Quite a Nice golfcourse, we made a good score, which means not a too difficult course. It was our first time and there are some tricky things, like the drive om the 18th, it should be rather short, so your second shot is easier.

Maison de la Tête de Moine

Museum
Cafe
Maison de la Tête de Moine is a must-visit for cheese enthusiasts and history buffs alike. This intriguing spot offers a warm welcome, good advice, and excellent Gin Fondue. The delicious Monks Heads are a highlight, and the recommended device with a brilliant lifetime guarantee is perfect for taking home in a small backpack. The building itself is an interesting example of local historical architecture, making it worth the visit for its cultural significance as well.
Went on a Sunday morning and it was not too crowded despite the bad weather. The museum is small but if you do it properly with the provided tablet, it’ll an hour with a 3 year old kid. Learned few things myself so it was quite interesting. You can taste and obviously purchase cheese and accessories, which we did!
Alexandre R — Google review
A must visit authentic cheese museum! Try the cheese plater at the restaurant downstairs! They also have cute souvenirs with reasonable prices.
Dina H — Google review
CHF 6.- entry fee. Small museum, no live demo how to make cheese. A free tasting of cheese included of their much talked about cheese flower would have made a big difference as talking about food is like talking about music. It overall was a bit disappointing.
Stephan B — Google review
This is the place where the original cheese Tête de Moine is produced. There is a rich choice of this and other cheeses in their shop selling an excellent assortment of regional products and where you can sip a glass or have a small bite in- or outside. Just nearby there is the possibility to educate yourself and your children in the life of dragonflies along an organized path. If you don't have the courage to look for these insects you can admire the giant hay statues set up each year in front of the main building.
Sebastian R — Google review
Great little museum upstairs with a lovely cafe for aperitifs downstairs. Tête de Moin is my favorite cheese, hands down!
Nicole F — Google review
Friendly staff, most welcoming. Local products, best quality. Amazing sculptures outside, made from straw. Creativity at its best!!
Thomas E — Google review
Not as interesting as some others like Appenzell or Gruyere. Pity. Recommended the smoked dried pork sausages. Well worth the reasonable price which is surprising.
Marcellus L — Google review
We visited the museum and bought some cheese.. the lady at the shop was extremely rude and unfriendly, didnt care that we had a small child, ignored us on the line and also made rude comments for no good reason before museum entrance which made us uncomfortable.. unfortunately ruined the whole experience.. never again!

Nicest "swiss" golf course (after Crans-Montana maybe..;-). Very calm as there are no streets nearby. From the back holes you can see the Alps. 40min drive through the nice Sundgau landscape from Basel/German frontier. There is also a 9-hole practice course that does not need reservations. Good restaurant with reasonable prices and nice terrace (afternoon/evening sun).

I do not play golf so I cannot say anything about that but the surrounding area is beautiful. However, looking at their website I was disappointed that this was only in French. What is missing is German and English.

