There was some sort of ginger sauce all over the sushi that wasn’t advertised, and I mean ALL OVER IT. The entire sushi plate was covered in this super strong, ultra potent ginger sauce that just absolutely drowned out the sushi. Ginger is supposed to be a palate cleanser, not a gigantic sauce topping. They put the sauce all across the bottom of the sushi, so there was no escaping it. The fried roll was super fried and had a super burnt taste to it. Even the pot stickers were flooded with a ton of ginger. What is this chef’s obsession with ginger? The stuffed, fried jalapeños were completely raw. When I say raw, I mean they were barely fried for a minute and then dumped into the container in a hurry. The wine/drink menu at the tables were unbelievably sticky and the whole restaurant just had a whole sticky feel. My wife who usually went to old Suzushii in '17 said that the quality had declined over the past few years. The service was kind and attentive, however, when we were sat at the table we were left with a ordering menu from a previous guest that was marked with their orders. Overall a mediocre experience, however the one thing that will always bring me back is that baked salmon roll.

The order said it would take 40 minutes which I was fine with. 7:30 comes around and I receive a email saying its on the way. That is alright I think to myself they're probably busy. When 8:00 comes around and still no food, I call the restaurant. A lady answers and tells me it should be on the way and it wont be cold. I say okay thank you. At 8:10 I receive my food and it is about what you would expect from food that has been sitting out for 40 minutes after its been cooked. Barely holding onto any heat that it might actually have left in the paper bags they use to hold the food. I call to get the issue resolved but this time no answer, it rings for about two minutes and then suddenly the call drops. I call back, all of a sudden, my calls will not go through not even a ring. I call multiple times, same result. I even called other people to see if it was my phone service that was down, it wasn't. SO after paying for the "service and delivery fee" for the convenience of having it delivered and saying something about it. Ive ordered here many times food is great when its fresh. This is the only issue I have personally ever had with them. But after this I will not be ordering again
