They said to call when I arrived and someone would seat me outside. Not your typical Wisconsin bar food. The menu draws strongly on Asian and Cajun influences. There are so many interesting choices. The Forbidden Rice Naan wrap was amazing. There are so many fun things I could come here a dozen more times before repeating a menu choice. The atmosphere is almost fantastic. It has a beautiful bar but suffers with drop ceilings and fluorescent lights. An interior refresh would go a long way to making this a 10/10 destination. They serve some interesting signature and classic cocktails, but the draft menu is quite limited. They also provide a large selection of board games to play. Overall, amazing destination for foodies, but keep your group small as there is really no option for seating more than 4 people together.

I think it's neat that they specialize in wraps but they do offer many other things like breakfast, paninis, smoothies, etc. I ordered the hulli hulli wrap and thought it was decent. It wasn’t that busy with our 5pm dinner reservation and we thought we would get some more service than we did but it is totally understandable with it being a holiday. I had the moscato wine which was a classic. We then ordered the warm French bread and it came with marinara, pesto and butter which was delicious. We had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and the seared tenderloin with a creamy crab sauce on top. The sides were different which is nice to mix it up. So unless you enjoy sitting in a "mean girls club" with people who think they can bully customers spending their hard earned money in their overpriced establishment waiting 45 minutes for simple drinks and over 2 hours for food while the staff is having a great time doing shots together, I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Around 730, the kids asked how much longer it would be as the homecoming dance STARTED at 730pm. By 750 I asked where their food was and stated again that they had the homecoming dance which had already started. They said "it’s being made right now" for the second time. By 8pm, I was livid and demanded to know EXACTLY what the status of their food was. The owner was in the back making snarky comments. Anyone who has been here knows you can see right in the kitchen. She refused to come back to the table by the kids which I waited at until everyone had their food. Only once I had walked away did she go back & address the kids in an unacceptable rude manner. One of the girls in our group never even got her food! It is now 820 and we are the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE PLACE. There were multiple people in the kitchen at all times & behind the bar. The place was well enough staffed. There was no excuse. There was no accountability & we were met with nothing but attitude. We didn't walk in on a Saturday evening expected to be seated and served immediately, hence why we had RESERVATIONS. Even if the place was full, there is NO reason that we should have been there 2 hours and there is absolutely no reason someone in our group should have had to leave without even eating. Unacceptable. But if you look at the reviews on google, plenty of people have had the same experience. It could be an amazing place. At no time was there any apology from the owner herself. She sent her waitress out to address everything. I even made a comment to the waitress asking why the owner wouldn't come out & acknowledge the situation. I hate to think how the kids would have been treated had a parent not been there to speak up. I don't know that I've ever posted about a restaurant & a bad experience but this was far beyond that. It was because of those ratings that we chose to dine here on 6/26/2021. We have had better food at truck stops. The exterior of the building is deteriorating, as is the sign. As were eating our soup, the server decided to vacuum the carpet, not a good idea when people are dining. I also ordered mashed potatoes. Server stated that they are homemade. The texture felt homemade but totally missed on flavor. The veggies that came with the meal came right from a can. They didn't even look good, neither of us touched them. The chicken leg was hilarious it was about the size of my thumb! Sadly, they broasted the chicken leg and breast together so both were extremely overcooked. They did get the ribeye cooked to the proper temp but didn't have any flavor. It just looked lost in all the other disasters. My wife said the shrimp was okay. Even her coffee was bad. When our server asked how we liked our meal, we were honest. "You didn't even like the soup?" Was her only response. On my way out I used the Men's room. I had to not breath as the urinal was "very ripe" if you know what I mean. I'm glad I don't live in this town....

The issue would be the lack of description for the meals they offer. My brother requested some terriyaki with shrimp. When he received his food, he received more shrimp than terriyaki. It would've been nice if we could've received more terriyaki to equal it out with the shrimp. Even the rice included in the meal was covered in terriyaki sauce rather than it being in a separate bowl. If we really wanted to ask for changes, I'm sure they would've taken the meal back and offered it the correct way. As for myself I went ahead and purchased a gyro, thinking they would wrap it like a burrito like they do in Rome. I was wrong however. I received the gyro as if it was half a Taco Bell crunch wrap. The gyro description said it was "beaf" but it tasted as if it was sausage or lamb so it made me question what they really used. I couldn't use the sauce they offered for when I opened it, it looked old and a majority of the juice was on top. I can't really judge the sauce for I wasn't a fan of the taste so I'll exclude that from this review other than what I saw. Despite their meals their soup and fries are stupendously good! The fries are just right. I didn't taste any of that grease you normally would taste when eating at fast food restaurants. That hot crunchy taste was just perfect. As for the soup, I went ahead and ordered the chicken dumplings and that was superb. Not to hot, not to cold but just right. Some crackers on the side was to have. All in all their service was great but their food, not so much. They do offer their meals in a "fancy" manner but the lack of certain ingredients per meal cuts them short. Think of it as buying a CPO vehicle and the dealer doesn't send you photos of the vehicle. The only time you see it is on the spot at the dealer when it arrives. Kinda like that. You were expecting something like "wow!" but in return was more like "oh..." My family didn't seem to enjoy the food and their pricing seemed to average around $9-$11 a person. If you want to have a family comfort dine in, I would recommend to look somewhere else.

The appearance of the inside interior definitely needs an update. It is very old and worn out. We came about 6:00 PM and there were only about three other tables in the restaurant. I was not sure if I wanted to get a second plate but I went back up. Third time I tried some crab bake (was good) and the Crab Rangoon (they looked under cooked but the flavor was good). At one point I tried the wonton soup (not a fan) and the fried dumping (it was okay). I’m trying to decide if I would like to give the restaurant a second chance. If I would go again I would definitely go during a peak time of the day to ensure that I get all fresh food to create a better opinion.

Tonight unfortunately was another miss and sad to say the last time I will pay that price for that quality of food. 1- the food had a smell and taste of perhaps rancid or burnt oil, either way it left a bad taste in my mouth and this wasn't the first time because when it is good it is good. 2- they offer free delivery within 2 miles and according to google maps I am 0.8 miles away and I was charged a delivery fee, 3- I dont mind giving drivers etc a tip but I don't appreciate you taking on a tip with only option I saw was to give more than what you put on 4- since when is there a service fee, granted places do this so not sure what to say about that. So to sum it up, my final experience on sunday with lucky bamboo was not so lucky, I can't afford to pay that kind of price for the quality of food that seems to always be a hit or miss if it is going to be good and the taste left was not a pleasant one and I feel they are somewhat small portions for the money. I do recommend them for the offer some great food. They offer just enough to where it doesn't make you feel full but enough to feel content.
