Lovely meal for my mothers 60th birthday last night, food was really good. Especially the pasta and pie, with tasty starters. Slight negative, the steak was very chewy and gristly but it’s minor because overall we had a fabulous evening. Customer services was very good, polite lady who served us. On arrival we were shown to our booked table but not given menus or asked about drinks. After waiting 30 minutes, one of us went to the bar to ask what was happening, only to be told we were seated in a self-serve area (something we hadn't been told at the start). I pre booked a table due to being a party of 5. (Good thing I did as it was very busy for midweek). We were seated promptly, and water was also offered, which arrived in nice glasses with ice and a slice of lemon. Our drinks order was taken while we checked out the menu. Plenty of options for all. I went for the duo of pork with scallops. Food arrived, it was well presented and tasted great. Very rare to find somewhere that can cook scallops well, so thank you to the chef! We all opted for the mini desert and coffee. I had the lemon tart, which was nice (pastry was a bit soft) but the lemon zing was good. Service was prompt, friendly and welcoming. The staff go above and beyond to make your visit there super bespoke. What I loved was the fact that they really look after their guests, especially being suoer considerate regarding dietary requirements. This made my evening as it was so helpful and made me feel really relaxed and at ease knowing that I will come out of there feeling absolutely fine. I got the turmeric iced chai latte, which I absolutely LOVED, really lovely. For food, I got the soup of the day; carrot and coriander. Why did I choose to come here? Well... me n my wife have had a lot going on recently work , family and general life taking over. We both needed some very much down time and come to a place and relax for a bit and enjoy each other's company and embrace a lovely meal and spend time together. The initial call a very warm welcome conversation I knew this would be the place.to come. On arrival although a tad early b4 our time we were welcomed in with open arms. As we sat at secluded romantic setting just the 2 of us, we were offered our drinks and menus and recommendations never having tapas before we were very humbled and took there advise. We had the share platter for 2 accompanied by a few dishes that we wanted to try that was recommended. Wow !!! Compliments to the kitchen absolutely beautiful food!! To finish with a special recommendation a chocolate martini to finish an amazing end to the evening, boi these are to die for!! We were very well looked after with our visit to point we want to return and will be sharing our experiences with others. I could give a 6 star rating if I could. Thank you Ten Bottles!!! The buses stop directly outside to Bournemouth. There was a lovely little farmers market on the square one day. It is a very old building, so obviously some creaky floors and old fixtures are expected in the rooms. The food was well presented and tasted really good. Separate upstairs space presumably for private parties too. Service was polite but a little scatty. At times we were forgotten. No one mentioned there were no carbs included with adult mains and we might want some rice or some such! Main was a little sweet for me, but possibly that would have been balanced by aforementioned rice! Children's food was good value and spot on. We were even more delighted to find it was free since it was school holidays. Good wine selection and we enjoyed a nice glass each, again fairly priced.

Karen, Andrew, and the team were warm, relaxed, and made everything feel effortless. The BBQ was delicious, with locally sourced beef, and I was able to bring my own prosecco with a small corkage fee—such a lovely touch. The venue itself is beautiful: a cosy barn-style interior and a spacious outdoor area where we spent most of the afternoon in the sunshine. There’s a river at the end of the garden, plenty of space for kids to play, and room to sit and relax. We were never rushed, everything was well taken care of, and we even had live music. I felt truly looked after and completely at ease. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It gave me memories I’ll cherish forever.

Warmly greeted on arraival and shown to our table, which also seemed to show off the tardis like nature of the place, seemings bigger than the outside would suggest. A good range of ales as well as low to no options. The sunday menu is pretty much geared towards a traditional Sunday Lunch. Orders were taken and starters delivered within a reasonable time, the staff were attentive and the time between starters and mains pretty much bang on. The portions were generous, but not excessively so. I do have to mention the quality of the meat, excellently prepared and with a wonderful, thick, tasty gravy to pour over it and into the Yorkshire, top draw. The location is beautiful, very cosy pub, dogs are welcome and we had a nice table in the corner for more comfort and peace. We usually have a fantastic meal here, have been many times over the years. We are absolutely not ones to send food back every but had to send two out of four dishes back. We would have sent it all back but we were too embarrassed. The mixed starter was like something you’d get in a box from Iceland. The noodles were dry and chewy. The sizzling chicken was not sizzling, and it was so so dry. The egg friend rice was also dry - I’m not even sure how that’s possible. We were sat next to the kitchen and could hear the microwave going, which explains a lot. Most of the staff were ok, but they didn’t exactly leave you feeling warm and fuzzy. Only one at the end apologised for the poor meal. They also didn’t have any of the wine left that we ordered but that’s not that bad. But was just another thing on top of an all round terrible meal! However on my visit if I was not dining with someone else I would have sent the food back to the kitchen. We ordered the Spring rolls, satay chicken skewers and beef ribs as starters. The ribs and chicken where dry and tough as old boots. The satay sauce was thin, runny and bland. If I served that to my guests at home I'd be embarrassed. My meal was the beef in black bean. The green peppers where raw and no other vegetables like mushrooms or tenderstem broccoli. I had ample beef but my friend who had a chicken curry only had about 4 pieces of chicken in his meal and I felt bad enough to share my meal with him. We both agreed this food had been thrown together. The Mojito cocktail tasted like water and had 2 bits of limp mint at the bottom and I just had to send it back. 😢😢

