodating, as well as the restaurant manager, Skye. All communications were initially done by email until we went to dinner.
We went on site twice. The first was when we had to try and sit for a tasting menu because I chose this as my intimate wedding reception. We had the banquet menu. Everything was exceptional. Jamie was phenomenal and explained everything about the dish.
I was happy I chose it because of the ambiance and the accommodating staff (Jamie), who even showed us around the rooftop after we dined. They offered some ideas, like letting me borrow their easel, as well as advice to not overdo the decor because the rooftop is already filled with all the fairy lights and plants. I had an amazing experience.
During the reception, we were allowed to take photoshoots outside the location and to just be quick about doing them inside because they don’t want to disturb the customers who are dining. Rooftop upstairs has a different entrance and has a minibar; the toilets are all downstairs (no need to go inside the restaurant though).
The feasting menu that was chosen for our function was amazing. The entrees were appetising and made you want more; the main courses were the stars of the show; and the desserts were delectable. I was so happy that my guests enjoyed them as much as we did.
It rained towards the end of our event, but they have a huge, retractable roof that covers the entire area.
I highly recommend Feast of Merit and would like to extend my gratitude to their team, especially Jamie, Skye, Jason, Luke, and Lisa (I think? So sorry—I forgot the name of the person who served us during the night aside from Jamie—) for making my event successful. It is a perfect venue for something intimate, romantic, and memorable.

This was such an unexpected delight when we happened to walk in here on a Friday night. The staff are friendly, even when the place is packed and a line of people are waiting to be seated. They know the menu well and will accommodate where they can.
The fried chicken dish (can't recall the name of the menu) was the star of the 6 dishes we tried. It looked so unassuming on the menu but the flavours were amazing.
They have a rooftop terrace for dining which we'll be back to try out in summer.

The coffee here is good and it's a nice space but the food for the price is nowhere near worth it. Id been here before and enjoyed the food even if the portions were small-ish. Years later I've come with my partner to show her and she got the shakshuka (called Menemen on the menu) and I got the "ravioli". The shakshuka was good but overpriced for eggs in tomato with veg and herbs. The broccolini ravioli was unfilled pasta (ie. not ravioli) which I was warned about but trusted it would be good regardless. It came out covered in sloppy yogurt and a pool of oil (!) which was allegedly paprika butter. At this point I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, reasoning that it was more of a share plate or that I'd missed something because it tasted a bit simple, but after eating it to try and get our money's worth both my partner and I had to leave it unfinished and felt really unwell for the rest of the day. I'd recommend the st Ali coffee here but the food is generally overpriced and after my experience I'd be inclined to call it a scam. No self-respecting chef would even serve what we got, let alone charge $25 for what is essentially dough, yogurt and melted butter or oil - I posted a photo so you can see my meal. Complete disappointment and actually a terrible experience. The stars are for the coffee and the service.

What we had:
Summer special virgin Bloody Mary Shack smoothie is a must try, it’s not too spicy but very very refreshing to drink this on a hot summer day.
Mango shack smoothie is very filling and tasty and all their smoothies have nut milk.
Shrooms on toast is perfect for mushroom lovers, with the whipped feta was amazing on the toast and the balsamic reduced sauce was very fresh and yum. Highly recommend
Peanut butter açai bowl was very decadent and delicious loaded with so much of fruits and berries and generous serving of peanut butter. Must try.
They are very busy on weekends and we noticed it is a locals’ favourite spot for smoothies. And after trying their smoothies, I can see why. The service is prompt and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly folks.
The cafe itself has a very Byron bay charm since they originated there. And you will have a good time here.

Insanely good for a nice night out. Very busy, but friendly service, and the food? Amazing. Everything was so fresh and flavourful and delicious. The tiramisu was probably the best dessert I have EVER enjoyed-- unfortunately I couldn't finish it because of the previous courses which were HUGE and absolutely divine.
I'm vegan, so was here for obvious reasons, but would definitely encourage people who aren't to enjoy a meal here: the food reminds me of the higher end restaurant Italian food my family used to go out for when I was a kid. I doubt a lot of people would even notice it's plant based.
Thoroughly loved it and can't wait for another special occasion where I can introduce someone else to this gorgeous place.

