There was a generous amount of fish on each taco. However, there was a gigantic helping of guacamole on the top (guac does not belong on fish tacos) and some not so good tasting coleslaw. My son had the cheese burger, and I've never in 16 years not seen him finish his burger... today was a first. Now, the staff were on point with their service, very friendly and quick. But, when I asked our waitress to take the fish and chips off of our bill because my wife literally only choked down one piece of the fish and set it aside, she was friendly about it, but then walked away and started taking to another waitress about us wanting it taken off and gave us the side eye, and it was obvious that she was not talking so nicely about us. My wife and I travel from state to state on our vacation to try seafood specifically and I hate the to be the guy that goes against all the other reviews here, but I call em like I see them, and this place is faking the seafood they serve the customers that eat there. I'm sorry to have to leave a review like this for such a well rated place.

After a disappointing dinner last night at a different establishment, we were desperate to take our parents to a good breakfast. All 4 of us were very impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive. We came at a very busy time, but we were surprised how quickly our food came. We thought it would take much longer. Coffee was tasty. Nice kid menu: our kiddos loved the quesadillas and Spanish rice & shredded chicken. They do not have a changing table in the restroom which is a miss (you have to change your baby on the floor basically). Adding a foldable table to the right of the sink should be doable if they want to be really inclusive of families. Otherwise, the staff is friendly. Be sure to snag some of their homemade hot sauce. The habanero sauce has a nice kick.

I did a trip down the coast starting in Portland and this was for some reason a restaurant I was really looking forward to going to. The views are amazing, the atmosphere on the patio specifically is great and the staff were very kind and attentive. The food on the other hand was extremely disappointing. The sides were OK. At $31 it was overpriced for the quality especially when the salmon was not cooked correctly. Every other time we've eaten at the Drift Inn it has been great. The best seats are on their back patio. The main restaurant area is a little run down and could use some updating. Because of our previous experiences, that there are still quite a few 5 star ratings, and we've never had less than a 5 star experience previously, we will likely be back and hope the chef is better. We were here for our anniversary and decided to treat ourselves to a fancy room. The stay was an absolute mixed bag honestly. Walking up to the hotel it doesn't look terribly fancy. A little dated, a little beat up by the sea air. The inside, of course, it what matters most though. At check in, the front desk agent was abrupt...then ended up being super helpful. The room was beautiful. Really big whirlpool bathtub right by the window with a crazy spot-lit view. Downside was there was bird poop all over said view. The cute little towel set that is supposed to be two swans or a heart? They were just in a pile, no swan. All it would've taken is a tiny band to hold the beaks together. it was a sweet touch I was disappointed didn't happen. We called the front desk and asked if someone might squeegee the window. Maintenance never showed up. We went to use said whirlpool and realized after it was full that there were no bathrobes as we should have had. Quick search assisted by front desk and then waited for someone to bring them. The person arrived and sort of interrogated my guy about the robes, like we were hiding them and might steal the new set. It was...off-putting. After reheating, tub was wonderful...until I got out and noticed a 5 inch chunk of the bathtub corner was broken off. I couldn't un-see the damage after that. The seats by the window were super roomy and comfortable to watch the waves...but if you look down, the vents or whatever were all rusted out. We tried their restaurant twice. First time, our server was wonderful. They even comped our crème brulee for our anniversary, which was very thoughtful. The dessert was ok. More custard then crème brulee, but still tasty. We went back and had a different server in the bar another day. Really odd interactions, felt a little ignored, nothing specific. But after the meal, which was pretty tasty, he helped us out on another issue. The room itself kept it's temperature really well, even when we opened the windows for the ocean breeze and left for several hours. Water pressure good, decently comfortable bed, odd placement of toiletries, trash cans, and absolutely no drawers or storage for my clothes. I had to keep all the things I didn't hang up in my bag. Even super 8 has drawers. That was really weird. The spotlight on the water was magical. LOVED it. Walking by the water was a really pleasant experience. So, as you can see...very mixed bag. I hoped for perfection for my anniversary. I did not get that, but honestly, the view alone was probably worth the 250 a night. I don't know if we will stay here again. But maybe.

I have had most of the treatments on the service menu, and have enjoyed each and every one of them. Each treatment is unique and they have all left me feeling like a million bucks. The staff at the Overleaf Spa is top notch and very friendly. They all work very hard to ensure you have the best experience possible. They make me feel like a valued friend and client each time I come in, and that feels great. I always leave the spa feeling like I did something good for myself. My only regret is that I didn’t start coming to the spa sooner!

Went to pick it up and was greeted by Dawn. Very welcoming and personable. Cool vibe inside, almost a 50's diner feel to it. Pizza was ready on time. They only have 1 size, 16", although with the ample toppings, seemed larger. Crust is definitely not thin but not overly thick. Just right for holding the amount of sauce, toppings and cheese they put on. One of the better pizzas I have had in some time. Highly reccommend.
