My parents and I went with my 11 month old twins for the basic tour. It was $18 a person. There were several other people there and I had to carry the babies because no strollers or anything are allowed in the house due to all the antique furniture and stuff in there. I only got to see two rooms before I had to leave and give the babies a snack. The rooms were beautiful and all period correct with actual belongings from the house loaned by family members. The tour guide was very informative, my parents said upstairs and downstairs was really neat. I missed most of the tour but one of the employees was really sweet and gave me a little booklet thing so I could read and look at pictures of what I missed. If you pay for the basic tour you can still walk the grounds to see the garden, slave house, smoke house, spring house etc by yourself. The ground was hilly and bumpy so I wouldn't recommend pushing a stroller on it. Everything is maintained well and there are several signs explaining what things are. Right next door is the Confederate and McGavock family cemetery (including some of the slaves). The cemetery has several signs with information about it. Pretty sad past but very interesting. There's also a gift shop there where you buy your tour ticket. I wouldn't suggest bringing any small children here because they will be bored and it will be a struggle keeping them from touching things. Anyone handicapped would have a hard time you with all the standing and steep stairs to go upstairs plus all the walking outside. They have bathrooms right by the gift shop that were mostly clean.

Biggest hurdle? Accessibility. The festival overall had a GREAT lineup. The vendors and food options were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the artists. If I were fully able bodied I'd easily have no problem giving the festival five stars. But I'm not. And that's not to say that they didn't make any effort at all. There were some things put into place that were great. The accessible seating/viewing platforms were fantastic and whoever came up with that idea deserves a promotion. The plywood put down over the worst of the mud at field entrances was also helpful. But it's really difficult to get around the fact that the festival itself is spread out over multiple grassy (and inherently bumpy) fields, with few to no actual trails, and the "roads" are either gravel or were once paved and have now deteriorated. Those roads are great to walk on, but I'd challenge anyone on the Pilgrimage administration team to experience them in a wheelchair or on a knee scooter. The setup may seem obvious to anyone who's attended, but for a first timer, it's not at all clear that if you use a wheeled mobility device, you'll be in for a weekend of painful, exhausting, bone-jarring, teeth rattling rides around the venue. Additionally, when I contacted the ADA email the week before the festival, in the response there was NO mention made of the fact that the lot for which I'd purchased a parking pass was over a mile away from the venue and the festival doesn't provide a shuttle. Just a quick "You won't even need a handicapped parking placard for that lot! Just come find us once you're on site." I found out after I got there that the city provides a shuttle, but drop-off was 2+ blocks from the festival entrance and the pickup spot was a block further away from that. Plus it wasn't free, cash only, exact change. I don't know if we'll attend again. The rest of my family had a great time, other than knowing it was really difficult for me and having to spend extra time helping me (bringing me food so I didn't have to leave the seating platform again, for example). But to call the festival accessible is really misleading. People who have never been incapacitated as an adult, who've never had to use a wheelchair or a scooter, literally have zero idea. All references are Aspen Grove Drive and Seaboard Lane. It is also off Cool Springs Boulevard with parking and access between P.F. Chang's and Core Life Eatery. It consists of a delightful .8 mile pave walking path with three bridges crossing Spencer Creek. Thanks to the warm winter we saw daffodils leaves which will make a lovely walk in a couple of weeks. We also saw two deer coming up from the creek and blending into the wooded area. It's a short enough trail if you don't have time and pretty enough to want to do the loop more than once for a longer walk. There's also a nice playground, clean restrooms and a nice pavilion. You can access this park from Cool Springs Boulevard, the main entrance from Aspen Grove or the next door office park. It's ideal for workers who need to get out of the office but don't have a lot of time.

But this was probably one of the worst places I have eaten in Franklin or the Nashville area! Amend the GPS so it takes visitors fo the park entrance rather than the historical main gate. Excellent site though. I highly recomend it!

My party and I had an awesome time, and the designs are not difficult to complete. No painting experience is required, which is great! I love how many selections they have to paint from. I attended one class and was so impressed that I booked a class for my daughter to celebrate her birthday. I recently had a party for my 11 Year old 3/17/2018 it was absolutely horrible. Her and the kids was bored out they mind. This place is suitable for little kids don't waste your money. The bowling alley has two small lanes with small balls that weigh no more two pound. They say they have laser tag but it's just laser bouncing off the walls it's not the kind when you wear vest and shoot each other. The bumper cars area is so small and you literally can't do nothing but spin in a circle. The arcade games are so boring and I payed for kids to have unlimited access to everything and they put a limit to how long you can stay on one game. Now the employees are so unprofessional and they seem like they want to be there. They are not friendly with kids and seem to have attitudes. My party host was horrible and so rude she literally told us her name and didn't say nothing else to us the whole time we was there. We had to do everything ourselves as far as servings the kids, but wait that's not it we was out the room playing games and came I came back and caught a random employee in my party room taking pieces of my cake for him and his co workers without my permission. I'm warning y'all don't waste your money here if you want a real fun center that don't have unprofessional employees and really have games stick to the one in Hendersonville
