She refused and subsequently the woman kicked her out I tried to speak to other members of staff about what happened but they were all very hostile and said that she should’ve said she was diabetic before ordering but if she’s ordering a diet drink she shouldn’t have to announce she’s diabetic. This woman came out after we had left and called me and my sisters miss piggy miss piggy and miss piggy. Never in my life have I seen so much disrespect in the hospitality environment. As a hospitality worker myself I would’ve just made the drink again regardless of whether I had thought she said coke or diet. I am so disappointed and after we spent so much in the establishment to leave like that was honestly outrageous I’ve never seen such ableist abuse in the flesh like that in my life that woman deserves to be sacked on the spot .

Strangely, there are none of these devices. What I found was a deserted little railway station which looked brand new, almost immaculate; great for photos. Its unmanned and has no barrier between the carpark and the platform. Since the demise of London Midland Trains, it's obviously been very well revamped by the new incumbent London Northwestern Railway. They may have read some of the moans in the reviews below as the disabled access has been rectified with a large raised pad area to aid boarding the carriage. However, its only on the LH end of the platform, so only suitable for one particular carriage. Not having seen a train, I can't comment on the reasoning behind this. Since the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the length of the platform has now been painted with white paired footprint symbols, at 2m social distancing intervals (see my photos).
