The menu has very few items, and the first two share the exact same description, but with different names. The food portions were quite small for the price. Introduced to me by an old friend and coworker I was extremely skeptical at first. Going to a gas station to have sushi sounded like a horrible idea to me. Technically it isn’t the gas station but it is part of the same building. I was quickly proven wrong and have been a repeat customer for over 4-5 years. Their quality is always high, food fresh and service friendly and attentive. Their combos are very reasonably priced and their rolls aren’t overly expensive. Food was ready in a decent amount of time. About 30 minutes for takeout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They had a few people waiting around dinner time. The chow mein was average, the barbecue pork fried rice was great and full of flavor but had an insane amount of peas, the almond chicken was good with an unusual twist, they sprinkle sugar on top, in all my years of ordering Chinese food no one else has done that. They blend the sugar with the crushed almonds for the topping. It reminds me of the sugary coating on donuts. It actually tasted pretty good. I was not a fan of the honey garlic pork. My usual place in Surrey puts on a generous coating of sauce leaving a pool of sauce in the bottom of the container. They're all sticky and dripping with flavor and you can spoon the excess sauce in the container over the food on your plate. But the honey garlic pork at this place was almost dry. I couldn't taste the honey or garlic at all. I also wasn't a fan of the size of the pork pieces in the honey garlic pork. For me the smaller the better. I like the nice crispy ones. The pork chunks here were very large. I got a few super long ones the size of chicken strips. They should be diced much smaller. The pieces were so large it just wasn't appetizing. The chunks look like chicken wings. That spring rolls I guess are hit and miss. We ordered two. One was perfect nice and crispy and the other one was completely soggy. I don't know what happened there. Overall I think their prices are just a bit too high for what you're getting.

We had take out and ordered butter chicken, mango chicken, aloo ghobi, samosas and naan bread. The food was very tasty and fresh, the packaging sturdy. The staff were also very helpful for helping us through a food allergy related to their menu. The butter chicken sauce was among some of the best I've had, and the mango chicken dish had a very pleasantly strong mango flavor and was the winner of the evening. The aloo ghobi and samosa were fair to good. I think the restaurant is still working to hit its stride though. There were some inconsistencies in terms of allergens on the ubereats menu VS. When I had called in. The chicken on the mango chicken was perfection, but the butter chickens chicken was quite overcooked. We had also requested mild and I would be surprised if the butter chicken was truly their mildest version (though, again, it was excellent). I am hopeful that some of these kinks are worked out and that we will have another go to restaurant locally. My kids all made short work of devouring the meal ,and my one son made an extra plate up for lunch the next day ,as the portion size of dishes were quite large. My next door neighbors and a close friend all agreed that this was exceptional food and would be returning to the restaurant as well as I, for more. I became the first customer , and I'm so glad I was honored with this as I was bestowed the highest level of treatment and service. I placed a mobile order for a coffee frappe, but when I got to the second window, I was handed a vanilla chai frappe instead. Before I could even say anything, the window was shut right in the middle of me trying to speak. I waited a bit, assuming someone would check back, but nobody did, even though I clearly saw three employees inside. I had to honk four times (one long honk included) before someone finally looked outside. When a worker finally acknowledged me, she asked if I was waiting for something, and after explaining the mistake, she went back to check and eventually handed me the correct drink with an apology. While I appreciate the correction, it felt like I had to fight just to be heard, and that’s incredibly frustrating. What made it worse is that this isn’t a one off issue. Every time I come to this location during late hours, something is either incorrect or done with very little effort. Just the other night, I decided to try the new Biscoff McFlurry, and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. It looked nothing like what was advertised barely any ice cream, barely any Biscoff, just a sad cup of vanilla soft serve with the slightest crunch. Presentation was non existent, and it tasted just as bland. To top it off, while finishing my corrected frappe, I found a hard, brown piece of something in my mouth (photo below). As someone who works in fast food myself, I can only guess it might’ve been syrup residue (looks like a booger but dont want to assume the worse) but either way, it made me uncomfortable. Working in this industry for 5+ years, I understand both sides of the counter. But there’s a basic standard at McDonald’s, the “golden rule” of not serving food you wouldn’t eat yourself. This location routinely fails that. And if overnight workers are being paid more for the shift, it’s only fair customers receive food and service that reflect that. Especially in today’s economy, when every dollar counts, customers should not have to chase down staff or feel like they’re being a nuisance for expecting a correct and decently made order. This location seriously needs a management review of its overnight operations. Until then, I’ll be thinking twice before returning at these hours. I genuinely hope that management or someone higher up sees this review, because it’s not written out of anger, it’s written out of honesty. And the fries were way overcooked they were all rock hard I didn’t even eat them out of fear of chipping my teeth. Needless to say I’ll be avoiding this McDonalds at all costs.
