But the audacity to charge that much is just mind blowing…Cold, Overcooked Noodles with Veggies…does it get any more basic and cheap?!! Luckily we did get 5 small white rice containers…we are making sure to eat every last bit of this meal as each grain of rice is like a flake of gold. Can’t waste it! If we had gone to their sit-down restaurant next door for dinner and had experienced a hot meal in a nice ambiance with table service, then I would not be leaving this review…I would expect to pay this for a nice sit down meal on this island. But for basic (still good) cold Thai food in plastic containers??? This place is either a serious ripoff or made a mistake. This meal was our biggest complaint about St Barts. Other than this unfortunate experience, we absolutely loved our time there.

We came for our friend’s birthday and arrived on time for our 9:30 dinner reservation but were not seated at our table until after 10 pm. The pictures online are lovely and the space itself is even better in real life. It's as if we were transported deep into a tropical dining paradise. We started with the fois gras and it was a wonderfully classic preparation. Rich and creamy with port wine which paired wonderfully with the tropical fruit compote. I had the coconut curry shrimp as an entree. The yellow curry was flavorful but mild and luscious. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. My husband had a seafood stew special. The broth alone was spectacular, full of onions and vegetables and all of the seafood was well prepared. We ended the meal with a pavlova for me and a scoop of ice-cream for my husband. The pavlova was crunchy and creamy with beautiful tropical fruit. The restaurant got quite crowded while we were there and the staff kept up with everything working together. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a great time. It was such a lovely meal. Don't miss out if you have the chance to dine here!

Our service could’ve been better we noticed that the waitress brought out our bread and that’s it but for other guest around us she placed the bread and prepared the olive oil plate for them. Also we asked about beach chairs and was told they were fully booked and the only option they had available was a cabana which was 300. We wanted to enjoy the beach so we went on a purchase a cabana, because it was my friend’s birthday. We noticed that the beach beds they claimed to be fully booked that were 100 was never occupied and we were there from 12pm-5:30pm. Also after checking our bank statements they over charged us. Drinks were extremely over priced it was 25 dollars for a margarita that comes in a regular cocktail glass. My chicken was underwhelming and my zucchini side was thin raw slices. It was not sautéed and flavorful. My friend’s lobster pasta was 150 once again extremely overpriced for the portion size. So many wonderful dishes to share. We started with a jamon from Spain along with their incredible butter service and fresh toasted French bread. The butter is from a French dairy farm and is served at some of the finest restaurants in France. We then shared sardines, beef tartare, house made fois gras, onion soup, escargot, duck confit with potato, and the parmesan pasta. Every bite was better than the next. For dessert we had the creme brulee, tarte tartin, and an indugent coffee mousse dessert. Chef's Kiss to everything. The service is impeccable. They truly care about your experience.