I was so excited to find out this is 100% plant-based Italian! 🤩 Can’t imagine how hard it is to keep the classic flavours without meat—but they nailed it. Everything was super tasty, especially the cheesecake—smooth, fluffy, with salty caramel crunch. Service was friendly too.

Hardware lane is a curious mix of charm and trap. It seems the majority of restaurants have a host, right as you step in, or at times, just as you pass by an entrance.
So long as they're not unashamedly trying to commondeer patronage from the street, it's alright. The scourge of spruikers is hopefully extinguished in this era. It really is a bothersome nuisance, if trying to find somewhere for the first time, being unceremoniously accousted by an over zealous person, whom takes the autonomy of a decision away from you.
Tartufo's host was set back a bit and will politely engage once you enter the venue. I feel that in such a crowded space, and with limited shop frontage, Tartufo could do well with a small illuminated sign of the restaurant out front.
Inside, you'll find a small little nook of a restaurant, cosy, but space can be challenging. A few outdoors tables semi to be the drawcard in the winter months, as patrons watch the hustle and bustle of CBD life as it passes by. For winter, Inside is best.
Nothing much to fault here, all within keeping of good restaurant standards, from the sequence of service, to dining and decor.
The Napoli sauce, at the heart of many dishes, isn't too acidic, and has the right amount of salt. You won't find a thin watered down version here. The pasta does seem to be cooked to Aussie's tastes, but by no means in a bad way. It still holds it's form, though, I did find it clumped together slightly.
The venue itself doesn't seem to loud or jarring, a positive when the culture reflects a dining occasion. The venue itself is quite pleasant inside.
Personally, I think Amaro is on the rise, and am glad to see a few options on the drinks list. The drinks/wine list is composed well, despite my breif glance at it. The venue here serves better as a place to dine, rather than one for a few drinks.
Sorbet would be a great addition to the summer time menu, as would a Sgroppino!

Nice atmosphere, it was a shame we were stuck outside. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The food was a bit hit and miss. The papadelle with mushroom sauce was wonderful. Made with vegan calamari, rocket, and capsicum.
Honestly impressive. As a meat eater, I found the vegan calamari surprisingly close to the real thing. Probably made with konjac, but the texture and seasoning were so well done you wouldn’t really notice.
- Contorni: Insalata rucola e pere
The pear made this salad super fresh and crisp which is perfect with the heavier pasta.
The vegan parmesan was interesting. Not as rich as real parmesan, but still pretty solid.
- Primi: Spaghetti Carbonara
A bit salty, but very close to what I had in Italy.
My partner got to try his first-ever carbonara here. Pasta was cooked just right, sauce was thick and rich, recommend eating it with the salad to balance out the salt.
- Dolci: Pannacotta ai frutti di bosco
Not sure if this was the one, but it was a panna cotta-like dessert topped with berry sauce.
You can tell it’s not made with dairy, but honestly very close. Berries were fragrant and not too sour.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Really solid vegan Italian restaurant. They take allergies and dietary needs seriously, which we appreciated.
Only downside: our order got missed, so we waited about 30-35 mins after the first entree before mains came out.
Other than that, everything was great.

Hands down one of the best vegan meals I have ever had in my life.
Atmosphere and decor were amazing, our waiter Earl was really friendly and attentive and the food was next level.
We had the skewers for entree, the shared BBQ platter for main and the chocolate tort for dessert. Every dish outdid our expectations on every level. My mother-in-law who is not vegan dined with us and she was really impressed with the quality of the dishes too.

Our first visit to Lona Misa was a definite 5 stars a few years back! Flying back to Melbourne this weekend and being our Anniversary - Lona Misa was my first pick, but unfortunately our second visit didn’t live up to the first (3 stars).
While the wait staff were lovely and being a Saturday night I understand you need to turn tables, however I felt we were being rushed through our dinner (with plates being taken without us fully finishing ). This along with our Anniversary being forgotten (apart from a small spoken acknowledgment towards the end of our dinner) made us feel unwelcome and we didn’t feel we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. Tables either side of us were still there after we left even though they had arrived before us which was confusing. I think even a small gesture such as writing “happy Anniversary” in chocolate on our dessert plate would have gone a long way - this was something that had been done for us on our first visit celebrating a birthday.
As for the food, we felt it was presented and put onto the plate without care/rushed (the entrees especially). The portions seemed smaller than our last visit but perhaps this is due to the rise in costs of things? We did love the Lions Mane dish - this was definitely the highlight of the dinner and would definitely recommend! The tres leches cake was tasty however I feel it could have been presented better for the price.

