The food was cooked to our requests. The taste and flavor of the food was wonderful and plate presentation was excellent. I ordered the chicken expecting a fine dining experience type meal ie small artful delicious food my chicken breast was massive the flavor was good but the size of the breast made the meat tough and dry even though it was brined and stuffed with goat cheese. Other than that the experience was good except my first drink ordered they didn't shake the cream and there were curds in my drink. My suggestion is to move to a smaller breast size like a 7oz and actually hammer the meat stuff it then roll it to a more pleasing appearance and fine dineable size. Otherwise a good night even though our anniversary was missed by the server. Next time will definitely go to Mark's Prime instead

Nestled in the heart of downtown Gainesville, this place has clearly earned its reputation among the competitive restaurant scene. We snagged seats at the bar, and even with the chaos of a busy music festival weekend the service was impressively fast and efficient. The staff never seemed flustered, and our orders came out quickly without sacrificing quality. The food itself exceeded all expectations. The sushi rolls were beautifully presented with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the gyoza were perfectly crispy with a flavorful filling. What really impressed us was that the kitchen maintained such excellent standards despite the restaurant being slammed. Too often, busy nights mean compromised quality, but Dragonfly proved they can handle the pressure. The decor of the restaurant is really nice and I like the open kitchen concept. It was cool to see the chefs working hard to make the food so delicious. As soon as I walked in I was seated at a nice two-top and soon after that was greeted by Sam who was as friendly as she could be and one of the best waitstaff I've had the pleasure of interacting with. She got my order quickly, I had the Bissell Breakfast, which I highly, highly recommend, and I had coffee before I knew it which never got less than half full before she was topping me off. It was beautiful, piping hot with sauce and gooey mozzarella cheese dripping off of it...except it was the super salty sauce. The waitress automatically took off my meal and offered a free dessert. I didn't come for free food lol. . Came to a fine dining restaraunt to treat my wife to a delicious meal. Her fettuccine waslike marshmallows with pepper over noodles lol. Very bland. We never got our free dessert. We were never served oil for our bread, no little plates for our silverware, and the candle on our table wasnt lit. Sadface. About 20 minutes or so after ordering them, they finally showed up... the waiter apologized for the wait and told is that they ran out of pineapple so he whipped us up a mixture of the festivals and he thinks it's going to be delicious!! I expected a freshly made, warm, doughy piece of dessert with ice cream on top of it... this is not what I got!! It was super hard and crunchy and not very edible. It was definitely deep fried for way too long. I tried to have a few bites without breaking my teeth and the waiter came back and asked us how we would rate it out of 10... The Omelet, although full of all the main ingredients of a Western Omelet, just had no flavor to it. Very bland. The home fries amount were minimal, see photo, were lukewarm, and consisted of several burnt pieces and what seemed to be left over remnants of whatever was left over back in the kitchen. The English Muffin looked like it had been toasted, but was basically raw, if you will. Sam promptly replaced that item and I'm sure would have replaced the home fries if I'd asked, but I figured I was pretty much done with my meal by then so why bother. Can't recommend Peach Valley Cafe for the food based on what I ordered, maybe they get some dishes right, but would definitely check out anywhere my waitress was working as long as it's not this restaurant.

I started with the buffalo cauliflower appetizer, and let me just say , wow. Easily one of the best I've had. Though I wish it was more crispy, it was just the right amount of heat, and super flavorful. That was definitely a highlight for me. For my main, I tried the steak special of the day, which came with a corn salad and pasta salad. My friend had a salmon dish with risotto and (I think) green beans. We both agreed that while the quality of everything was solid, some of the side pairings felt a bit mismatched. Maybe it's just my palate, but I wouldn't typically think to put those particular items together. It didn't quite flow the way you'd expect from a well-composed plate. The food, in general, could've used a little more seasoning, not bad, just lacking that final punch of flavor that really elevates a dish. That said, everything was cooked well and beautifully presented. My steak was a perfect medium, and honestly, that and the cauliflower were my favorite parts of the meal. I do wish I had gone for one of the burgers or fish tacos, they looked and sounded amazing. I was left wanting just a bit more overall, but the quality is there, and I'd love to come back and explore more of the menu, especially the appetizers. Let me explain that statement. Food was incredible, potatoes were so crispy and tender at the same time. Cinnamon roll was actually nicely frosted and sugar started caramelizing on the bottom which was great! When it somes to service and general feeling of the place is where “afternoon” falls behind. We were waiting to be seated/talked to for a while in the small entrance while people were trying to come in and out, our waitress was okay but she definitely entered our personal spaces every time she was there. Place is pricey, my husband’s late was $7.50, which is very steep for caramel, shot of espresso, and cup of milk. They also have a big fly problem, inside and outside which i thought was because of the nearby farms, however when i looked at the map, that was not the case. Bathrooms were decently clean. To sum it up food- delicious and fantastic, service, ambiance and vibe can use some work. P.S My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. We visited Afternoon on a game day so we knew it would be busy and we were able to get right in. The staff were all so friendly. The atmosphere was perfect and the food and coffee was amazing. I got the Americano with vanilla, they make their own coffee. For food my husband got the turkey club which you could taste each ingredient in it. All the flavors pair so well together. The best club we’ve ever had. And I got the breakfast burger. Absolutely amazing, we loved the jam on the burger made the perfect sweetness. I've gotten a different dish every time I've come and never really like it much. The options always sound really good. I love the food that's being served but I don't like the way it's prepared. I ordered toast today and when I order toast I expect it to be toasted (same with the Toaster strudel) but instead I just got a thick cold piece of bread with cold salmon on it. I feel like every time I get food here it comes to me cold even when it's a hot dish. The matcha lemonade was too sweet as well. The server was really nice and took my food off the check when she saw I didn't like it and was eating the rest of my friend's food. It's a cute place and I've tried it again so many times because it's always busy, so people seem to like it. I just have never really had the best experience here and it may just be my personal tastes.
