I cannot speak high enough of our experience here. I called in a couple of hours prior to dinner to request a reservation for the dining room on the first floor. The fish managed to taste light and was perfectly seasoned, just a touch of salt and pepper and nothing to get in the way of the quality freshness. Greens were a step above your average sandwich lettuce, the bread was perfect for a po'boy, but the real standout was the sauce, with its full flavor and perfect balance. Served with a side of crunchy broccolini and creamy mashed potatoes, be prepared to get horizontal afterwards. Especially if you've included wine or beer and indulged in dessert. I ordered the chocolate pot o creme, and my husband the key lime pie. Both garnished with mint leaf, and pink fluffy cream that implied either strawberry or berry flavoring. Alas, was in reality pink colored whipped cream (or else so subtle that I couldn't taste it.) I would have like a stronger chocolate flavor, and would have made it my self with a few bits of ground espresso beans. It's Mexican themed with most foods being Mexican in origin. But its yummy. The salmon burger had a lively spice to it, but I could eat the patty plain. It was so good. The fries are no frills but it's good eats. I wish they had a broader dipping selection for the fries. Owners are the same as Fat Olive which is also exceptional.

The food on the other hand was good but nothing special for what your paying. I first started with a bloody Mary and dark beer the bloody Mary garnishes were beautiful but the drink itself I didn't like it was missing something. The peanut sauce is not true peanut sauce it's more like a watered down honey sauce with floating peanut pieces in it. It tastes like vinegar and sugar water. They also gave me one that the whole side was ripped open. Really they can't remake that or give me a decent one not one that the whole sized is ripped from to to bottom and fall falling apart. The Mongolian beef is not even Mongolian beef it has weird peppers mixed in it in the beef is hard like jerky. Cashew chicken does not taste like cashew chicken all I can taste in it is watery soy sauce. Spending $120 on four dishes I'd expect this to actually be good and decent size portions not toddler sized portions. This has to be some of the worst Thai food I've ever had and I've traveled quite a bit. If you're in Homer and want better Thai food go to Vidas.