The food was absolutely amazing – 10/10! However, the service was quite slow.
When we arrived, we were seated and served water, but no menus. A couple who arrived after us was given menus first by our waiter, Lily. We waited another three minutes without menus and eventually had to ask for them ourselves.
We ordered two drinks – mine arrived first, but after 15 minutes, the second drink was still missing. We had to flag down another staff member, who then realized the drink had been forgotten.
The food itself took a while to arrive, but it was well worth the wait – absolutely delicious! However, when we ordered dessert, it took over 30 minutes to arrive, which was surprising since most desserts are usually ready to serve and the restaurant wasnt even full.
Additionally, when Lily cleared our plates, she didn’t ask if we wanted dessert—we had to request it ourselves. The staff could definitely benefit from better training and a more attentive approach to service.
Overall, the food was incredible, but the experience would be much better with quicker and more professional service.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food, with really good recommendations. We had the 5 share plates, and highly recommend the papaya fritters (which were recommended by our waitress).
The only criticism I have, is that it took a while for our meals to be served. We had one brought out, then had to wait ~20mins for another two to come out in quick succession, then wait a ~20 mins for the next two to come out in quick succession. I wasn't sure if this was planned, but I was expecting the food to be delivered almost at the same time. However, I acknowledge it was a very busy night for the staff.

Visited the restaurant for a "bottomless dinner" with a big group. Even though the food was great, I do not recommend it for bigger groups.
They seemed unprepared, with only one staff member taking orders, which took ages for a big group. The gentleman taking orders was also very short and a bit rude, making faces at us.
The space was very cramped, even though the restaurant was mostly empty for most of the night. I assume the reserved area is small, but it was very hard to fit the entrees, foods and everyone. We were constantly bumping into each other while trying to eat.
Drink orders were disorganised as well. For one of the guests, it took three "rounds" of waiting and asking for her to get her drink. They were tasty, but very watered down.
Our booked time was 4:30pm, but the staff only took our order (food and first drink) around 5pm. Entrees also arrived around 5, and the main dish was between 5:20-5:30pm.
So even though the food was delicious, the restaurant did not seem prepared to serve a big group, even though we made the reservation weeks ago. So I'd strongly suggest visiting in small groups, either walk in dinning or bottomless.

It’s a lovely restaurant with great food - I ordered a pasta dish which was very delicious and filling while my friend got pizza. There was a wide range of cocktails and we both tried three different drinks which were all well-made and tasty. This is not "authentic" Italian cuisine. My pasta dish was all clumped together and the pasta itself tasted like playdoh. No complimentary bread or parmesan as stated on the menu. When we arrived, the waiter just pointed to a table and said "that table there" and was so rude, no greeting, no smile. We sat waiting for someone to take our order but no one did so had to order using the QR code, which took ages. Our food came out really fast so obviously no effort put into the dishes at all. My food was disgusting and couldn't finish it. This restaurant is huge, but all diners were seated in one area all close together. All of the other tables were groups of 10+ and we were a table of 3, so we couldn't hear each other talking. Our salt and pepper shakers were greasy too, which is gross because it was 12pm lunch booking, so obviously they hadn't been cleaned after dinner service the night before. This restaurant is nothing more than a gimmick chain restaurant with no passion for the food or the dining experience, especially for the price. Will not be going back. Not that this venue would even care since they get the CBD lunch crowd and none the wiser tourists.