Au Dolder - Restaurant Riquewihr Colmar

$$$$affordable
Alsace restaurant
Au Dolder - Restaurant Riquewihr Colmar is a charmingly decorated restaurant with suspended casks from the ceiling, dark red walls, and wood paneling. The menu features hearty Alsatian dishes like chicken in Riesling sauce with spatzle and choucroute. The restaurant also offers an excellent wine selection, particularly notable for its Riesling and Pinot Gris.
Very lively place with homey atmosphere. Only a few vegetarian options but the staff were willing to adjust the order. We had a steak and a salad with a few beers and it was exactly what was needed!
Inessa L — Google review
Very informal and nice dinner. We stopped by last night, I booked a table the same day (just few hrs before) also asking if they had some vegetarian options as on the menu there were only 2 and with my big surprise all the waiters and staff were very friendly and open to find other solutions for us. Eventually we managed to eat various different dishes. We had the onion soup, onion Tarte and then they proposed to us a terrine vegetarian. Thank you so much!
Francesca Z — Google review
Au Dolder offers a lovely dining experience with fresh ingredients and truly tasty French dishes. The flavors felt authentic and well-prepared, making each plate a pleasure. Service from the young lady with dark hair who attended our table was impeccable—warm, attentive, and professional. A great spot for a satisfying French meal. We did't stay at the hotel so I can't judge that. Nevertheles the location and interiors are beautiful.
Luca P — Google review
The atmosphere, the service was good. We had big portions, liked the menu and the tastes in general. Wine selection and the menu is ok too. We could find a table for 13 around lunchtime, so were lucky, but the place can get crowded as it's right in the centre of Riquewihr. The toilet is awful though, that surely needs improvement.
Attila F — Google review
Our family have a great meal in this restaurant. They can’t speak or fully understand English and their menu mostly also not in English. We order by just guess the words that similar to English and surprise, their food is superb. We also tried Pinot Gris which recommended by tour guide. It was perfect. May be less tourist here, I guess. The phone line inside is weak and wifi is not available too.
Yvonne T — Google review
Great starter of the day - white asparagus. Onion soup was ok. Cheese was on side instead of grilled, low amount of onions. Bread very stale. Two of us had the coq au vin Riesling, which was great! Beouf dishes were solid. Nice and good service.
Jonas — Google review
We had lunch here july 21st. We arrived at 13:45, just in time to order food because the kitchen closes at 14:00. The waitress was very, very kind and helpfull with the English she knows, we didn't understand everything on the menu. I had the cheeseplatter, 5 tasty and different cheeses. My partner had the onion pie , which tasted also very good.
Marco B — Google review
The place has the worst waiter ever, she wasn't interested in trying to talk to me, she was super angry and almost threw the plate on the table, avoid eating there

Écomusée d'Alsace

Open air museum
Museums
The Écomusée d'Alsace, located near Mulhouse in Alsace, is a museum village featuring reconstructed traditional Alsatian buildings from the period of 1850-1950. This open-air conservation museum showcases a variety of historical structures such as school houses, taverns, farmhouses, and more. Visitors can immerse themselves in the natural and green setting of an Alsatian village from the early 20th century.
Wonderful village! We liked it. We were lucky because the museum wasn’t busy and we had sunny day. There is a little patisserie, we ate something, it was delicious. They have done really good things in this village. We bought tickets from the desk, no queue. I liked this museum more than christmas markt.
Kardelen T — Google review
Great museum. Arrive promptly at opening as it requires a full day to see everything on offer. A few exhibits could use better lighting. Staff very helpful. Not only ordered a taxi but came out with me to make sure I got it. A designated taxi pickup area would be helpful. Lunch at the hotel restaurant very good with friendly staff. White storks everywhere!
S. K — Google review
Great museum to travel back in time and learn a lot of things. There is a small town of houses, stables, towers, shops, bridges, gates, etc, that are open and nicely enriched with multiple related items, each presenting different but interesting info from an era long gone. There are multiple activities to follow like domestic animals feeding, grape juice production and tasting, stable visit, wine tasting, hand crafts etc. There are restaurants and hotel options as well inside this old town. The parking just outside is free of charge, abundant and shaded. You need to visit the earliest possible because the place is quite big to explore and includes a lot of activities to follow and it is very interesting place for both kids and adults. So, you need plenty of time to see even half of what is offered within one day unless you start very early.
Petros P — Google review
Very nice experience within the museum. It was Walpurgia's Day and were different interesting events there. And also..inside the museum you can learn how to make the alsacian bow that women used to wear in the ~1900
Florina P — Google review
This is a great place to visit if you find yourself in the area. Not expensive and you can walk around at your own pace to see how they used to live in simpler times. It's a 'living museum' so there are people dressed in appropriate costume going about their trades. You can see a working forge, carpenters, and old school with teachers etc. The buildings ar from different time periods and have been dismantled and painstakingly reassembled on site. Really authentic and fascinating to see how housing progressed. I would highly recommend a visit. All outdoors so take a coat!
Andy S — Google review
A wonderful place to visit. I would go off season as this is not a place you want to visit with crowds of people. The houses are small and do not accommodate many people at a time. We spent about 2.5 hours on our visit. Free parking. Lots of walking. Note, we visited in October and the restaurants were closed.
Les R — Google review
Interesting place to visit seeing old buildings of the area. My ancestry on my Dad's side is from Alsace so I had to see this musee, glad I stopped. Don't miss going to the Tavern on site. Good food and good service!
Mark D — Google review
Súper cute place with animals and a vegetable garden! It’s a great place to go with children, and you can bring your dog too! Everyone working there was really nice, the place is very clean and very well taken care of, parking is no problem and you have a picnic area to have your lunch in nature. Highly recommend it!

