Wir haben zufällig am Abend bei Google-Maps diese Bar gefunden und sind spontan einfach noch mal hingefahren.
Die Anfahrt direkt zur Bar gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, das Parken kann unter Umständen auch etwas umständlicher sein. Es besteht aber die Möglichkeit unten auf dem nahe gelegenen Parkplatz zu parken und über eine etwas längere Treppe nach oben zu gelangen.
Oben angekommen erwartet einen ein sehr angenehmes und einladendes Ambiente und leckere Getränke sowie kleine und große Snacks.
Wir haben uns für Cocktails um die 7-8€ entschieden sowie einen Burger und ein Club Sandwich auch im Bereich um die 8€.
Preis-Leistungsmäßig waren wir wirklich sehr zu frieden. Gutes Essen, passend für eine Bar und natürlich leckere Getränke.
Dazu extrem freundliches Personal, sehr familiär, wir haben uns nach dem Bezahlen noch sehr lange gut unterhalten.
Wir kommen definitv für unseren letzten Urlaubsabend noch einmal hier her und können jedem nur empfehlen auch mal spontan vorbei zu fahren.

Ein wunderbares griechisches Restaurant. Die gegrillten Lammkoteletts waren die besten, die ich jemals hatte. Wir waren schon zweimal dort und werden sicher bald wieder hingehen.

One of the best meals we had over a week in Rhodes. The smoked aubergine was cooked to perfection, and we enjoyed trying the Pitaroudia (chickpea fritters), which had a flavour we hadn't encountered before. We also shared a portion of lamb with potatoes which, again, was really well made. It's no big deal that the restaurant is right on the main road, easy to forget the traffic noise when having such a great meal. Wir sind rein zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen, da es von außen eher unscheinbar wirkt. Doch dann fiel uns der große Holzkohleofen auf und der Besitzer, der gerade eine Pizza per Hand gezogen hat. Frischer Teig, hochwertige Zutaten und traditionelle Zubereitung! A very high rating brought us to the Shark but sadly due to recently reopening and limited customers this has had a major impact on the menu with several dishes not available.
That being said what was available was really good, there were 7 of us and across our order we had sea bass , sea bream , souvlaki etc etc so despite not being our preferred choices they were cooked very well and very tasty.
The owner is a really nice chap who despite the current situation is committed to providing a good dining experience and we all wish him all the best.

The best Tavern we visited on Rhodos! It’s a small restaurant in Afandou where you can also find many locals. The waiter is super friendly (but speaks pretty quiet) and gives daily recommendations and specials for the menu. The food is amazing! He has a pretty big menu with lots of variety. I can recommend nearly everything we tasted - moussaka, souvlaki, village sausage, and lots of starters we tried (e.g. mushrooms ala cream, spicy filled peppers, bougiourdi and the pita with feta, honey and sesame! You always get bread with a rather spicy dip as well as an olive dip for free before you order. At the end you get a little cherry on top like ice cream or typical greek cookie / sweet. Ambience is 10/10 - nicely decorated with Greek music.

Great place with good food and amazing cozy atmosphere. There is one chef and his son is the only waiter, so it’s a real family taverna.
We took mussels saganaki, mix of dips (they go without pita, so we took pitas as well), village sausage and dolmadakia.
Dolmadakia was especially delicious!
We also got a bread with 2 dips as a compliment as well as an ice cream (which was absolutely amazing) and a small shot.
Definitely recommend this place and thank you so much to the family for such a hard work they have serving to all the tables when there are only two people working.

Beautiful, welcoming small restaurant with a great atmosphere and firendly service. Super polite and conversational. All food cooked from fresh from the front kitchen. Portion size is large and worth every euro. Highly reccomended this restaurant especially if you’re visiting / staying in rodos star all inclusive hotel. Only 15 min walk or 3 min drive in the beautiful village of afantou. First place to eat when arriving to Greece and last lunch before we leave to fly back to the UK.

We had a lovely lunch here three weeks ago. The food was all delicious, and the service was impressive. After our meal, while we were still enjoying drinks at our table in the sun, the chef/owner came over and offered me some dried oregano, which he said had been harvested from his garden and would be perfect for making a Greek salad.
