We recently had the pleasure of having our wedding reception at the Boatshed Restaurant. From the very beginning Sophia was an absolute superstar and made the planning process seamless and stress free. We had originally planned to have a small legal ceremony before our main wedding in Bali however a month before our legal ceremony we made the decision to make it the one and only celebration which meant we had to more than triple our original numbers for lunch. We visited the Boatshed restaurant and met with the owner Graham who showed us the venue (that he had built!) and talked us through some options for the day, he was so genuine, warm and welcoming, it was apparent he really cared about making the day special for us. Leading up to the day Sophia went above and beyond to make the day special and stress free. She made menus, seating charts and drinks lists for us even accommodating my preferred font and sunset design. The venue set up on the day was absolutely beautiful, we dropped off some floral arrangements and a cake the day before and the room was absolutely perfect. The venue overlooks the swan river so our guests enjoyed an incredible view while they were looked after by the incredible staff! We had a two course set menu for our guests and the food was incredible. We really felt so blessed we had chosen the Boatshed Restaurant as our reception venue, they far exceeded our expectations and we will forever be recommending this beautiful family run venue. Thank you sooo much again Graham, Sophia and the Boatshed Team truly a day we will never forget!

The design of the place is really nice and there’s a good atmosphere and would be a great spot to go to before a show at his majesty’s theatre as they have menu items that can be done quickly, they also have cool pictures on the wall about the entertainment industry which was cool. We ordered the Greek lamb salad and the chicken parmigiana as well as their two mocktails on the menu. We really loved the mocktails and I would highly recommend them for those being sober. The Greek lamb salad was a bit average in my opinion and the lamb was quite dry when we went. The chicken parmigiana was done really nicely tho and the chips with it were quite nice too, the side salad the parmigiana was average but I think that’s standard for a parmigiana side salad. The service was pretty good, the staff taking us to a table and taking our order were friendly and when we finished our meal and drinks the table was quickly cleaned up.

What an awesome experience. Came here for the first time to celebrate my partner's 24th birthday by booking their limited time Glamping Tent. This came with a BIG platter of food for only $40pp. We had the option to add bottomless drinks for $30 at time of booking but went with the option of paying as we went as my partner wanted to try the cocktail tasting paddle and some other beverages. We were mostly looked after by Andrew all night who seemed to be the manager(?) or shift supervisor at the very least and he was AMAZING. Super attentive, friendly, great service and gave my partner a complimentary beverage for his birthday. The complimentary glasses of mulled wine with the package were delicious and so was everything on the food platter! Tasting paddle of cocktails were also incredible and we were treated to a lovely fire show for the winter solstice. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!

All the staff were really friendly, attentive and helpful. I was really impressed. We even stayed past the closing time but they didn’t rush us and let us stick around until it was really time for them to close the gate. Food was great too. I really enjoyed all the dishes. In particular the grilled halloumi and chargrilled chicken. I love all the flavours. They are well balanced, creative and not a typical pub fare at all. Drinks selection were pretty good. The bartender accommodated my friend custom mix as well. Space was nice and relaxing with a lot of space between tables. Music was not too loud. These allows you to have a good chat with your friends without feeling like you’re inside a noisy bar. Would love to return here during the day or warmer nights as the outdoor space looked really lovely.

Son and I called on a busy well attended Saturday for lunch but not fully crowded. We had steaks which were perfectly cooked and very tender. Best I've experienced in ages. Son is a steak man afficionado and was very happy. Generous serves including the sides. In our case veges and chips. Only quibble was the duck fat potatoes were cooked with chilli or some sort of (mild) heat agent and had too much heat to balance properly with the rest of the meal. Chef should try paprika or smoked paprika with garlic instead which lifts the flavour level of the humble spud, goes very well with potatoes - but doesn;t overpower - especially as rosemary was the herb we saw on our plates. Everything should harmonise, not have one contradictory element. All heat or no heat! Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and time there. Parking: Convenient location with lots of parking! Not sure how it would be during the day, but at night time was easy to find a spot. Restaurant: Spacious and quaint all at the same time. Lots of seating. Drinks: It is a BYO venue, however there is a liquor store in the same complex so makes life a little easier (in case you forget to bring an alcoholic beverage with you). Food: Quality of food was excellent! We ordered the chili prawns and goat curry as mains, both were fresh, flavorful and satisfying! The food came out fairly quick, yet was evident it had been prepared and made fresh. The chili prawns came with garlic bread and the sauce was the perfect blend of ingredients, all in all a fabulous dish (surprisingly filling for an entree). Dessert: We had the apple bomb (I think it was called?), which was apple served in a tortilla wrap (similar to a crepe style) with raspberry, strawberry, ice cream and cream. We were well taken care of by our waitress Keira and nothing was to much to ask. Food was delicious and of high standard. Entre was Kingfish Ceviche; loved it. Main fish (Barramundi) was bland, but not a fishy tast, just the proper 'white fish' taste. But in combination with the rest on the plate, it came to life and a true sensation for the taste buds. Desert was of the right sweetness and some 'sour' patches which made you long for more. This was the first time for our son to eat "fancy" and he loved it. Next visit on our list will be the high tea option. Although not one of the cheapest restaurant, its food is fabulous and the view is magnificent from the 33rd floor and a 360 turn in roughly an hour. So, saw a lot of the greater Perth area during the lunch. Definitely recommend C Restaurant.

We booked ahead which was good as the restaurant was packed by 7pm. Unfortunately the evening was unseasonably cool otherwise I think the alfresco area would have been a fantastic place to sit. We had a main and coffee each and it all came to a few cents under $20 per person which is amazing for South Perth. The Pad Thai came in a generous portion (especially for an Asian palate). I enjoyed the chewiness of the noodles and the overall flavour, it was really good. I’ve never been to Thailand, so I’m not sure how my preferences compare to the authentic version. The Massaman curry included four large chunks of beef and potatoes. The coffee is outstanding and the breakie burger/ham+cheese croissant were some of the best I've had. Whilst the cafe is small and it can feel very cramped whilst waiting to order, the service here is impeccable and your not waiting for long. Staff here always greet you with a smile and most importantly, always get your order correct.