Le Parc du Petit Prince

Mentioned on
3 lists
Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Le Parc du Petit Prince is a family-friendly amusement park in Alsace, offering a variety of rides and attractions suitable for kids, including trampolines, a maze, and a tethered hot air balloon. While it may not offer the same level of thrills as some larger parks, it provides an ideal introduction to roller coasters for young visitors.
A nice amusement park especially for toddlers and younger elementary-school kids. We visited on a rainy day, the rides were easy to take on without waits. Staff were generally friendly, and there are not only rides but also small zoo, and trampoline ground in this park. However, older elementary kids might find it a bit boring and it could use more Petit Prince–themed characters and decorations to their theme, I think. But I can definitely say that my family really enjoyed this lovely 'Le Parc du Petit Prince'
KH B — Google review
It’s a nice little park, suitable for smaller kids. Half of the attractions though are open only at certain time of the day which happens to be the same for all (13:00 or 14:00h) and even if you’re there on time you still may not get a spot. I’d also advise you to bring your own food and water as the service in the restaurants is dreadfully slow. I’ve never seen angry like this in my life and I’ve visited a lot of theme parks. Also- the coffee is really bad.
Elica K — Google review
Absolutely brilliant for smaller kids 18-6/7. My 2.5 year old (96 cm talk) lived it. Usually the offer is for older kids but here we can really enjoy with smaller kids too. Well regulated and controlled for the size and security for kids overall. Walkable and oversee able. Also great that they allow to bring in your own water and snacks for the kid, as usually the snacks for kids at parks are terrible ( pint for improvement … how about a healthy bar for kids). The only thing I would wish for is for more supervision at the jumping castle for the ‘small ones’. That was quite the trauma experience for my daughter. You should have supervision HERE as you have in other spaces. Bigger kids entered, too many kids at ones…. If you fix that I would give you many more stars.
Nicola G — Google review
Great amusement park for kids under 10! It's big enough to keep them entertained for a day, small enough not to overwhelm them either. I'd say the same for the attractions. My kids are 4 and 6, and they got to do all the attractions (and adult has to sit by each children under 130cm) without being scared! The only downside is the food.. expensive for the quantity and quality (pack your own!)
Marjorie Z — Google review
An amazing parc for families. Everything was excellent; attractions, food, safety and organisation.
Salah H — Google review
We really like this park. I was made to children, but we still like it.
Sanna — Google review
Visited this nice and small but amazing park just a few days ago on 24th July 2024. Really liked ALL the rides that were there, and even the old plane (which was an Antonov 2 from Russia I believe) that was on display next to the log water ride. The park was a little bit busy and cleaniness was a little lacking. You know what, I may come back here one day! 5/5 rating.

