The most easy ones are less than half a mile and are ok for children to walk and also check out the garden area and butterflies! If I’m not mistaken the most difficult one is the Cedar Brake Trail which is 1.9 miles and goes up and downhill! I recommend walking that one for beginners! The views are amazing and you can actually see Beltline Rd. and some of Grand Prairie! The Pond is nice and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the view! If you plan to explore and walk every trail , take plenty of water to drink and snacks!

Alot of decent inclines and declines but overall a good leisure hike. I definitely feel bikers would enjoy it alot. I wish people would stop throwing trash in or around hiking trails. I started with the light colored trails first, Next time I will start with the dark colored trails. There are colored marks and signs,but you really have to pay attention to them or will travel the same trail twice I love the hills and rock stairs, it gives it that intensity! I finished the trails in a little over 2 hours. There are separate trails for bikes, but not all bikers use them, so be mindful of that. The trails have bike ramps and quit a few bridges you have to cross. A lot of trees along the trails are color code to pair with the trail you are on and there are QR trail codes you can scan There is what appears to be a homeless encampment somewhere by the trail, but I didn't see any homeless people. It's a hidden gem here in Pleasant Grove. Otherwise, I love the change in minor elevation/hills that helps you feel like your at Cedar Ridge Preserve. We got to ride our bikes and that was so nice during the week not as many visitors or campers The sun sets were beautiful to go and watch. ( we went to watch the sunset and a truck was literally coming sideways towards us! So please get the rangers out there to enforce the speed limits!! Lots of littering and not enough trash cans. I have been to several state parks within a 3 hour radius of Dallas. Unfortunately, this one has been the least maintained. For stargazers specifically- I do not recommend it due to the proximity to the city.

The South side is a bit longer of a trail. Trail is slightly overgrown in some spots, and there are felled trees in many places throughout. If I were to compare it to, say, Barton Creek in Austin near Twin Falls or near the municipal pool, I would say this area doesn't hold a candle.
