Had a fabulous family meal whilst staying at the hotel.
Setting was great looking out over the animal areas & the seats were super comfy!

I have a very low fat diet at the moment for medical reasons, so had gone into the restaurant in the afternoon to ask if they were able to prepare me something. Member of staff was very friendly & approachable and got the chef for me to speak to, who said he could make me something without any problem. They recognised me when we arrived for our reservation later & he prepared a very delicious plain meal & consulted me as to what I could & couldn't have. ( My wee girl even stole some of my new potatoes as they were so tasty) My husband & daughters meals were fab too! The kids meals are great quality and great value for money...she said her burger was delicious!
Thanks to the whole team & the chef who made my night away from home with a special dietary need a whole lot more enjoyable & stress free!
Would definitely return if back for another stay at the hotel.

If you like to pay WAY too much for convenience food, this is the right place for you. 3 minutes after ordering, the food was on the table. Interesting, right? I can buy the same quality in the supermarket and make it in my own microwave ... to be honest, we had the same experience in other food outlets in the other UK Merlin Parks such as Alton Towers. Aramark is very bad ...
The next time we will order some Domino's pizza or something elsewhere.

The chicken skewers were pretty good, tasted nice and cooked well, a good salad and decent bread. The ribs were also pretty tasty so quite happy with the quality of the food plus the portion sizes are generous.
The only negative would be the price of the food and drink which is a little steep.
Lots of staff who were all friendly and accommodating.
The best thing about this restaurant is the surroundings. A lovely, clean space with comfortable seating and a beautiful view of the safari area.
Overall a pleasant experience.

We had a table booked for 6pm, arrived at just gone 10 to 6. The woman at the counter ignored us the entire time we stood there while she tapped on the screen before acknowledging us. She was very lackluster as she seated us and told us someone would be along to serve us. Sat at the table I noticed it hadn't been wiped down properly as there were crumbs and salt around the sauce stand and at the edge of the table. Watching one of the staff, I noticed how they easily missed this when cleaning down another table. I could see the ring of condensation from the jug that had been sat at the table, after he had already put his spray and cloth away. Around 15 minutes later someone came to take our order, we asked for a jug of water (as the price for a large coke was £5 so you could imagine the alcohol) and our food, (Wayama burger and Korean sesame chicken strips). It was 14 minutes before I had to ask the girl where our water was, and the food came out between 10 to 15 minutes after that. The KSCS were flavourful but could have been hotter (in temperature) and the coleslaw was watery (assuming it was the bottom of the tub). The burger was underwhelming for £20 it was just a cheeseburger with a large tomato some lettuce, fresh red onions, and a tiny pickle on a skewer, (it was a slice of proper cheddar not fake cheese 👍). It could have been cheaper, or some fancy gazelle meat or something. The skin on fries were the best part of the meal, as they were the hottest thing on both plates. As you can see on the takeaway menu the burger is called the Wayama Cheeseburger. And it must be smaller or something because it's only £1 to add the bacon instead of the £1.50 you pay in restaurant.
Though slow the staff were friendly and smiling. It did however look like a badly disorganised front of house.

Great option at an overpriced restaurant. This combo comes with onion rings, Korean cauliflower bits, pork belly bits, chicken wings, squid bits and coleslaw. I would massively recommend this. It's great value for money (based off the over priced menu lol). I wouldn't recommend the nacho sharer because of the salsa. Maybe ask for it on the side.

After reading some poor reviews was a bit apprehensive about eating here but actually it is to be expected for a theme park restaurant. Food was good. Other posts mention prices being high but pretty standard for South East/London prices. 2 adults and 2 kids, 4 beers and 2 soft drinks, and a dessert came to less than £90. Pretty average where we come from. Service was good too.

Didnt get our drinks until we finished eating starters. Politely told them and I was met with the bars busy and behind on orders, even though people ordering after us was getting their orders. Pros - Only £5 for under 5s (£4 with annual pass discount). Price includes all courses inc. Ice cream factory. No service charge. Good value for kids under 5 and with the annual pass discount. Roast dinner was good. Kids nuggets were actual chicken breast. Salad bar good. Ice cream factory good. Prawn crackers and sweet chilli sauce. :)
Cons -expensive for kids 5 and over (£18). Only one roast choice (pork). Curries weren’t great. You have to pay extra for refill soft drinks - I suppose that’s ok though.

