We were cruising around Redmond and found it and we're glad we did. I ordered the Ceviche appetizer and it was to die for. Great flavors and nice portion definitely could feed up to 4 people the only downfall was to many cilantro stems. My wife ordered the chicken and beef fajitas. This dish could feed 2 people. Meat was seasoned well and vegetables were very fresh. We ordered a lemonade and Dr pepper which were also great. They use square chunks of ice that tastes a little like chlorine so beware. Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend giving this place a try and you won't be disappointed. They keep the lights low and the industrial style ceiling fans were pretty awesome

Food: We ordered the barbecue shrimp appetizer which had three shrimp for $24. We then ordered the Diego's burrito with carnitas for $22. We felt confident we could share this meal because for $22 the burrito which is a regular bean rice and carnitas burrito should have been huge. It was not. It was mostly beans and rice there was probably 2 oz of meat in the entire burrito. Lastly the Virgin lava flow was $10 which we also shared. Had this been one of the most outstanding meals I've had I would not blink an eye at the cost but it was far from that. Los Jalapenos in Bend far supersedes this restaurant and is half the price. The salsa was way too hot and felt like it came from bottled tomatoes or possibly canned. The green sauce on the burrito was so bitter and tart it was almost inedible. As for the barbecue shrimp, probably the best flavor of the meal, was far below what barbecue shrimp should be; especially considering I just had barbecue shrimp two days ago at Zydeco's which was sublime (and they have five shrimp and a polenta cake for $18). Our waiter was rude. He made us feel like we were an inconvenience. He was so curt and dismissive he boarded on obnoxious. He gave a general air of superiority which made us feel very uncomfortable. I have been watching the Bend and Redmond food scene grow over the last 30 years into something really spectacular. Diego's Spirited Kitchen is not it. I would rather go to a food cart get better food for less money and never go back there again which is sad given how good they used to be.

The fires we dry and had zero salt. Over all, we left feeling disgusted and worried we may all get sick from how dirty everything was. We will never return to this location but instead will continue to go to Madras.

The ranchera sauce was delish, and the chorizo was a clutch addition. The burrito was great as well, but make sure that you get a lot of their house salsa, be cause its sooo good and made the burrito exceptional. The place is well decorated with painted murals on all the walls, and hardly any noise coming from the kitchen. My wife visited the bathroom once we arrived, and she said it was very clean and smelled pleasant. The dining area was also clean and well organized. I will return with my wife to treat her to lunch someday soon.

I had always made excuses to not go and find a pho restaurant in Bend but i was impressed with the food. The restaurant is small complex. The dining area is small, dark, but clean. Service was great but this isnt fast food. They seem to get alot of doordash orders and the kitchen isnt big. The wait is worth it. We ordered the pho and bun. Both exceeded expectations and is now our go to thai restaurant. They have a few vegetarian options but the chicken pho was unreal. They have lots of condiments that can be requested. More than other thai places ive been to. They do not have a huge drink selection so dont expect a beer menu that you might be used to at other restaurant. The food is definitely the headliner hear.

Unfortunately this is a long story, settle in. TLDR: undercooked, unwillingness from store to correct or make right. Tonight we got take out from Bogey's. Not only did they get my burger wrong (it had two slices of tomato that I had requested be completely withheld), but my husband and I got almost half way through our burgers and found they were pink! We are not ok with pink on a burger, we like well done and thought we didn't need to specify. It literally says on a sign inside the establishment "all burgers cooked well done", even called and confirmed it with the staff after the fact as this was a take out order. Since the burgers were halfway eaten through, I didn't even request a refund or a remake (additional story on why to follow) but had to make them aware that the burgers were not cooked to their own specifications and hopefully they would be more diligent next time. Now as to why I didn't ask for a refund. This sadly isn't the first time this has happened. Again, it was another take out order. When I called and asked for a remake or refund they told us to bring THE ENTIRE ORDER back, when only 2 of the 4 burgers were wrong. We didn't want the CORRECT burgers to get cold taking them back to the restaurant then back home. We didn't want those remade just the ones they got WRONG. They claimed that taking back the order was their policy to get a refund or remake. What?! So no, this time they were wrong I did NOT request a refund or remake because I don't trust in their willingness to correct their mistakes. After multiple failed attempts, we are no longer going to return and they are no longer going to be our recommendation for a great burger in Bend. For how expensive it is, they should be making the orders correctly. Do better, Bogey's.

The only soup offered was loaded baked potato, which I didn't mind since it's one of my favs. For my half sandwich I went with a BLT on sourdough. My friend had the Eggs Benedict. Luckily our food came out at about average timing after placing our order. My soup was good-- thick and creamy, cheesy, and had a decent amount of bacon. My half BLT had nice crisp bacon and fresh lettuce and tomato and hit the spot. My friend said his eggs bene was average and wished the sauce had more flavor. Even though our service was slow, it was because our server was also the hostess and dishwasher. She apologized for the wait and thanked us for our patience. Not a big deal, it’s an honest mistake and I ordered close to closing time. I got through half of my sandwich and and pulled a piece of what looked like plastic wrap out of my mouth. At first I thought maybe it was like meat skin or something but upon further inspection and a second opinion it was with out a doubt PLASTIC. I felt sick, I’ve never found actual garbage in my food before. I examined the rest of the sandwich and luckily that was the only piece of garbage that made it’s way into my food. By the time I made this discovery it was already 8pm and I assumed they had closed. I will be calling in the morning to request a refund or some other form of compensation. I don’t leave reviews on places but this could’ve been hazardous to my health if I hadn’t noticed and accidentally swallowed it.