Butterfly Gardens, also known as the Exotic Butterfly Gardens of Hunawihr, is a delightful conservatory filled with various plants, flowers, and animals. The main attraction is the greenhouse where colorful butterflies fly freely amidst beautiful orchids and terrariums. Visitors can also explore exceptional botanical gardens housing over a hundred exotic butterflies from different continents along with diverse flora, bees, and ants.
This is a surprising and beautiful experience! We were on the Kutzig White Wine Route Bus and this was our first stop. We arrived early, so there were no wine tastings to be had! Gorgeous tropical plants and butterflies flitting all around. It was magical.
Izzie B — Google review
It is small, very small place. If you are not stuck there to photo every butterfly, the visit will take 10-15 min max. We went through in 30 min, with kids and making photo of almost every butterfly. It is a nice place, for sure, with a collection of orchids and some tropical plants. It is very, very warm inside. Be ready to strip down to a t-shirt. It is no barrier area, you can go in with stroller. The negative thing: it was VERY dirty on the parking and on the road to the garden. Yes, it was a rainy day, but parking place is the worst I ever saw in Alsace. Naked earth with puddles, so at the end everything in your car will be dirty. Considering the entrance fee, I would expect better maintenance of the place.
Tatiana E — Google review
I absolutely love the place and visit whenever I am in the area. It's not a huge place, but you can definitely spend some time admiring the butterflies, or just sit for a while and watch them fluttering around you, or sitting down on you! The plants are lovely, too, and I find it very relaxing being there. The information provided is useful, and when it is not a cloudy October day, the outside area is very nice as well.
MystOfOblivion — Google review
Small butterfly garden. Lovely collection of species. Easely accessible with prams/wheelchairs. Just be careful not to flatten the butterflies on the ground. You can go round a couple times as well. You can easely park if you go early.
David B — Google review
Beautiful butterfly garden! Well kept and stocked. Actual butterflies to see depend on time of visit of course. But they were abundant when we were end of July. Entrance fee is reasonable to cheap but don't expect to spend more than am hour here. It is very warm inside the greenhouse so perhaps save this for a rainy or cloudy day. Great to take children here as the animals are largely fearless and fly all around you or sit on perches with some sugar or honey.
Christian P — Google review
Its a wonderful place. So many beautiful butterflies 🦋♥️👌

Specialty Museums
Cité du Train is a modern museum dedicated to the history of trains and railways, featuring an extensive collection of rolling stock and audiovisual exhibitions. It is renowned as the largest railway museum globally, with three main exhibits showcasing the evolution of rail travel through different eras. The museum's comprehensive scope has expanded over the years, including notable additions such as the famous TGV-Atlantique #325, which set a speed record in the early 1990s.
Definitely one of the great Train Museums of the World. Apart from the normal for Europe rolling stock, they even have three American made Locomotives. A MUST see if you're interested in History and Technology. Kid friendly, they have two kid rides.

If you are a train fan, reserve 3-4 hours of your time to see everything. For everyone else: at least 2 hours to just walk the whole thing. Fantastic collection, large and diverse. Great for all ages; there are educational sections, too, to learn how trains work. Entrance was 16 EUR, which, in my opinion, is absolutely reasonable for the content you are getting. There is a local restaurant on site where you can eat for 15-20 EUR per adult, drinks included. Very easy access by public transport: 20-minute tram ride + 450-meter walk.

One of the most amazing museums I’ve ever visited! 3 hours went by without noticing and both us parents as well as our 5 year old kid had loads of fun! Totally recommend this place!

Great train museum showcasing the history of trains and French public transport. The collection is huge and very well maintained.

If you like trains and history it's really worth it. I think you can spend 2.5-3 hrs easily with a normal speed of going around and see everything.
Zsolt J — Google review
Nice railway museum with lots of examples of former trains (including various record-breaking locomotives and TGV trains!). There’s a gift shop and restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Rob ( — Google review
Visiting this museum truly felt like an authentic journey back in time. The sheer variety of the trains on display was incredibly impressive; I honestly never imagined that locomotives and passenger cars could be so stunningly beautiful. I was especially fascinated to learn about the most luxurious 'apartment trains,' which were essentially rolling homes complete with sleeping rooms, dining cars, showers, and even private cabinets. It was a genuine surprise to see how many domestic comforts were available on the rails, historically and perhaps even today. What truly sets this museum apart is its immersive organization. It’s not just a static collection of old trains, but a thoughtful presentation of a specific historical era. The museum does an excellent job of creating the atmosphere of the past by installing various figures to simulate scenes of travel and daily life. While I would agree that the figures themselves weren't always aesthetically perfect, the recreated scenes and detailed environments successfully brought the history to life, offering a powerful sense of context and time.

