But things have really changed. The prices keep going up, yet the facilities feel old now. The balcony door makes so much noise, and the food choices have gotten noticeably fewer. I was especially excited for the breakfast, but it ended up being really disappointing. RM108 for the breakfast, but as you can see from the photo, the beef bacon was so dry and overcooked, it tasted like wood. It’s not what you expect from a buffet. You choose your food at one of the market stall themed windows and the food is then prepared fresh & delivered to your table. The staff and chefs are lovely, especially Johari at Sabah Veg who made me TWO plates of fried veg with garlic, which was the best plate(s) we had all evening, which is saying something as there is a fantastic offering of meat & seafood dishes too. Not only that but his personal service was incredible! Remembered our exact order and went above and beyond to come and find us to check we were enjoying our meal!
