Lots of other local Chinese takeaways are so expensive now, but Dynasty is so much more affordable and they do not compromise on the quality / taste of their food. We love the food here because it’s ’clean’ and tastes ‘fresh’, what I mean by that is that the food just has a ‘clean’ taste and feeling, it’s not greasy and you can tell the food and vegetables are fresh and that your order has been freshly prepared. The general feel of the restaurant is very cosy and homely, and the food matches. Everything we had a very homemade feel and was very comforting. There was nothing particularly bold, but it didn't to be. It was good food done well. I would definitely recommend and there's something on the menu that everyone can enjoy. The service added to the relaxed atmosphere, with the staff being extremely nice, friendly, and laid back which was very pleasant and refreshing. We did receive the wrong food at first, but this was quickly addressed. We also received the wrong bottle of wine which we also noticed half way through it, and none of the wine we had was particularly good either. But this minor and didnt take away from the experience. Been here a couple of times now and have never been disappointed with the food. Everything is homemade including the desserts. This time both my parter and I had the steak pie with veg and chips. We booked a table and I would recommend this as the restaurant upstairs isn't the largest. The food tasted good. We tried the steak and then a variety of tapas. We had the fish goujons, stuffed peppers and king prawns. I did not like the filling of the stuffed papers, and my friends did not like the aranchi balls they ordered either, but other than that everyone else liked the food. The food tasted good. The only downside is the music is played quite loud so the restaurant was loud for having to talk over each other. First impressions were fantastic, lovely decor, poilte and well dressed server. Greeted immediately on entering and made to feel welcome. The door is slightly broken - it doesn't close properly. Straight away noticing there is no wheelchair access to the upstairs, which is the dining area. Dining area is mostly booths with some chairs, all themed and very well presented. Atmosphere enhanced by the music and smell of incense and spices. After being seated the booth seats are slightly to high for someone as short as me, wasn't entirely comfortable but didn't really pull away from the good experience so far. Food and drink options are in the plenty. Being vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised to see a Bhindi Karahi as an option (See pictured, alongside pilau rice and peshawari naan.) Food was a little disappointing, it was rather salty. However I have to say I'm impressed at the reaction to my comments. They were really receptive to feedback and it all seemed well received. The server was so friendly and honestly one of the best kind of people for the role - had good conversations and made the evening well received despite the issues. I'd still recommend this place, and I intend to visit again. Hoping to enjoy the food a little more next time.

We had coffee both times. The staff are friendly, attentive and courteous. The prices are reasonable and the food looked good (being delivered to other tables). The coffee is delicious. I have latte and it easily rivals the quality of the big chain coffee shops. They also do take out coffee and the take away cups are good quality and insulated with tight fitting lids. The place is very busy (a good sign) and although noisy when full, you can easily hold a conversation without having to shout. There are also a good range of seating options. I would highly recommend this establishment and look forward to the next time I visit.

My son’s glass shattered in his hand (must’ve had a crack in it) let a member of staff know, never removed the said glass or offered to help try clear the glass shards up of the table we where eating on to stop him from getting cut which then lead to my older son getting glass in his hand. Never checked on, never asked if we wanted more drinks or desserts. In the end had to chase the bill and left money on the table never acknowledged paying he bill or us on our way out.

Really enjoyed the food here. The Corriander Naan Bread was one of the best we've had, light and flavourful. We also had samosa and chicken tikka starter, followed by Punjabi Lamb Bhuna and Goan Seabass Curry with pilau rice and Corriander Naan bread. Gorgeous flavours, highly recommend this as a great restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, the food is Halal. The main thing to note is that alcohol isn't served but you can Bring Your Own. If you arrive not knowing this an off-licence is across the road or tesco is a short walk away.

We pre-booked a table and were seated right away upon arrival. This review is from my own perspective rather than the group, but I wanted to leave this to give huge thanks the wait staff with how they handled my allergies. I had been messaging with the restaurant during the week as I have an allergy to sesame and peanuts, so wanted to know if there would be dishes I could eat in advance (if not I would still have happily attended with my friends and just had drinks). They very clearly communicated with me that peanuts would not be an issue but they could not guarantee no cross-contamination with the sesame oil. Upon ordering my meal this was explained to me again, and they confirmed that I would need to accept the risk if I was to order anything, which I confirmed I was happy to do due to the nature of my allergy. Even so, the waitress went out of her way to check with the kitchen which dishes I could eat, and she suggested king prawns with vegetables and boiled rice. This dish was delicious and I was very happy with what I received, and was so grateful that she had put so much time into discussing this with me even though I understand this can be stressful for restaurants! The rest of the group ordered some set meals which I did not eat from, but all said that their food was delicious and we were very happy with the evening overall. Thank you again!

It took an hour for our starters to arrive. My husband ordered prawns, he was served last and was served some sort of small fish fingers. When we questioned it we were told they had no prawns and he should've been told this when ordering. To be fair they did say he could order another but we didn't have a spare hour. I had the 'Beauty & the Beef' burger and it was superb. Absolutely packed with beef Brisket and a couple of thick patties. The brisket was beautifully lean and drenched in tasty gravy. The chunks of burnt ends fell apart nicely too. I normally prefer a BBQ sauce coating but this burger was still top tier for me. The bun appeared a bit cheap but was buttered well and tasted great. It also held together despite the drenching of gravy and meat juices. I also had sweet potato fries. A generous portion and were delightfully crisp too. To add to my meat sweats I had the King BBQ Rib starter on the side. It was a little bit fattier than I'd have liked and slightly chewy but had a delicious BBQ sauce coating. Overall some amazing food in a nice place and good service from really friendly staff. Definitely somewhere I'd recommend for a meaty treat.

If anyone is planning a visit there, don't bother and save your money. The service was terrible and slow, and the food was tasteless. After arriving, we were seated quickly and asked if we would like to order a drink, we said yes, ordered, and had to wait about 15 minutes before the drinks finally arrived, bearing in mind it wasn't very busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and requested to sit outside, which was obliged. It had a relaxing atmosphere and was nice to sit in the sun with a beer/ cider. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. When the mains came we hadn’t been given any cutlery from the starters (which wasn’t an issue for us, we just asked for some) but the staff were apologetic and said they should have noticed. Really nice lunch, would definitely return. We all left feeling so full.
