Used a groupon this time. Located near the Time Capsule in Coatbridge across the road from petrol station. Super friendly staff, so accommodating and kind. Dansac was tasty, good portion. Nan was massive, fresh and tasted amazing. Soundtrack was smooth radio, might have been better with authentic Indian music and spiced onions weren't spicy and a bit too minty other than these small points no issues. Reasonable sized dining area, spotlessly clean and good value for money.

The decor is recent with lovely watercolour style walls, with dark green contrast wall. Lovely wait staff. Menu just changed with flavours from around the world. This visit we sampled a “chicken box” a large pizza box with 10, yes 10 huge home made southern fried chicken pieces (huge crispy tender chicken), 10 nuggets, 5 fritters, 2 sauces or a sauce and 3 dips and a big portion of chips (separate as there is no room in the massive pizza box 😂). It cost £21.95!! Could have fed 2 adults and 2 kids with leftovers. They do a smaller version if you have less people to feed! We also had the battered fish again. My eldest devoured her fish as did I. 10/10 not one bite of disappointment. These guys have won tons of awards and it shows why. If you live in central Scotland then forget some of the famous chippies on the coast and get along to Tony’s. Might not have a sea view but Hugh knows exactly what he’s doing with a fryer! I ordered a two slice fish supper which was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked fish which filled the crispy dry batter to every corner, the chips were fried expertly and tasted awesome 👌 Michelle got a single king rib , probably the best king rib ive tasted 😋 plus we got fritters to share ...OMG there was some eating in all of this and we couldn't finish all the fritters and again perfectly cooked with crispy dry batter . We were looking at the hot display cabinet at all the lovely food to choose from when the fryer asked if we have ever tried the crispy chicken ? As this was our first time we obviously said so and he generously gave us both a piece of chicken to try which was absolutely delicious 😋 The staff were so friendly and we'll definitely be going back to Tony's, maybe not order as much but 10/10 for food and staff 🙏

Ordered Salt & Chilli Chicken, Beef Kung Po, and Peking Ribs for my dad who's currently in hospital - and he's a very fussy eater - but he said it was the best Salt & Chilli Chicken he's ever tasted! My Kung Po was absolutely beautiful too. I was honestly sceptical at first because of how fast the food came out, but they had it freshly made and ready in under 10 minutes - and it was perfect! The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better Couldn't fault a single thing -5/5 stars, 100% recommended! Easily one of the best Chinese takeaways l've ever had wish it was in glasgow

In fact it is our closest. We was not disappointed. Phoned our order in, was told 5/10 mins. First of all i had selected i wanted no salad in the 2 wraps i ordered, they came with salad in them. Firstly I will say the staff are excellent. I was also really impressed by the decor, especially the wall of local trinkets. Food wise though it's not great. My family decided to pop in here for a late lunch, early dinner on Monday after a day of bowling and to be honest I wished I just ordered food from the bowling. Let's start with atmosphere. The entire place is filthy. There is dust everywhere and the seats haven't seen hot soapy water in a long time. The walls are all cracked and the paint work desperately needs to be redone. We sat in a corner next to a small white wall which had at least 1cm of dust on it and water marks on the wall behind my daughter. The toilets are not being monitored regularly. The taps are broken and there is marks all over the walls. The stall doors are broken and toilets aren't cleaned regularly. All in all the hygiene is very poorly kept up with. The food was cold when it arrived at the table which is unusual as the food actually came out very quickly but any time we tried to discreetly get a waitresses attention we were ignored. The apart blue steak was medium rare at best and the cheese sauce that came with it wasn't a sauce but a big cheese clump that peeled off the steak in one. The veg around it appeared to be frozen peppers which were bland with very little seasoning. The cutlery had marks over it served in a dirty metal bucket. The waitress that did come over wasn't interested in anything we tried to ask her but instead started clearing away plates whist a party member was still eating which resulted in a loss of appetite. We had to chase up our daughters sweet and felt as though we were being rushed out. Can't say we'll be back until the place is cleaned and staff are retrained especially in social etiquette. My daughter did not need to hear a staff member talking about recreational activities when trying to eat.

The lovely manager offered me to come and collect it, which I did as the pizza was a dietary need for a client. We have been visiting Pizza Hut chain with our own children and now grandchildren since they first opened and this is by far the worst we have encountered. Staff not interested in serving us and told to order at table ourselves or go to bar to order. How is this a personal experience. I was waiting to be told to cook our own pizzas to. The food standards have really slipped. The salad bar area was terribly unhygienic and lots of fruit flies around food so much so my 6 year old grandson pointed them out. Pizzas were substandard very sparse on cheese and I had to remind the disinterested staff we were still awaiting our starters. When they brought them the garlic bread with cheese was barely cooked. I wish I had cooked this myself. I’m sorry and sad to see this happening to what was very much a family favourite but it’s went downhill.