Upon arriving the atmosphere was very attractive and appealing but once seated we were walked to the back of the restaurant as all the tables around us were yet to be cleaned.hoped the food would perhaps make up for it. Overpriced slop with added costs that I couldn’t work out. Hardly any choices and what was there was really only matter, not worth the extortionate price tag. Pictures Receipt shows the price for two adults and two 5 and under. Disgusting. The breakfast was like something from the 80s. Basic fry up, a few cereals and some manky fruit. The coffee and tea was like something from a scout hut.

Literally the worst food experience I have ever had and would never recommend it.
We only went there because it was the only halal place we could find in Chessington (ie the vegetarian option), but we paid more than £22 per adult and nearly £13 for our four year old daughter. The total came to nearly £60, which was ridiculous considering there were only two items on the menu (not counting the salad, garlic bread and drink, since salads and garlic breads are usually free in many pizza places). The were no chips nor any other sides; for that price they should have added some sides.
For £60, at Jimmy's O2 we get about hundred items. Considering this was a buffet, surely they could have offered a few more items or just don't charge so much. Spending that much for only two items just was not worth it, expecially considering the food was rubbish; if I wasn't hungry I wouldn't have touched that food. To be fair, it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't eat it even when I am hungry. The pasta was awful and the pizza was trailing behind Domino's and Pizza Hut, or any local place for that matter. If you're gonna charge so much, then at least make your food worth the asking price.
Would strongly recommend against this place. Next time we will just take a packed lunch if halal options are limited.

I don’t even know where to start with Chessington’s all-you-can-eat pizza place. These pizza buffets used to be decent across all the Merlin parks — nothing fancy, but good enough to fill you up without feeling robbed. Now? It’s turned into an extortionate, low-quality circus run by people who clearly couldn’t care less about the food, the guests, or the concept of edible pizza.
The pizzas look and taste like they were made by someone who lost a bet. You’re paying a premium for food that has all the charm of cardboard with cheese sprinkled on top by someone who’s actively angry at mozzarella. The atmosphere? Picture a school canteen, but somehow more depressing — like the staff are daring you to complain.
It honestly feels like Merlin realised guests were hungry and thought, “Perfect, let’s charge them a small fortune for the bare minimum and hope they don’t notice.” Well, I noticed. And I’m highly disgusted. This used to be a fun, reliable option — now it’s a full-blown insult disguised as a buffet.
Next time, I’ll bring a pic nic.

Went there today to get a takeaway, I asked if they had a menu and options, and they were so miserable the staff, all they had was margaherita and pepperoni pizzas, garlic bread and pasta and the waitress lady who was standing with the man at the till she was just staring at me and giving me looks and non of them understood I had learning difficulties. Really nice Beefeater!
When here after visiting Chessington for the day and was pleasantly surprised. Wanted somewhere to eat that would fill us up and not have the extortionate prices that the park has.
The food was great, although the chicken was slightly over cooked but we overlooked this. The staff where great and very friendly and polite.
The menus wasn’t too badly prices and the kids 3 course mean for £5.99 was brilliant value.
If we were ever this way again I’d definitely revisit.

Really enjoyed Sunday lunch. It was my partners Birthday. Food fabulous so much so we took a doggy bag home for evening dinner. Classic British chain serving steaks, burgers and more. The restaurant itself is spacious and cosy and there is plenty of parking.
As the restaurant is called beefeater I would have expected the steaks to be nice and flavourful but unfortunately it’s just nothing special. Yeah it’s bit better than Wetherspoons steak but nothing compared to a good steak restaurant.
It’s ok for an occasional visit if you have one of their many vouchers but full price I would say it’s not worth it.

I’ve had good and bad experiences here. Nice place as in the building is nice. We had a very nice waiter. One of us ordered off of the daytime saver menu... if you order ribs it’s not a big enough portion to be honest.. I understand that’s why it’s on the value menu, but maybe add a bigger portion of chips. Chips are still bottomless so we got by by ordering more. Food was really nice, not all of the restaurant floors were open and they did seem really busy and service did seem a bit rushed. We never booked a table so we were put in front of the bar, which wasn't ideal with 3 kids and the chairs were not comfy for sitting and eating for long periods. After a few minutes of pondering, I got my phone out and booked a table, then we were moved into the restaurant table area with suitable seating. Lol! Well it's exactly what you would expect from a Beefeater. The food is well cooked and presented. Portions are good and the service is quick and efficient. If it's busy it can get a little slower but nothing too noticeable. The staff are friendly and very accomodating.
If you want s quick meal with some slightly different twists from the norm then give it a whirl.
We come every time we're in Chessington and would have no qualms of coming again.

