The oysters came with little forks, a small dish of horseradish, as well as cocktail sauce & hot sauce to spice up the oysters. The fried calamari wasn’t greasy and was just the right amount portion wise for the two of us. Our appetizers were both delicious! We also ordered the two chefs recommended citrus salmon & blackened swordfish. Both were great & they were plated beautifully. Toasted but not over done and the flavor of the marinara sauce . Delectable. And I don’t like marinara. We ordered a medium Mr Gilbertis . I tell ya . It’s loaded with toppings and cheese . The cheese pull is excellent. 2 slices done is in . And we had lots to take home . The only negative, is this place is not cheap But I can tell ya , it is well worth the price . Last year we struggled to find good food for some reason but this year was different, we had great breakfasts and dinners all week. We ventured out to Holister for this stop and found a little slice of Chicago and Chicago style pizza. Had to wait on the pie as to be expected and it was worth it and the crab bites were a great starter. They really sold the homeade pumpkin cream cake at the end, we bit on that to go. Didn't realize they are 16.95 a slice. I'd almost say its worth it, but not quite. Thats allot for any dessert, most I've paid ever... Great little place I highly recommend.

What struck me the first time was in the description of the restaurant, they noted that they had actually sent family members to Naples to learn how to really do a proper marinara. I noted in the reviews, the only complaints I've seen is that it's not Chicago Pizza. and there's cheese. No, this is definitely not Chicago pizza, and I see things on the menu that do not include cheese. The food here is superb and Sam is the best waitress/manager that you will ever find anywhere. Cannot recommend this place too highly and yes, maybe on occasion, there may be a way to be served, but it's worth it.
