Restaraunt has conventional appearance and theming with a nice wall painted mural outside. The menu has a variety of offerings, typical of what you would find at most restaurants. Also, since it's on the Suwannee River, it's like a watercraft drive-in with easy docking. The food was tasty. Had their burger and fries and those portions were fillingl and a decent value. Also the stuffed shrimp were very good, but with only 3 shrimp on the plate, it didn't seem like a good value despite coming with two generous sides. The service was excellent, although our lunchtime meal took a while to come out. Gotta try that outdoor bar when it's not sweltering hot outside. And they are very dog friendly outdoors.

We visited in May 2025. It’s easy to miss the entrance because it’s before the actual building and sign for the building. But not drastically so. We missed it and just took the second entrance past Big T. It is set up like an old truck stop and from what I understand, that is exactly what it is. I was told it was a very popular truck stop back in the days when the road was far less traveled along there. The building itself shows signs of its age and history, yet is still inviting to folks as a good place to stop and enjoy a good meal. There are some quirky things like a one stall unisex style bathroom in the back room. But that is only the toilet section. The sink and such is outside the restroom itself. Like I said, quirky. Then they have this row of three antique phone booths in the back room. There are no phones in the booths, but these three old wooded booths look to be in great shape. It gave the place a little more character. The front room has mostly tables and such. But the back room was mostly booth tables. We were seated in the back room. As such, we sat in a booth. The food itself seemed decent. My meal was good. But it’s also fair to say that it was not absolutely the best meal that I’ve ever had. But it was pretty good and by far was not the worst. But let me be clear, we did enjoy our meal. So my comment was by no means meant to be a shot, or derogatory in any way. The food was good. But to be fair, it is also not 5 star cuisine. Just a good meal without all the fanciness . We found the prices to also be reasonable. Obviously that depends on different peoples outlooks or opinions. Shrimp, cod, crab cake, catfish and mullet. Any combination and all you can eat. Plus your choice of 3 sides. I know I shouldn’t have too high of an expectation with McDonald’s, but when I pay for something, I’d like to get what I pay for. I understand that a 10 piece only comes with two sauces which is why I pay extra for extra sauce. Also, a 10 piece should have 10, not 9 like the last 5 I’ve gotten from here. I know counting isn’t a super strong suit for these employees much like reading, but if the person counting the nuggets needs help, maybe start double checking. Tired of not getting what I pay for. I’ll never walk out that door without checking ever again. But yet they want $18 an hour. Give me a break. Until you can follow what’s on the receipt and give correct orders, don’t expect much more than minimum wage. It wasn’t even busy. One car in the drive thru and myself in the lobby. Oh, and the kiosk pay wasn’t working so I had to stand at the counter waiting for the super cool teenage kid to get done on his phone just to pay. Get it together people. It’s not hard. Walked in and was greeted by the waitress. We sat anywhere and they quickly had chips and salsa on our table. Drinks were quick too. We ordered food and chatted as we waited.
