It's a piece of fish, 2 scallops, and 5 shrimp that the breading didn't stick to and the cold items was placed in with the hot items. Everyone love's hot coleslaw, right? The other picture is the 18.$ BBQ rib sandwich topped with cheese and crispy fried onions. (It's 1 onion ring) My kid had the kosher all beff hot dog that was burnt on one side. I am glad I got it to go because I would've lost my mind when handed an 85$ bill for this slop. I got the food and drove 6 miles down the road to my house and this is what it looked like. It was hardly 2 bites of coleslaw that was hot on top of that. Absolutely ridiculous!! I bet your employees can't afford to eat there and hopefully they don't unless they get it for free because what are y'all even doing with this slop. The waitress was absolutely amazing and she needs a raise, her name was Haley and she is a total sweetheart!

K picked it out and wanted to go due to the scenery the lake. We got there it was our 1st time here. We got parking near the restraunt they were some handicapped spots.I have a lot of issues with neuropathy in my left leg and stairs make it way worse. The sign said dining downstairs. I looked and they had a lot of stairs I'm gonna say more than 10 I didnt count. They had no signs that has handicapped entrance or no stairs this way. So I took them slow and careful down one at a time. I was not gonna ruin the celebration that the kids were excited for. We were seated outside with a lake view. It was very nice not cold not hot. Every one seemed super busy in a rush not really time to have any conversation. No problem I know about short staffed restraunts both kids work in one. We have a young man he took our drink order and we got an appetizer spinach artichoke dip. It was really good it was all ate. The kids ordered ribeye medium with one side mac and cheese. This is the 1st restaurant that we have been to that you dont get two sides with a steak when you pay that much $. Usally its a salad and then the side of your choice. I got a smash burger and added pimento cheese with fries. I asked if I could get the aoili mayo on the side didnt know if I would like it or not. The kids said the mac and cheese was delicious along with the steak was perfectly cooked. My burger was great I like the fries they were very different but really good. A bug flew in b tea and he asked for a change of drink. The whole meal he never got it I didnt get the side of aoili. We had to stop our waiter if we needed something. He said he forgot and would forget again. I am not way trying to be mean I am just writing about our experience. They were a group leaving and they walked behind of us up the right side of the building. She was on crutches and I just assumed that would be an easier way on me instead of the stairs. I assume many people do not go this way due to it was a uphill ramp with no rails. My son helped me walk up it and at the top boxes littered the walkway. I get yall might not have a lot of handicapped people and I am a lot lucker than most people. If you had someone like the young lady on crutches or in a wheelchair. Do you have an easier way to visit your establishment? I get a lot of people are in a hurry and busy. I would come back again I just hope that the staff is way more friendly and observant. We contacted them from basically a blind referral from our venue in Lake Lure and so happy we did. From the beginning, Mark was easy to work with, gave guidance on choices and amounts, went to the venue to plan his set up prior to the event, was always punctual and quick to reply to my Nervous Nelly questions. The day of our event, he ran back and forth setting up the venue and manning his bbq smoker. And the food was so good!!! Many said it was the best pulled pork they’d ever had-including me. The potato salad was delicious and I don’t care for most potato salads, and the Mac and cheese was also a star on the buffet, I think it got hit hardest. Mark and his assistant were efficient and so nice to everyone. Then they stayed to help clean it all up with us. 100% of everything Mark and his crew did was spot on and I’m so glad I picked them for our event. I look forward to visiting the restaurant soon and I highly recommend you reach out to Mark if you need a bbq caterer. I did not think to take pictures unfortunately.

My family & I went here a couple of days ago to grab a late lunch/early dinner after a nice hike from the falls. The workers here were phenomenal, our server was David & he was super sweet & very outgoing. As a family of 11 people, oftentimes our orders are messed up or something is missing. But at this place David was super patient with taking everyones' orders, he even checked up on us several times to make sure everyone was good. Such a beautiful area. We were seated without a wait and opted for the patio. We got to watch a wedding below even! Out drinks were great. I had the Bahama mama. It was definitely pretty. Our food was all hot and fresh. We ordered pizzas to go also to take back with us and they were amazing! It was on the pricy side but that's to be expected for the area. The only thing we still ate but wasn't our favorite was the cheese for the pretzel bites. It wasn't horrible but it was grainy not very creamy. The food here is phenomenal, the hot wings are incredible and cooked to perfection. The pretzels were delicious and soft, the chili was a sweet chili and absolutely delightful. I had the Caesar salad with yummy salmon and the dressings are all made in house. To top it all off, Kathy our servers was absolutely FANTASTIC. There was at least 20-30 lady bugs, 4 stink bugs, and a baby lizard 😳 the continental breakfast was horrible also👎my advice would be stay in asheville and come up to Lake Lure for the day.

It was easy to make reservations. Ms. Julie was very efficient as other staff. Please note it's pet friendly but you must call ahead for availability. A Continental Breakfast is also included. I have one negative comment I would like to bring to managements attention though. The first round of draft beer was served a bit warm.