He was only too happy to help. They put on a fantastic buffet for us, set aside a space for us and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The garden takes you right down to the river and it is idyllic. The staff are friendly and really want to do their best for you, but when we went it all felt a bit shambolic. Our waitress was lovely but clearly overworked. Doing the best she could waiting on most of the tables. The food was good but how do you run out of horseradish sauce at any time, let alone a Sunday? My partner ordered an ale when we arrived and it had gone off. The bartender changed his pint and said he would change the barrel. Later my partner ordered a second pint - the barrel hadn't been changed and it was awful. Yes they changed his drink again, but why were they still serving from the old barrel? Went to the loo and the hand soap had run out - it happens - I let a member of staff know. When we left 2 hours later there still wasn't any hand soap. Overall the food was nice but average and took at least 30 minutes to arrive. If you're charging £23 for a roast dinner it should be good, really good. Will we go back? What should have been a lovely evening celebrating a birthday was completely ruined by this establishment. The food arrived over an hour late, was missing parts of dishes and what did arrive was pretty much inedible. The situation was made even worse when my mum, on the way to the bathroom, overheard the manager speaking about our table to another customer and essentially moaning that we were even there. To say it’s a great place to eat is an understatement. The staff are very professional and also fun, they really make you feel welcomed. It is a very clean restaurant with staff always cleaning. Now the important bit of my review, the food. I had a steak pinene with side salad and chips and my Wife had a waffle. My streak pinene had more streak in it than most restaurants serve in a main meal. It was fantastic, it fact I left most of the chips as I was full and takes a lot! My Wife who has waffles around the world could not believe her eyes when it came out. She commented “ Am I expected to eat all that?” She said it was the best she had ever had, but again did not quite finish it all. We both had drinks, bottled water and a pot of Earl Gray tea and the cost £27. How’s that for value for money? The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We came on Thursday night which is half price burger night. I am very glad we did as the burgers cost over £16, that isn't a type, yes really over £16 per burger!!! I was very very surprised at how expensive it was. If it wasn't half price burger night we would have definitely of walked out and gone to the local Wetherspoons just down the road. The burgers were very tasty but definitely not £16+ worth of burger. You didn't even get side salad for that price! Cocktails were good however the prices didn't get any better here. Just shy of £10 per cocktail, nearly fell off of my chair and I was the sober one!! I asked for sauce with my meal, sadly this was all chargeable and you couldn't even get BBQ sauce or ketchup without being stung by more charges. I had to say no to the sauce because I just couldn't bring myself to spending even more money that I was. I could feel the money dripping out of my pockets by this point. If the prices were right then we'd be here more often however the crazily high prices are holding this place back. If you look at other reviews other people are also talking about the prices and how shockingly high they are. Don't come here if you are looking for a normally priced or even slightly higher priced meal as everything on the menu is very high.

We were a group of 31 people that came in, ordered drinks (separately), some having starters and desserts and everyone having a main. The starters came out first (obviously) and the rest of the group were jealous that they didn't order. We could see the pizzas being made in front of us and around 30 pizzas came out within 5 minutes of each other which was a feat in itself. It was also reassuring that you could see into the kitchen where a big wood fired pizza oven was blazing away. One of the nice things about the place was that you could choose your own pizza toppings and they had more than just the usual mainstream ingredients on offer. Our pizzas were thin and crispy and really very good. Personally I would have liked a bit more of some of the toppings even if I'd had to pay a little more because the prices were very reasonable but I guess with the choose your own topping system I could have asked for a double portion and I might try that next time. The only issue we had, which I didn't mention at the time for fear of creating a bad atmosphere, and which I only mention now at the end of my review because I don't want it to make my review seem bad when in fact we had a very nice time, was that we ordered a bowl of olives to have with our drinks and did not get the advertised ones. I guess the restaurant must have run out of the "Manzanilla and Hojiblanca olives" that are on the menu as we were given a bowl of dry black pitted olives with some feta crumbled over it. We tried them but didn't eat them as they weren't good. No one seemed to notice (or to acknowledge) that we hadn't eaten them either. It would have been much better practice if we'd just been told that the restaurant was out of the good olives than to try substituting an inferior product. On the whole though, this is nice interesting little restaurant and we would definitely come here again.

I have also had good food at the cafe, and especially like their indoor 'outdoor' section. However, yesterday I went here plant shopping with my sister. She bought a number of plants, I just bought 4 from the clearance section. There were two large trollies with a notice saying that the plants were reduced from £2.60 to half price. I had a hard time trying to find a clean knife and fork and the paper menu on the tables were grubby and some had sauce stains on them. I ordered a traditional breakfast which arrived on a lukewarm plate. The bacon was cold and under cooked and the potato waffle tasted like it had been warmed up from a former breakfast. I cannot understand why a Manager reading the reviews for this food outlet is unable to set things right and see that the staff are trained properly in providing a reasonable service. Today I made the decision never to eat at one of these again. I had cauliflower cheese which to put it bluntly looked like snot and didn't taste at all like it should.