Staying nearby after a day at the amusement park and this place seemed like a good bet for dinner. It’s about 10-15 minutes’ walk from the Premier Inn (now sadly shorn of it’s Beefeater, once one of my favourites… now lost to time and memory) and it’s part of the Vintage Inn chain, so sort of like a Beefeater for the now, rather than the 1980s.
Anyhow, the pub itself is an older building, you enter the bar area and there is a more formal restaurant, with table service, over to the right. Pretty standard setup, approach the bar to ask for a table or get yourself a table and approach the bar to order a drink. The co-existence of both at one bar seemed most puzzling for some people, not sure why.
We opted for the bar as we didn’t fancy a full meal – the menu at these places is good though and, to be fair, you can order anything from the main menu at the bar anyway. A couple of beers to start, these were Peroni – you like to see it and there it was. Just shy of £7 a pint I think they were – modern prices.
The bar area is well laid out, with many areas broken up by bits of wall and fireplaces etc. Don’t feed the fire if it is on, they don’t like that.
Turned out you can order food to your table in the bar as well, using the QR code on the table – that was useful, as I am lazy and somewhat antisocial. Decided to go for a trio of small plates – Padron peppers, some shredded chicken, and a garlic cheese bread – these arrived promptly and were all very good. The bread was most fulsome and piping hot. Good hit of cheese on top. Nice. I also really rated the Padron peppers, although it is hard to get those wrong.
Sufficiently impressed with the food that I had a pudding. Rare. They had sticky toffee pud with a throaty jug of custard though, so how could I refuse. Good hit of date and good amount of custard. The pudding of my youth. Well done.
A few more pints of Peroni and we were away (you can tell I wasn’t respecting my liver this weekend) . Overall, a good pub, well run. Some odd customers, but that’s not their fault. I’d eat here again for certain.

Down to London/Chessington for business meetings and stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner before heading back home. Found it on google maps as it was close to our last meeting for the day, and tried it because we were intrigued by the name.
The food was utterly amazing, but getting to the order point was problematic. Ordering and paying is done online through a QR code on the table — and cel service wasn’t great. Signed in through the guest wifi, which was only shared with us after we asked if we could just order directly, and got it sorted, but it took longer than it should have for us to get service; after the first issues, we would have appreciated a little more attentiveness to simply getting an order in for a meal. Drinks were ordered directly at the bar and paid for there, so it doesn’t appear that the food ordering and paying would necessarily HAVE to be done through an app.
Portions were amazing, and delicious. The steak and ale pie could have fed a small family, and the salmon fish cakes were perfectly cooked. Drinks were beautifully done, and the IPA was great.
The young man behind the bar seemed to have a bit of attitude, but the other staff we interacted with were helpful, responsive, and friendly.
The atmosphere is hard to describe — plenty of space, and enough space between tables for privacy, without feeling like a diner. Decorated, it seems, with privacy in mind without losing the feeling of welcome and warmth.

Fabulous place. We were late due to issues on M25 but we're treated with kindness and compassion. We're prewarned they had limited staff but would be as quick as possible with the food. When it came it was served well, presentation was great and food tasted amazing. Wish we had eaten there every night of our stay and not onsite like we had previously. We had an unfortunate experience at this pub. Thought it would be a decent meal based on the reviews but was caught by surprise. Ordered the Ribeye steak and it’s the worst steak I had in a while. I did try my best but I could not finish it in the end and had to spit out most of the meat as it’s hard and chewy. It would have been a 1 star if not for a decent service and atmosphere. Everything from the staff, to the atmosphere and of course the food and drinks were exceptional! We were welcomed by Jake who helped guide us through the menu and drink choices, we got to choose our seating in a cozy booth/nook with drinks in hand, which really set the stage for a very charming experience for our family on our first day in the UK. I’d also like to note that if you are staying in the nearby Chessington safari hotel area, it’s only about a 15-20 minute walk to this amazing and welcoming pub and the food is much better and so much better value than the plonk they are serving at the tourist hotels. Also of note, easy options to bus, uber or taxi, as we ubered our way back around 10pm just 4 minutes back to hotel. We will definitely be marking this on our short list of favorite pubs.

Went with two friends and their dog for a late lunch today. Food (as always) was amazing. Good choice of dishes which are all great quality and very tasty. In particular, we recommend the incredible cheese soufflé.

