We would come back again if we’re in the area or visit another Shogun restaurants at any of the other locations if we have the opportunity.

The food was just aight but the robot food runner was pretty rad. It’s plays a little jingle and slides around the restaurant serving ramen and sushi. I imagine these are all over Asia but funny to see in the sleepy town of PD. The ramen was just ok and the sushi was decent but there’s better options. For the price I feel like it hits right and the beer prices are from a prior decade which, who doesn’t love cheap beer. As a whole the food is just ok but the service was friendly and the atmosphere was good. Worth a try.

Portions are standard to other ramen spots that I go to (and I live in NY). The shoyu ramen was a bit salty and not as flavorful as the tonkotsu. The steamed buns / baos (pork belly) were ok, I would skip that next time. Service was quick, staff were very nice. We were finally able to try this place out and it did not dissapoint! Ramen hit the spot, broth was flavorful and deep, noodles were tender, egg was perfectly cooked. This will now be our go-to place. I ordered mine with an extra 3 piece of gyoza which were perfecly pan fried/steamed. The cashier recommended some chili oil on the side when I inquired about possibld making my ramen spicier. If you love some heat, definitely try the chili oil out! We have only ordered for pick up due to the coronavirus but everything comes packaged very well organized. The noodles and toppings were seperated from the broth so I was able to easily mix in the chili oil before adding the toppings.
