Our server was friendly, but could not understand English and had to go and get the Manager to provide assistance with taking our order. We did not have to wait a long time for our food at all. However, I had asked for soft shells, and the server and manager brought out hard shells. My friend's order was done correctly the first time. Unfortunately though, she found a "LONG PIECE OF NARROW PLASTIC" inside the beef of her Chimichanga. She told the Manger that she would not be paying for her food and that she would not be eating anymore of it. The Manager took the amount off of her check, but did not bother to even ask my friend if she wanted something else to eat. I was also just not a fan of my tacos. The beef was just different. It did not seem very authentic to me and was lacking in taste. I would prefer a taco from Taco Bell and that is just sad. I will NEVER be back to this so called Mexican Restaurant again. For something like this, plastic being found in food, I think they need to be investigated before being allowed to be in operation or shut down entirely.

We didn’t touch the fries until our burgers came out by then they were cold. When we asked for hot fresh fries the waitress said she would if we pay for them also. So pay for the cold and fresh fries just so we could enjoy a complete hot meal. But the burgers are awful ours were burnt all around the edges and just very distasteful. The fries were recooked and they were hot but they cook them apparently in the same fryer as the powdered sugar fries or something because ours had that taste of powdered sugar like at a fair or circus. As far as clean it could use more attention then what we saw. Floors sticky and the men’s bathroom was so bad I just waited. We hadn’t been to Hinkles in years and use to be pretty good but not today it’s has completely gone downhill. It’s definitely not worth the wait or money to eat there.

The cheesy bread and even the marinara were very good. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious as well, I would absolutely come back for a to go order. Now for the bad. Our waitress seemed like she could care less, never checked on us or asked if we needed refills. The Tennessee vs Alabama game was on and the TV went off and one of the patrons waiting for a to go order flagged down a waitress to let her know and we tell her what game it was. She comes out and turns on a totally different game and ignored us and walked back to the back leaving us staring at each other. There were 3 total tables occupied so not sure why we were ignored other than our waitress again didn't care. Got a large Pesto Perfection. The ingredients tasted very good. Artichokes used by restaurants are usually of low quality and are rubbery and bland, but the ones on this pizza were very lemony and zesty. I would recommend to maybe take out the kalamata olives? The combination of olives, pesto, feta makes it overpoweringly salty. I still smashed the pizza though. The Derby pie was also very delicious. We ordered take out. I got the famous Apple Mac burger and bread pudding. The burger is very wet, due to the Mac and cheese layer. I got creating turning it upside down. It was a little under seasoned. More spice and a burger sauce would balance the flavors better. The bread pudding is the star of the show, sweet and delicious. I had Irish grilled cheese, the beer cheese makes this sandwich fire. Next time I'll eat at the restaurant and see if that improved the burger flavors and taste rest of the menu.

The lasagna was probably the best we have ever tasted, a delightful blend of sweetness and savory. Grandma Mac's Greek salad did not disappoint and the serving was quite large for the price. I wasn't as impressed with the penne. I *love* spicy food but I like the spicy to have a depth of flavor that wasnt there with this sauce. It felt very much like just dumping a bottle of Buffalo sauce in my mouth. So if you love Buffalo sauce, then by all means, give this a shot! I came real close to just leaving my food there and just not pay for it. The on my reason I came to pay is I am a Christian and if I was the owner I would hope the same. Although I was very disappointed by my first visit there. I assumed it would have the small community feel to it but the waiter destroyed that. I wanted a refund and thought closely about it. But I still paid and even gave her 50 cents for a $5:00 meal. 10%. She really didn't even deserve that by her actions, only bevaus3 she is a human who may be just having a horrible day. I truly think I'll never go there ever again. So sad!

Its tucked over in the corner and the sign is a little faded but the food is great and the prices were very reasonable. Realistically this place should have a crowd all the time.