Possibly the best value for money restaurant around when you take into consideration the quality of the food. The bao buns are a stand out, as is the shaking beef. Such a charming, cool, vibey atmosphere! Not only do you feel like your stepping into a trendy dimly lit cosy restaurant- but you also greeted by the most friendly staff. Our waiter was so amazing. He really displayed what true hospitality looks like. Not only was he super helpful at making recommendations to suit all our dietary needs - but he also gave us pre warnings of things that might be spicy (without us even asking- hallelujah!!!! Can all places please do that!!). I went against his recommendation and got the chicken vermicelli noodle salad- and it was very simple (but nice!). My friend got the XAO chicken noodles which he recommended and they were soooo tasty! Almost like a pad see ew. i had a friend who is allergic to fish sauce (i know, why did we bring him here right), but our server was amazing and they helped mark what we couldn’t get.
the southside wings were AMAZING. so juicy and well marinated, i truly loved it. we also got the sichuan style lamb skewers and the saigon baos. the skewers were very well seasoned and the baos were really good too (i love a good and fresh bao bun).
for mains we got the vietnamese salad, pork belly with apple slaw and bo kho. we also got the veggie spring rolls as a side.
the salad was very refreshing and they were very generous with the portion! the pork belly was melt in our mouth tender and the bo kho was very well cooked too, i loved the sauce. the spring rolls were delish as well.
i know straight outta saigon is pretty hyped but i enjoyed my time here and would not mind coming back! also the cocktails are great. we got the espresso martini and yakuzu and they were both delish!

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Melbourne. We started with the caviar oysters, absolutely unreal, and finished with the steak which was cooked to perfection. Every single thing on the plate felt thoughtful and properly done.

Had an incredible dining experience at Eureka 89! We went for the Signature 8-Course Tasting Menu and every single dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious from the first bite of the starter all the way through to dessert. The balance of flavours and creativity in each course made it a memorable evening.

We had a lovely dining experience at Eureka 89. We opted for the “Altitude Dining Experience “. Three courses of beautifully presented food. Portion sizes were small, but I guess that’s the expectation of fine dining.
We enjoyed Hiramasa Kingfish, Sugarloaf Cabbage for entrees, followed by Black Angus Beef Fillet. Desert was a Cheesemonger selection and Chocolate Parfait. Food was so delicately prepared and tasted amazing.

Food was awful we were unable to finish the chicken wing we paid an extra $5 for which the waitress upsold to us. Unable to finish the Taco nor the nachos. The taco bread was not nice. We ordered the “feed me” menu and that is absolutely what happened. We got fed. In fact we got fed so well we didn’t think we would be able to eat again.
A fun and casual dining experience. The food was delicious and hearty and very very well portioned. Be sure to bring your feed bag if you order the “feed me” menu.
The churros and dulce de Leche were amazing. I may or may not have drank a bit of the dulce de Leche just on its own.
Their Riesling and Pinot Grigio are both delicious.

Absolutely loved this cafe! The vibe of the place is super relaxing and welcoming. Their signature chai was insanely good - it’s officially the best chai I’ve had. It’s so good, and the prices were super reasonable too.
Came here on a weekday afternoon, it wasn’t crowded, people were coming in steadily, the vibe was chill, and food came out pretty fast. Quiet, relaxed spot for lunch.
We tried:
- Bean curd dumplings
Never seen this before! Soft tofu skin wrapping dark leafy greens. Very light in flavor, but unique. I recommend adding some of the chili and vinegar on the table. The chili isn’t spicy, but really fragrant (like roasted chili flakes).
- Braised pea sprouts with mushrooms
Loved this one! Seasoned just right, not too salty, not too plain. I usually don’t like leafy greens, but this changed my mind.
Only thing is the leaves were a bit long, kinda hard to eat in one bite.
- Veg wontons in spicy sauce
Not really spicy, but super flavorful. Wontons were a bit chewy, not mushy, which I liked. The wrapper’s quite firm, so make sure to coat it well with the sauce or it feels a bit dry.
- Braised tofu with mushrooms
From the menu photo, we thought it’d be a dry dish, but it came in a pot full of sauce. Really tasty and goes great with rice.
Honestly, we ordered too much. If you're coming with one other person, I’d say: one veggie, one tofu/protein dish, and maybe a snack or dumpling to share, that’s plenty.

I love coming here for a good vegetarian meal; was in fact here twice in a month recently! Their sweet and sour pork is absolutely outstanding, and most dishes that I’ve ordered here are delicious too. The chefs here know how to balance flavours and textures with just the right amount of juiciness. The service is also friendly and kind.