We’ve just had the loveliest Sunday at The Cricketers in Downside, Cobham and I have to say — it was one of the best Sunday roasts we’ve ever had.
We went as a family and everything about the place just felt right: warm, joyful atmosphere, genuinely friendly staff who somehow manage to be both relaxed and incredibly efficient and the food was simply outstanding.
The roast was cooked to perfection, portions generous without being overwhelming, and every element — from the crispy potatoes to the rich gravy — hit the spot. It’s one of those meals where everyone at the table keeps saying “this is amazing” every few minutes (without mentioning the bottomless potatoes and Yorkshire pudding)

Simply brilliant. No idea curry this good was so local. Been in the area for 10 years and found this when spending the night with family at Chessington World of Adventures. Popped down for a quick curry with the family and it was amazing. Highly recommended.
For starters we had pops (so tasty) , onion bhaji (so fluffy), vegetable samosa (so crispy), and calamari (so tasty). We all had house special mains including boar vindaloo. All so so tasty. Service was amazing.
If I had any minor gripes it would be that the food portions are a little small (but we still left feeling stuffed and quality is amazing) and was also a little more pricey than any local curry (£14 for a main curry compared to £6-9 at all other locals). But these are minor, so much so, I'll be back every other week.

We start with the wonderful Nacito, TALK ABOUT EXCELLENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! with a lot of eating out under my belt, I can safely say that this was one of the greatest displays of both professionalism and acceptance in a restaurant I have ever received. Nacito made us feel as welcome as you are in the home of your parents. The food was served to an absolutely excellent standard; the starters where the perfect size, the Goan Prawn Ambotik was the best sauce with the poppadoms, and was even great with the tandoori broccoli which had an al dente bite, which was just how we like it! The mains of the Wild Boar Vindaloo and the Old Delhi Butter Chicken where sublime; so flavoursome and so so tasty! All polished off with the roti, coconut rice snd mushroom rice, we nearly didn't have room for dessert but we squeezed in a shared slice of the chocolate orange cake, which was also amazing !
Ladies and gentlemen, if you are in the area or just passing thought like us, please make sure you get down here for some of THE BEST hospitality and food I have ever experienced!

I’ve visited this pub quite a few times in recent months with a close friend and enjoyed it every time.
There’s a wide variety of drinks available and a food menu with options to accommodate most people. The food is nice, reasonably priced and the service is good.
There’s an abundance of seating both indoors and outside in the lovely beer garden, with some of the indoor seating worn and tattered. A parking lot is also available with disabled access into the pub.
I’ll definitely be visiting again in the near future and would recommend to everyone in the area.

Was shocked to open the containers to find such small portions against the price tag! The Tadka dal was less than half full on one of those small tin containers for £4.95! This is a disgrace and ripping people off. Should have known better and gone to the usual Rice & Spice in Chessington. It's a shame as we live close to this restaurant but the quality, portion and price tag is not fully thought out by management. Please take note management.

Chicken Tikka was lacking in taste and flavour (I don’t need the red colour, but I need some
flavour, and the usual addition of onions was missing)…. Just looked and tasted like a bit of boiled chicken.
Samosas were just a crumbly mess; with also a lack of flavour (tasted just like a bit of mince lamb).
Keema naan was lacking in general flavour; just a limp bit of bread with some tasteless meat..
The following were nothing to write home about but perfectly acceptable - saag paneer, poppadoms. It did arrive ahead of time.
Perhaps I have been spoilt, but if you enjoy a nice flavourful Indian takeaway; I would advise you find elsewhere.

My takeaway is alway delicious & arrives super hot. The best Indian meal in or out of a restaurant around here by far.

We had a small family and friends 18th birthday party in the restaurant part of the pub last night for my son. We hired the room and organised a buffet with the pub. WOW. The food was amazing, and so much of it. Everyone commented on it.
The staff and the owner were amazing. They checked in on us regularly and even asked what music we would like played.
We felt like part of the owners family and they couldn’t have made my son’s birthday more special. We decorated it ourselves but being respectful of the gorgeous new renovation. Really was ideal for us and we’ll definately be back x

It was refurbished recently and looks very nice. The service is slow as some people mention in their reviews but it’s still a really nice place to go, and my kids love it too.

