It still tasted delicious as I love a good garlic bread and tomato soup 🥫 💰 Price: The price was alright considering there was food and show. The drinks, as well as the picture when you enter the building were expensive. However, considering you get to keep your glass as a souvenir and just pay for refills, the pricing made sense. To see if and where there might be other hidden Gems here throughout our state that we can find to reach the bar set by Thistle... The fish was delicious, moist with a hard crunchy, not oily outer crust, matched with tasty fries and a coleslaw that brought back memories... Those memories of my Grandfather's New England style coleslaw recipe that he brought back from Nana & Pop Pop's Summer Vacations in Vermont. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it’s BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area. But honestly it definitely was not worth the hype. We had calamari that was soggy and you can taste the freezer in it, it was not crunchy as if it had been fried and the marinara for the calamari had chunks of whole tomatoes in it which makes no sense because there's no way to pick up the tomatoes on the calamari. I will say the flavor of the marinara was good though. Our pizza was a plain pizza that was over cooked and had a bit of a burnt bottom. Waitress brought out water and bread. The water had a funny taste and the bread was not warm and was actually a bit hard. My son and I decided to just get entrees to maybe save some room for dessert later, so we ordered our main courses. He ordered Chicken Francaise over linguine. He said it was alright but really didn’t have any lemony flavor whatsoever. I ordered the MARISCADA RED, seafood combo in marinara sauce. It was definitely not how I remembered it being! It was on the stinky side which made me question the freshness of the seafood and the sauce was so watered down you couldn’t even get a good taste for the mariscada sauce. This was so disappointing!!!! I was really looking forward to this dinner but I left there extremely upset. The food and service has by far gone way down hill in recent years.