As descripted, one of biggest railway museum. Collection mapping mainly french rail history, wich is luckily also world history. Interesantly and complexive. I mean here is possibly everything (about french history in any case) , exept Andre Chapelon´s SNCF 240P class (some other is). For me is it Must see!

The Musée National de l'Automobile, also known as the Cité de l'Automobile or the Mulhouse Car Museum, is a vast complex that houses over 500 classic, prestige, and racing cars. It is considered the largest car museum in the world. The museum showcases the history of automobiles from their inception in the late 19th century to present day.
What a place! Totally didn't expect it to be quite this big or have as many cars and exhibits!! It is well worth the entrance fee and the exhibits are laid out really well. It has around 500 cars and 120 Bugatti's on display! The restaurant is great too and decent value. If you are in the area, visit and spend the afternoon seeing some great cars!
Alasdair M — Google review
If you’re a fan of classic cars, this museum is a mustsee. The collection is vast and seems endless, with many beautifully preserved vintage models. During my visit, there was also a special Tintin exhibition, which made it even more enjoyable.
Izem M — Google review
This was a quick day trip for us while staying in Basel. Amazing collection of automotive history and well worth spending a few hours to explore. The collection of cars from the Tintin books was very cool, particularly if you're a Tintin fan like me!

DEFINITELY A MUST if you're in Mulhouse area, east France. The fact that Musée National de l'Automobile has an collection of more than 400+ cars ranging from more than 100 years ago, is amazing itself. Not to mention they have probably the world most complete collection of Bugatti, like almost a hundred of them. And one of them in the Masterpiece area, the 1936 50T Cabriolet, is now the world most expensive vehicle, worth 100M Euro !!! The details of it, and the idea of building a luxury car back to almost 100 years ago, is really highly admired.
Bill L — Google review
One of the best car museums i’ve ever been. It’s really worth every penny you’re paying for it. Tons of great, rare and unique pieces you will find there. Nice location, brilliant realisation. All cars are in good condition, and like in any other real museum, you can smell oil, gasoline and old leather from them. If you have kids or you just unbelievably love cars, you’ll be happy there
Igor G — Google review
Millions of dollars worth of cars, and they couldn’t get a decent translator for the placards? Honestly it became kind of amusing just how bad the English translations were after a while. The cars are stunning, there is no denying that. Arguably the most complete collection of vintage Bugattis in the world (but surprisingly no modern ones - no Chiron, EB110, not even a Veyron? Maybe they’re locked away somewhere else) 1/4 of the cars in the main hall were covered in white drapes due to construction. To the contractors/ museum officials, I say to you: “ plastic sheeting comes in transparent forms”. Overall a vanity project of a (now dead) rich white guy but there’s some stellar automotive and racing history laid out in these rooms. You’re in Mulhouse, you’re likely gonna go.
Greg M — Google review
Quite possibly one of the greatest car collections in the world. The outside is Beautifully presented... Upon entering the building you have no idea of how overwhelming this place can be. As you begin walking around and seeing a few cars you get lulled into it being a normal museum.... But then you walk into the room with a few Bugattis... You keep walking and seeing more Bugattis... Then you realise, one whole side is just Bugattis 🤯 Then you see the Bugatti Royale.. and realise hold on the have two Bugatti Royales 🤯 .. This place is crazy the sheer number of Bugattis and special cars is crazy... Then the story of the Schlumpf brothers ... Simply put, if you are a car lover you must come here... It's epic.. The shock value never diminishes even after multiple trips
RR C — Google review
One of the best car collections I have seen. From old to new and some extremely rare peices. We spent about 3 hours in here. There were lots of other things inside to keep children entertained too. There was a section all about Tintin which showed the different books and the cars linked to it which was nice. There was a driving simulator, small ride on cars and a vr F1 experience.

