Great service, great atmosphere, great food in the most unlikely of places, a parking lot in a strip mall. We were traveling on a cruise and had a parasailing day at Sapphire beach (also highly recommend). When we were done, we asked someone where we could go to go shopping and get some food, at first she told us just go back the cruise shops. We then mentioned we'd really like some conch fritters, she then immediately came back with, "Duffy's! Go to Duffy's" So we take a taxi from Saphire Beach to Duffys ($6 per person) and we stop in the parking lot in the strip mall. We are looking all over the strip mall and cannot find this restaurant and then we turn around and see this little shack in this already small parking lot, but don't let that deter you, really it just positively adds to the experience. They have menus that are on small pieces of bamboo that can double as a fan(fun). The atmosphere is just what you'd want from an island bar and grill. There was great local art and chickens literally walking around. Prices were reasonable, not cheap, but for island prices really not bad. Drink prices, great! You can get a shot and get to keep the shot glass for less than a shot glass at the neighboring gift shop. Also, we like to collect logo'd bar cups and these came with our beverages. We got the "Caribbean PuPu platter". It came out in sections with the most delicious fried foods and to top it off a little mini grill to grill our pineapple on. This was my favorite, little thing. I cant say enough great things about all of the little things. The staff was EXCELLENT! Andy took such great care of us with a smile on his face and thew in a few jokes here and there. Duffy's also had shirts at a great price with what also seems to be reprints of local art, we loved these shirts and were able to secure 4 of them for less than the neighboring stores and it was just a reminder of what a great time we had there. Thank you Andy and the rest of the staff for such a memorable experience. If we are ever in St. Thomas again, this will be the first place we stop! I highly recommend Duffy's! It was the hidden gem after our trip to Sapphire Beach!

I went with such high expectations excited to relive our wedding experience and to tell the staff what an awesome time we had...But again that was short lived...We walked out (not noticed) the same as when we walked in...No Love at this "Love Shack" pun intended...I will just say this ...if you are a brown or black person..just keep it moving...even if you go with a crowd and the act pleased to see you...they arent!....sad sad sad times we are living in...And yes all my 5 star ratings were reduced to 1 and none....Like a wise man once told me..A good name is won by many acts...but can be lost by one!!!

My wife had the clams and fresh linguine it was excellent!! She is very picky about this meal and it exceeded her expectations. I had the Salmon over lemon artichoke risotto and it was also excellent. The risotto was cooked perfectly and so was the salmon. There was a nice topping of fresh greens and pickled onions that was so tasty. We each had a glass of the house Chardonnay and it was perfect with both meals. So we did. Burger and fries are good, slightly unseasoned but definitely fresh, fries are great . Understand that the directions guide you to the wrong place a parking lot. This restaurant is on the second floor of a shopping plaza. It is chic, open air, and right on the water. Our server Malachi was wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The jerk shrimp tostadas were the highlight of the night. For our entree as suggested by Ajani my husband elected to have the Woodfired Wahoo over orzo with a side of roasted wild mushrooms and he said the Wahoo was good portion and had a nice taste. I myself had Seafood Risotto also with a side of wild mushrooms. My risotto was very tasty with a decent flavor that accented the seafood nicely. I had a bit of worry about it, as a review I saw stated it was lacking in flavor, but I did not find that at all. For dessert, we chose to share a Chocolate Fondant, I found it to be quite flavorful. The cake was nicely dense in the center with a textured shell and it was paired with a nice light vanilla ice cream Ambiance: The Easterly is located right on the harbor water but it is a very cozy contemporary coastal setting. I would absolutely recommend making this a stop at the very least once while visiting St Thomas. Great job Ajani and Easterly staff and thank you for a wonderful dinner.

I was only fooling myself about the entrees coming out with the apps because it took forever for the main dishes to come out after that. So the speed of service was 2.5. I ordered a large lobster coconut curry, so I knew it was going to be expensive. My wife ordered the snapper picatta. You can see the pics of both of our meals. Now mine was large. And it did have some large chunks of lobster. I can guarantee you, though, they did NOT use this entire lobster in MY dish. The amount of lobster in my dish was not equivalent to the size of the lobster tail shell they served it in. They served my meal with the wrong two sides, but it had taken so long to get, I decided to just let it be. The flavor is pretty good. Mildly sweet without the curry being overpowering. The presentation looks like a big ole mess, though. The amount of lobster was not worth the $148 they charged me for it, so value of meal gets a 2 stars. After tallying everything, they actually get a 2.56 stars but Google doesn't let you do that so 3 stars. There might be other things that would be better, but I doubt I would come back just for the ambiance of the location.