Had a wonderful meal at Mr Ramen San. Located in an arcade off Little Bourke Street, is an authentic Japanese ramen place. We had the gyoza which was perfectly cooked with a bit of crunch. Lovely spot for a date night or to go play some pool, atmosphere was very nice and service great, even too fast! I was looking forward to their burgers because of a friend recommendation. We tried the beef burger which I found it very dry and below average, while I enjoyed quite much the chicken one, very tasty. My absolute favorite were the poutine fries though, would be back just for those. I was rather surprised they have only wood cutlery and no plates at all, which rendered rather hard to share as burgers are served in the paper containers. Overall it wasn’t bad but neither as I expected.
May go back to a redeem for their burgers and perhaps to spend a little more time in their nice indoor area.

A tucked away place that felt like back home. We made the right decision by ordering three 'mains' to share between the two of us, and even then I was debating adding on their poutine and pie of the day. I'm still salivating and wanting more because the burger bun was perfect and the chicken strips were juicy and the drinks came as quick as we ordered them. The pool table was free to play on a Monday night and the music fit the vibe. Sit by the fire, the bar, the back room, or the two patios outside for whatever you're after. I loved it.

I come here quite often and have always loved it (the chicken is bangin).
But the last time the short curly haired woman was so incredibly rude . Not only did I see her talking poorly to staff , she also refused to let us keep the heater on - even though it was late in the evening . It was only me and my 4 friends in the area and I was freezing . She marched over , turned it off and told us it was too warm for the heater , when I said I was cold she told me to move inside, it’s not all about me , and other people are wearing T-shirts .
There was literally no other people in the area (see photo) .
The group of 4 of us ended up leaving after our drink finished instead of staying for a few more as planned .

Love this place. The salads are all vegan, fresh and full of flavour.
The falafels are tasty and crunchy. The dips are delicious. The only negative is the flatbread is pretty dry as they warm it up in the microwave.
We always leave with a full belly and a big smile. The owners are very friendly and generous.

I dined at Luci last night with my partner to celebrate a special occasion. While the evening started well, it quickly turned into a frustrating experience.
We upgraded our main course from lamb to beef tenderloin for $15 each, but when the dish arrived, we found a piece of rubber inside the beef. I brought it to the waiter’s attention, and she returned it to the kitchen. When she came back, we were informed that the chef dismissed it as “nothing serious” and simply removed the rubber without replacing the dish. Mistakes happen, and I was willing to overlook this.
However, when we resumed eating, we found another piece of rubber inside the beef. We reported this to the waiter again, who spoke to the manager, but shockingly, the manager didn’t bother to come over or address the situation at all. Ignoring such a serious issue is unprofessional and shows a lack of care for customer safety and satisfaction.

We visited Luci in Hilton on 02/08/25. Firstly, as per the location, the venue is excellent - you are welcome into a grandiose, large, albeit rather empty restaurant. (Our seating was for 6pm). The staff were welcoming and lovely.
This is what we ordered:
- Roasted carrot & miso tartlet (horseradish cream, mizuna) $8 each
- 250g O'Connor grain fed sirloin (sherry glazed pear, leek, jus) $59 ✨
- Potato gnocchi (butternut squash purée, kale, oyster mushroom, goats curd) $35
Regarding the food, the gnocchi and tartlet were quite average - there were just no tastes that were particularly special. However, the tartlet shell was nice and crisp, and executed well. The sirloin was lovely - particularly paired with the glazed pear, it was a highlight dish.

We probably would not rate its worth as a 5-star place without the discount on our food. But grateful nevertheless for the chance to try out Luci!

For my first ever meal in Melbourne, this place is truly exceptional. My girlfriend and I ordered the Truffle Pasta and Limited Ham and Cheese Pizza. They were so good and priced just right. We recently dined at A25 and were left a little underwhelmed. The Pappardelle Porcini pasta was tasty enough, but ultimately felt pretty average – missing that extra depth or flair you’d expect from a dish with such a rich, earthy profile.
We also tried the San Daniele and Doppio Salame pizzas, which unfortunately arrived warm rather than hot, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The flavours were fine but not particularly memorable, especially given Melbourne’s strong competition in the pizza and Italian space.