We have literally walked through our front door after being at The William Bourne for lunch. We live right round the corner and have never been before. Our lunch did not disappoint. Staff were friendly. Service was good. We ordered the BBQ Mac burger, chicken gougon and cheese melt baguette, onion rings and cheesy garlic bread, with fries. So disappointing. Visited Monday 3 Feb. The restaurant was really cold. Most people kept their coats on. I had a cup of ginger and lemon tea that was not hot and a bitter flavour. The bowls for soup were v cold though a member of staff warmed the bowl on request. There were no cheese straws only white baguettes and the mushroom soup was flavourless grey porridge. We got the vegan menu which was lovely and for the price a steal! The food was flavoursome not too spicy but packed a punch. It was nice to try costal indian food which I have not eaten before.
The only downside the toilets there is a noticeable smell like moud but also the toilets needs a huge revamp.
And, I noticed some tables at the back where trying to get the attention of staff. The waiters were of their feet but some of the managers who were at the front reception should just do a walk around every 15 mins to check if anyone wanted anything because the waiters were extremely busy.
Apart from that I would definitely visit again and one of the staff recommended the weekend brunch.

A surprise birthday dinner for my wife, (special birthday) at the venue which is close to our hearts. 19 years earlier I had proposed at the Cinnamon Club.
A wonderful evening, great Indian food with a modern twist, my daughters and I opted for the scallop starter, it was incredible!!! Polite, and friendly service, just the right balance to ensure you’re enjoying the meal and if anything else was needed.
We had chef Vivek Singh come over to our table and chatted with the family, which made it extra special.

I had an absolutely wonderful birthday experience at The Cinnamon Club in what is an incredibly rare, yet wonderful, restaurant setting. I am not familiar with different Indian spices, but it was a truly adventurous and enjoyable experience throughout. Pigeon was my favourite from the tasting menu. The server told me that pigeon was on their menu for 25 years already; amazing! The tiger prawn dish went particularly well with naan bread, which was the best naan bread I had ever eaten. Having high expectations when having visited the restaurant, we chose to have a delivery from you as there was so much heavy rain yesterday evening. Over an hour the food arrived being told up to 45 mins which is standard. With that so looking forward to sit and ear the food I take one mouthfuls and my food was cold!!...so disheartened that yes I expect the food not to be piping hot but to some level of warmth to enjoy and not have the need to repeat in the microwave. Another thing that explains that the food arrived cold is that you delivered the food in boxes!! Not even a warm bag!!

So I called into the shop to place my order based on glowing reviews on Google.I live in Chesington and search for the best fish and chip shop in the area based on reviews this one came up top of the list. I do have some trepidation when the reviews are so glowing but decided to give it a try I was not disappointed a very warm welcome from served on time within a minute at a very busy time for them which is a great sign the fish with crispy and very grease free the chips were also crispy fluffy in the middle. We had such awful theme park food elsewhere in Chessington that we’d almost given up on having nice food, until we stepped into Tortilla. The food here was absolutely delicious, and the price was pretty reasonable too. The staff were so friendly and took such care of us, going out of their way to make sure our burritos and churros were fresh and warm. I could not recommend this place highly enough! Nicest staff we’ve come across in a theme park restaurant. Had a minor issue but Raf dealt with it superbly. Food was excellent and very good value considering it’s relatively healthy compared to other options at the parks.
We had burrito meals, kids meals and nachos which were all generous and fresh.
Since the Smokehouse BBQ has now changed to a buffet, we’ll be eating at Tortilla when we come to Chessington in future.

We have used this fish n chip shop for a very long time and in the past been very satisfied. I can’t upload a photo as there are access issues but the chips I got today are not fresh. They taste like they’ve been recooked from old chips nobody wanted. I used to live nearby and get chips from here all the time, which were nice when the previous owners ran it.
I’m getting fed up of paying out more money everywhere, for less value. They give you less food than you order on purpose. This has happened to us on too many occasions at Chessington North KFC for this not to be the case. Most recently I ordered 6 pieces of chicken and I specifically heard the lady serving instruct her colleague who was preparing the food to only give us 5 pieces, so it was no mistake. This confirms to me why when we've visited this store previously there's been occasions when we didn't receive the full order that we paid for. We're always polite to the staff and I don't understand why they feel the need to mistreat customers, unless purposely giving less food than ordered and paid for is a direct instruction from the management. Best to avoid Chessington North KFC in my opinion, but if you do use this store then always DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR ORDER before leaving the store to avoid being ripped off. *UPDATE 18/08/2025* It's very disappointing that the owner of KFC Chessington North has chosen to ignore this issue by not addressing this particular incident and has offered no explanation.
