And man was I right! We had a combo plate with brisket, pulled pork, potatoes, cornbread, and coleslaw. Everything was delicious, with my favorites being the brisket and cornbread. But one thing they don’t have there is lunch - unless you count getting some a can of SPAM from the gift shop and going to town on a bench outside. I can’t speak to the barbecue at this barbecue restaurant but the fact that they had home-made sauces is a good sign. But if you’re in town for SPAM and you want a mouthful to go with your eyeful, you could definitely enjoy yourself here. We asked if we could have to go glasses and got a snide "ya I guess I can do that." At 825pm, we went to fill our cups and the machines were all turned off. Is the place is supposed to be open until 9pm, we should not have been to feel rushed out by 8pm, machines should not have been off before 830pm. If open till 9pm, people should be able to walk in and order at 830pm. Very disappointed to have to cut our celebration short. 😢😓😪
