Attended a family function and it was lovely. We were given a seating section away from everywhere else, the staff were so friendly and efficient. The cafe didn't give me the best experience. I had the arrowhead vegetarian breakfast and the food was okay but I didn't receive my drink before my food and had to ask the server to go get my latte. This also meant I waited the whole time without my drink prior to the meal which would have amplified my satisfaction. The food was hot and parts of it were nice, but the poached egg was extremely small and tasted strongly of vinegar. The beans didn't taste high quality, very watery. The mushrooms and the potatoes were the nicest part and the sausages surprised me and tasted fairly decent. Didn't feel the staff were that welcoming, seemed more of an inconvenience that I hadn't received my coffee. I don't think I'd go back here in a rush. Seems other people have had better experiences. At first, we thought they were closed as it looked dark through the windows. Mixed grill was top quality meat, the gammon was probably the best I have ever had and although some of the meat portions were quite small, I didn't mind due to the quality. The young guy who came to take our order seemed a bit out of his depth. But he got it in the end. He served our drinks. The garden centre itself is well presented with good parking to the right of the building. Nice selection of plants and accessories in the main shop and the outdoor courtyard has plenty of outdoor options to consider. Staff in other areas are kind and helpful. Plenty of smiles and offers of help. Some of the staff working in the restaurant however seem like they resented being at work. We ordered 2 adult meals, one children's hot meal deal and one children's sandwich box meal deal. When asking for the preferred box meals pudding ( either jelly or a cake ) we were given a biscuit and a sharp response of " that's all we have ". After our daughter finished her hot meal, we asked for her pudding ( chocolate brownie and ice cream ) I was told " well table 19 has already had 3 tubs of ice cream! ". For a start we sat at a different table so I have no idea what prompted this sudden outburst followed by " well we normally give you the ice cream before you sit down ". Which would then have been ice cream flavoured soup by the time our daughter fished her meal but non the less we neither received the brownie nor the ice cream. After 5 minutes of arguing in front of a line of people, the lady who very obviously has zero people skills thrust one half of the brownie and ice cream combo at us. ( vanilla ice cream ). Been a few times and been lovely so decided to take my service users in the minibus and have a treat. They and staff had different preferences from fish to sausage to pies. We finished our food and the black pudding never arrived by the time we left. This won’t put me off going there as it’s generally very good, but certainly won’t have the pancakes again and will order coffee in a mug in future!

Menu is varied and every dish we had was delicious. Only had two out of seven possible beers available and the card machine was "broken" so had to be cash only. Apparently delivery for beer was missed but the place had the feeling of a struggling restaurant overall - as true or as untrue as that may be. Would go back but would hope to see a better and full selection of drinks next time as per the menu. Waitress kept having to check in at the bar really conspicuously to check if drinks were available - which they should be if they are on the menu. I should have mentioned the food before we left and apologies for not doing so. We were really looking forward to 'authentic' tapas but were unfortunately met with slightly overpriced non-authentic dishes. Firstly some positive feedback: The staff were very lovely and welcoming and fairly attentive. The place is nicely decorated and lovely atmosphere. Our food came quickly and it was all hot enough. The chicken skewers were nice, the halluomi fries were lovely and the sangria and cocktails were fabulous, but that's where it ends unfortunately. Now the negatives: You were obviously short staffed, only 3 people were working and I believe the lady that owns it and sat us at our table was also the chef as we never saw her again, so only 2 staff fetching and carrying one which also had to do the bar. The olives weren't pitted as stated on the menu, but we were informed they weren't when they came, they weren't nice olives. The cod and parsley croquettes were basically battered fishcakes, we were thinking they would be flakes of fish so that was very disappointing and at £6.95 expensive. The patatas bravas were not home made but what seemed like the frozen potato cubes that you can get in any superstore and the sauce was quite chilli hot so my mum had to ask for some without the sauce on as it didn't state the sauce was hot. So as these were cheap frozen potatoes again an expensive dish. There wasn't a great deal of choice on the menu as there were four dishes that contained Chorizo. Maybe some of the other dishes are better  who knows? If you want authentic dishes it might be an idea to get a Spanish chef, just a suggestion? Just one point on the service, we did have to wait a bit for our table to be cleared and our dessert/cocktails to be ordered and it wasn't busy just 3 other tables occupied, but again that's down to lack of staff. As I said I don't want to slag off just constructive criticism.

The food was amazing especially Pho Beef Noodle. We ordered some Deep Fried Springrolls, Stir fried Squid, Salmon and mixed vegetable, Rice and Fries. The quality of the ingredients and its taste are top notch. I am a good cook myself and often make many Vietnamese dishes at home I can say this is very very good Vietnamese food. They also sell bubble tea and since it's also a pub there is good selection of beverage and alcohol drinks. I recommended to family and friends they all said they really enjoyed the food and the experience was great. The only thing that may stop me coming back and dine as often as I wish is their price. Loved the gazebo area at the front with its outdoors-inside feel, hanging streetlamps, greenery and solid wood tables. The venue is split across two levels, and as a wheelchair user I was pleased to see a well positioned lift for easy access between the two. The bathroom is also fully accessible which is rare in smaller venues like this. The hot chocolate was delicious! The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. There is free WiFi too. All in all well worth a visit, I'll be back.