Amazing service and tasty food!! This was our first Indian restaurant in Melbourne and we were so impressed.
They cooked our curries to perfection - we asked for medium spice and it was bang on. We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala & Butter Chicken, with Basmati Rice & 2x Garlic Naans, along with a Street Style Loaded Samosa. The prices were incredibly reasonable and although the atmosphere was quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our server was a young woman whose hospitality service was great, she was so attentive and made sure we were having a great experience. The gentleman (maybe the owner or manager?) was friendly too.

The staff are always super lovely and the ambiance is nice and relaxed.
The food is really flavourful and there’s a good mix of dishes from different cuisines. The Crunchy Vegetable Salad is really nice and refreshing and the Creme Brûlée is delicious - very classic.
The Entree+ Main/Main+Dessert for $33 is such good value! Prices are very fair, especially compared to what else is in the area, and the quality is fantastic, so I can see why they’re always busy no matter the time of day!

We came for a work function and even though the pizza shop was quite small, it really felt like you were in a unique restaurant in Italy. You could tell other diners were regulars and our group, even though quite rowdy, slotted right in.

The pasta with lamb shank ragu had a lot of lamb pieces, with ragu (meet, onion, tomato, red wine) and cheesy base, the pasta was kind of chewy. Could taste the flavor of every ingredient in sauce. Not very outstanding, but definitely up to the bar.
The truffle and mushroom pizza had white sauce as base and the smell of roasted mushroom was fabulous. The truffle was not strong and added its taste as aftertaste, suitable for those who may not be big fan of truffle.
The Canguro pizza had a tomato base, sweet snd sour in nature, with slightly more sour taste compared to usual pizza. The kangaroo salami was easy to have as it had no strong flavour or taste as the kangaroo meat. The overall mixture of taste was less rich compared to the special mushroom truffle pizza.
Two pizza doughs were full of smell of its natural ingredient, the texture was chewy but light. The crust was even less thick than the usual ones. The sauce completely soaked the dough that made every bite of dough savoury. Wet on top, dry at the base.
There was self made chilli oil at the table. The oil was light with little spicy only. Compared to the usual chilli oil, it was more liquid and less heavy to dip, it had a garlic flavor that add a refreshing taste to the food.
Total $106 in cash for 3 people. Definitely worth a comeback for its pizza.

Made a reservation an hour before we went and was seated inside (Saturday night). It wasn’t overly busy as we arrived (6pm) but was almost full as we left 45 minutes later.
Ordered the Di Parma due to it being their award wining pizza, along with the Salame pizza and some Italian beers. The Di Parma pizza was fantastic, quality ingredients, big flavours, and I like how the prosciutto was served on the side. Total bill for 2 pizzas and 2 beers was $88. I will be back for more pizza.

Incredibly delicious. Classic, authentic and absolutely packed with flavour!
Such a fantastic array of dips to choose from and the warm bread is addictive. Everything was delicious but the standouts of the whole experience were the Manti. and, unexpectedly, the Lentil Soup! There was a slight mix up with the mains (ordered the Doner Kebab and was given the Adana - an easy misunderstanding to have on a loud and busy night) but we were happy enough to try the Adana. Also got the lamb shish kebabs which were so beautifully tender and just melted in the mouth.
The space can get a bit loud (hence the possible order confusion) but the place has a fantastic aesthetic with great mood lighting.
Would absolutely go again, so many things left on the menu to try - especially the Doner Kebab!!!

