Food was fresh and the service was quick. We ordered the goulash, the tomato soup comfort meal, and the Monte Cristo. Everything arrived hot and tasted pretty good! The roll that came with the goulash was perfect and the grilled cheese sandwich that came with the tomato soup was excellent...just the right mix of toasted and soft. Both soup meals came with a cookie which was kind of terrible honestly. For a bakerynto have such a flavorless chocolate chip cookie was a little disappointing. Also ordered two cake slices from the bakery, a coconut cake and German chocolate cake. The cake tasted fresh, but the coconut cake was on the bland side. The German chocolate cake was really good, we thought we detected a hint of rum (maybe?) that really made the cake stand out. Outside of being a little confused about how the seating/ordering worked, the staff was quyik and very friendly. I would absolutely stop here again (would not get the chocolate chip cookie though).

To say that diabetic shouldn’t eat cinnamon rolls because they are too sweet is very disrespectful. Although I know that there are other buisnessss who use their bread I can say that I cannot support this resturant due to the lack of quality customer care from their own owner. Good thing they are not the only coffee shop bakery in the area and I’ll be glad to share this experience with others so they won’t have to be disappointed and disrespected as I was. All I wanted was a nice morning to have coffee and meet with friends to support a local business but ended up having to ask why I was over charged and left with a sour taste along with the hardest cinnamon rolls I ever had. Update to respond to owners comment: it clearly states in the email from the sign up through Yelp that I was signing up for support the cause for the Children’s cancer foundation. When I look at your Facebook post about the 25 cent rolls it doesn’t mention a limit nor anything about the foundation so I apologize if I was confused on the responses you gave me. I still paid what I was billed for. I’m also an ongoing supporter and have donated in the past, not just the one time but with other events through Yelp. They had so many options for a morning snack that my daughter and I didn't know what to get. We asked jokingly if they had a sample platter. The extremely helpful and most positively happy lady working the counter offered us samples of pumpkin bread and herb bread, the pumpkin was so soft and had nice pumpkin and spice flavors, I declined the herb bread as I feared I would fill up on samples. Now, if you are looking for a store bought flavor you are in the wrong place. This bread was soft and so obviously freshly baked and absolutely delicious. My sandwich was huge and also delicious. We loved this experience. Not only was everything we tried amazing so were the lovely ladies that worked there. They were so upbeat and exuded positive energy.
