We stayed in Baños for 3 nights and went here 4 times (dinner, brunch, cocktails, then hot chocolate). The food is unique and delicious. Portion sizes are huge, so you could split one main for two, but after you try your first bite you wont want to share. The cocktails are also truly good (finally a not too sweet cocktail), each one prepared by hand with fresh ingredients. Finally, on our last night we were looking for a hot chocolate (it had gotten really cold) so we popped our heads in and asked if they had any. It's not on the menu but they ran to the store and whipped up a proper Ecuadorian hot chocolate that we all loved. The chef is really kind, speaks great English, on our first meal he came out to make sure we ordered what we wanted and then went back and cooked everything for us. We didn't try the sushi so can't comment on that. If you're in Baños definitely try this place.

It was very noisy (the sound from the communal area/lobby carries all through the building) I booked to stay 6 days and really tried to last all 6 but night after night of having terrible sleeps because of all the noise . You can hear people laughing till 4am outside the window and yelling outside the door . Despite sign that says quiet time is after 11pm the useless staff do nothing to control the noise from the random guests who yell all night after coming back clubs clubs at 2am what's worse is that say after 4am it finally stops being loud you cant even sleep in as there's a children's playground or school right across so all the children screaming outside at 7am good luck sleeping in . Sad because the rooms are nice and large but means nothing if its impossible to have a good night's sleep here.

Would be the perfect place to stay if it wasn’t so loud and if the internet worked in all the rooms. Sign posted in the common area stating “quiet place after 11pm” but the staff do nothing to enforce that and we were left with constantly listening to loud music and people yelling at all hours of the night. After people settle down around 3-4am, we were left with listening to the loud beeping noise of what must have been the drier, and not long after that being woken up by screaming children in the courtyard right beside the hostel.