Not the best photos - but the absolute best feed. The chips are amazingly salted and the Schnitzel wrap is beyond filling. The bread was so fluffy and was so authentic to Israeli food. The service here is the best! Matthew and Ben were very friendly and go above and beyond to cater to each customer. In Melbourne, I've at last discovered a blend of Indian Continental and American food with the chef's sense of culinary art. Why not give Burger Shurger a try and experience their delectable expertise?
We were warmly welcomed as we began with their freshly prepared Chicken Momos, which were served with the perfect blend of garlic chutney. The butter chicken loaded fries came next, which were incredibly flavorful and a wonderful fit for anyone who likes to enjoy crispy fried chicken with a flavorful sauce.
Later, we tasted the Mighty Butter Chicken Burger and Masala Maggi, which won us over because they were among the finest main courses available. We were being served by the owner, who made such suggestions and took care of the plating to the highest standard.
Another highlight of the day was Kunafa Rasamalai, a palate-pleasing dish. It had an excellent balance of sweetness thanks to the fragrant and light flavors of pistachio and rose petals and the addition of Indian Rasamalai cakes. That is one of the items that is strongly recommended.
In addition to their excellent food, the staff provided prompt service. Even though we were the last customers of the day, they treated us well and delivered everything we needed, which is something we have never experienced anywhere. We feel more comfortable recommending this restaurant to others because the owner was kind and patient with us as we struggled with which flavors would suit us best. The cuisine was of the highest quality and was handy.

The place is nice and cozy. We started with entrees and ordered butter paneer chips and veg momos and they were very tasty. The gravy on top of the chips was very flavourful.
Then we ordered cauliflower Bao buns and Mrs 65 burger with paneer and they were both amazing. I was very impressed with Cauliflower Bao buns. Full marks for the innovation and getting it right.
Lastly we ordered Rasmalai and Masala Chai Creme Brulee. Both were average but others might like it.
They have a good selection of drinks too. We tried a couple of cocktails and they were very good.

Like their Biriyani Arancini is over the top, must try, and I absolutely loved the flavours in it. Next up, butter chicken masala loaded fries which are perfect for butter chicken lovers. Once again really awesome dish, that made me fell in love with this place.
Also their chole pita and goat pita was two extraordinary delicacies from their menu. For those can handle spicy food, definitely order the goat pita, it’s super addictive and very tasty. Whereas the chole pita is incredibly comforting to eat and it’s not spicy at all. Loved both.
Crab burger and fish burger are a must try here, non spicy, yet packed with flavours, both the fish and the crab were super crispy and tender. Highly recommend.
Shaitani mojito, aam panna margarita, and Indian bride cocktails were so superb, very refreshing and even had delish flavours in it. Must try.
Masala chai crème brûlée is next level divine, the chai flavour is not too intense but perfectly balanced with the crème brûlée. Loved it.
Kunafa Rasamalai is a refreshing, aromatic and very delectable dessert, which isn’t too sweet but has lovely rose and pistachio flavours in it. Highly recommend.
Besides their incredible food, the service is very prompt even on busy weekends, also the staff and the owner are such wonderful, friendly, helpful and very welcoming folks. The prices are pocket friendly and very reasonable and the quality of the food is really amazing.

We go to Burger Shurger regularly for dinner and to say that we have always loved the food would be an understatement. The whole concept of fusion Indian food is a delicacy in itself. We have always enjoyed the food and the service and have had several occasions where we spoke to the owner and she's really switched on with the buisness and the innovation in her recipes. The menu caters for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike and there's plenty of out of the box recipes which will leave your taste buds craving for more. Would highly recommend to try this place if you already haven't.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the pizza options, I feel that some variation of a chicken pizza or a standard vegetarian could be a good addition to the menu. I recently celebrated my birthday at Farro, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Lily, the events coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. She was so lovely, helpful, and patient, answering all my questions and ensuring that every detail was covered. She made sure that everyone’s needs were catered for.
The actual evening was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was really impressed by how well Farro catered to our vegetarian and gluten-free guests. I don't know what other customers got when they ordered gluten free but what I got was inedible. Flat, hard, stuck to the box like glue, impossible to bite through, looked raw or like it sat on the bench for 3 days first. When I called the shop to ask for a new pizza or refund they wouldn't assist and argued that everyone else likes it. They wouldn't accept a photo and insisted I inconvenience myself more and bring it back after they already had me wait 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be cooked. Sub standard customer service and inedible gluten free pizza 👎

Felt obliged to write a review. The generosity shown from the staff at Shemesh pizza was unprecedented. We received 6 free delicious pizzas for our function at Beit Chabad. The pizzas were just perfect, thin and tasty and none of that oiliness that makes you feel bloated afterwards. Once again, so grateful for the staff at Shemesh Pizza, i plan to revisit myself and would highly recommend to anybody. They also have a jazzy set up inside where you can sit and enjoy your meal.
