The slightly sweet, slightly spicy french fries were a surprise. I love my veggies so I ordered a green salad as well as their brussel sprouts which came tempura style. Please note their posted hours of service on both their door to the restaurant and on google are that they close at 9:30. Yes, totally understand I should have arrived sooner but I would ask that if you are not going to provide service during your posted hours of operation, please change them to either 9:00 or 9:15 when you actually stop serving. The Great Volcano Roll is always a standout for me–and hands-down best version of this roll in the area-the generous portions of shrimp, scallop, and crab accompanied by delicious sauces was my favorite this evening. Thanks to Yelp. We had a craving for sushi and decided to give it a shot. This is really a hidden gem that will become one of our favorites. It's just an older area and this place was a pleasant surprise. The interior was cozy, low-lighting. It's not the best but it's nice for a date, casual or family dining. Saw all types of people. Really caters to the sushi lover with a extensive sushi menu. Also serves a variety of normal Japanese dishes. The staff is friendly and almost too attentive but it's sweet. We had two different pot stickers and they were equally delicious. We love Sapporo beer after our time living in Japan. They serve this as well as some nice wines. We decided on a Pinot Noir which was yummy and was very reasonable. It was a great accompaniment for the sushi rolls we ordered. Did I mention, I think we ordered 10! We were so excited after the appetizers and the initial order that we decided to order a few more. You must give this new restaurant a try.
