Premier sea view rooms are more like ancient or vintage style. Cane chairs, bathroom door with wooden hinges which makes a lot of noise, overall not so comfortable, however it depends on person to person. Basically nothing premier about the premier rooms. They are in old building. Royal club rooms are way more comfortable, with a near view of the sea. Go for royal club rooms if available. Staff are kind and food is good with too many options. The time of arrival and check in was at 2 pm, we informed them at 1.45pm that we shall arrive in 15 minutes yet the suite was delayed by 2hours, meanwhile we were given another room for freshening up and to spend time till evening snacks at the cafe which is appreciated. Evening snacks was average, the suite room was checked in at around 4.45pm and it was really good. The view was amazing and the room well maintained, clean and cozy. The dinner was delicious, we kept it light, the restraunt staff was cordial and pleasant.The cultural programme scheduled was cancelled at the last moment, there was no other entertainment provided in place of the same. Spa experience was good. The palace tour provided by the Butler was good and his service was commendable.The tennis court and behaviour of the designated so called coach was a disappointment. We expect a little more professionalism and service when it comes to spending more than half a lakh for a day at this prestigious property. Hope this comes in good sense.

We recently stayed at Taj Green Cove Resort & Spa, expecting a true 5-star experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in many areas. The first experience when we stepped inside was as usual royal Taj experience, Lobby environment was really nice and we were welcomed nicely and entertained properly by the staff. However since we came early then the check-in time, so it took little longer to get the room. We were excited to see our room where we were going to spend the 4 nights, but as soon as we entered in to the room, no where it was looking like a Taj room. The room was quite small and old. Bed was not comfortable and with very old style mattress. All things in the rooms like curtain, side tables, bed, even bathroom was looking quite old. Overall no premium feeling. Somehow we spend the night and next day went for breakfast and that was the place where I met Mr. Harish Rawat (chef) and other staff members, they have changed my experience of room with delicious food and the hospitality. Not just providing a variety of food but its all with aunthetic taste. It made our stay special and special, everytime we had breakfast and dinner in their restaurant. Mr. Rejil (sales manager) had also tried it best to overcome the issues and provide a better solution to make our stay happier. The room was big and comfortable, cleaned and maintained every day. We had a double bed room with good view of the city. The staff were absolutely brilliant. They catered to our every needs. The room service was excellent. Their breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing. They always had a huge spread of high quality, flavourful, exquisite multicusine dishes in a beautiful display. I would personally like to thank Chef Vishnu Mohanan, who we had the pleasure of meeting, for not only providing us with incredibly tasty dishes every day but also for going out of your way to check on every single customer and making sure they were taken care of very well. I would also like to thank the restaurant manager Jay Kshatriya, he was an absolute delight. He always made it a point to welcome every guest with a big smile and spend few minutes chatting with every guest making sure the stay was comfortable and they had everything they needed. He also checked in with us when we missed a breakfast. There are so many other staff that I would like to mention for making our stay absolutely amazing, especially the staff at front desk, staff at V Bar, house keeping team, room service as well as the gym and pool team. I had availed their service many times for my parents on their TVM visits. The apartments are spacious, neatly maintained and NO bugs or insects. Television, wifi, Aircondition(A/C) available. Beds and pillows are comfortable to sleep. Bedspreads and towels are clean. Bathrooms are neat and tidy. Toiletries available. Hot water available in bathroom. Modular kitchen has necessary utensils, microwave, gas stove, fridge and waterfilter are all in good condition. Tea/Coffee powder, sugar&salt are available in the kitchen cupbord. Dishwash liquid and scrub, wastebins are also provided. We can cook and clean the utensils. They have different types of apartments like, studio aptmnt, 2bedroom, and 3 bedroom apartments. The place is so quiet and calm. Even elderly people can relax at these apartments. As there are enough lifts, it wont be difficult for elders to reach the higher floors of apartments. The security guards are not rude. They are well mannered. If we find any difficulty during stay and we inform the owner, they will try to resolve that problem as early as possible, without making any trouble to us. I would recommend Best Serviced apartments for single ladies, elderly ones or any good hearted ones for a peaceful and safe stay.

Near enough to the busier Kovalam but far enough away to feel that I was staying 'off the beaten track'. A pleasant walk through the local and very friendly village along the shore footpath took about an hour. Raji created the most beautiful, delicious, freshly cooked, authentic Keralan breakfasts every morning which I enjoyed in the lovely outdoor eating area while looking out to sea and watching local life. They were quite simply the best breakfasts I have ever had in India! The room was spotless and cleaned throughout my stay. The most comfortable bed I have slept in, in India for sure. Choice of aircon or ceiling fans really helped when it became too hot. The area was quiet and in the heart of a local fishing village. It was lovely to hear the crashing waves at night or from the hammock right outside my room in the shade of the coconut trees. There was a local temple festival happening during my stay and I enjoyed hearing the morning chanting as well as the huge procession on the final night - elephants and all! Binod was really helpful with local information, arranged my pick up and drop off at the airport as well as rickshaw hire at other times for an incredibly reasonable price (local's price). The airport was close enough to be in bed within 90 minutes of landing from my night flight but not noisy or disturbed by flights etc at other times. A wonderful find and I would definitely stay again without hesitation.