There are two main ways to get up to the château that we found. The hard way is up the dirt path at the side of the château near the roadside. The easier way is up the roadway past the houses and through the front gate. Look for the road sign on the slip road. 🇦🇺

A captivating castle, or rather, a charming ruin, providing a picturesque setting to appreciate nature and the night sky. Occasional events, including fires on special occasions like New Year's Eve and some weekends featuring alcohol and food, add to the allure. The castle boasts a cozy atmosphere and surprisingly low light pollution, creating an ideal environment for star gazing.

Beautiful views from the top of the old castle ruins, and informative boards guide you through the structure. A nice way to spend 1-2 hours on a little hike. Not suitable for people less able to walk or baby buggies.

Nestled in the heart of a forest near Kintzheim, La Montagne des Singes is a wildlife park spanning 24 hectares where over 200 Barbary macaques roam freely. Visitors can embark on a guided forest walk to observe these fascinating creatures and learn about their behavior from the knowledgeable staff. The park also features a playground area for children, offering an interactive experience that allows them to simulate being monkeys.
We visited Monkey Mountain today and we had so much fun! The monkeys roam freely throughout the park and get really close to people. You are not supposed to touch them or anything, but they do not seem to mind people being near them. There are many workers in the park, and all of them were very friendly and offered to answer any questions we had about the monkeys. Many of the workers spoke French, English, and German fluently. Killian asked us if we had any questions about the monkeys and explained to us about the different groups of monkeys in the park and even showed us where there was a baby monkey with its mom. We learned a lot about the park and monkeys from him. It was really hot when we were there and many of the monkeys were taking naps or relaxing but they were still visible, active, and fun to watch. We got to see a number of younger monkeys jumping off tree branches into a small pool of water for fun. There were some newborn baby monkeys visible as well. After leaving the monkey area, there were little talks and activities along the path. There was a gift shop and then an adventure playground where my kids spent so much time climbing around. The park also has a Cafe with drinks and snacks. Parking was free and readily available. Overall this was a fun place to visit for people of all ages.

This place was awesome. The monkeys just walk around unbothered, the staff are super friendly and we caught it at a time when there were so many sweet babies to see. Be respectful and follow the rules... Some don't, which is unfortunate. These are wild animals not pets.

This is such a beautiful zoo. The monkeys are all roaming freely around and the staff is very friendly and answers all your questions. I can highly recommend

A very unique experience. The monkeys are uncaged in open areas. It is a very safe atmosphere. There are quite a few staff members monitoring and guiding us through our walk in the park. We are also informed on Do's and Dont's before we enter the park. It was really interesting to see the monkeys up close and they are also well behaved, doing their own thing. Free parking available onsite. There is a cafe/restaurant and a gift shop present here too. The staff are really kind and helpful.

It's a nice activity to do with children. From Selestat train station It's a 10 minute drive. If you don't have a acres, there is a bus (500) that will take you there . The monkeys trail took us around 30 minutes maximum, but outside, there is a cafeteria and a nice picnic area, and a great obstacle trail for kids, and a small playground. Overall our visit was around 3 hours. Beautiful forest. Stroller friendly.

Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park is a park that combines both botanical garden and zoo in its beautifully landscaped grounds. The park plays host to a variety of wild animals such as tigers, lemur, polar bear among others. One interesting feature of the zoo is the Australian outback habitat which houses kangaroos.
Beautifully kept and maintained gardens and zoo. Animals were looked after really well, and we had a great time. There are facilities on site such as toilets, food and drink outlets and a gift shop. They are currently building a new Africa section which looks like it will be incredible! Great value for money and amazing to see endangered species being conserved.
Georgia D — Google review
Nice Zoo with happy and clean animals. Unfortunately, this time half of the park was on reconstruction and some other animals were hiding. Another thing I didn't get is why there is some garbage in the polar bear's pool?
Valeri E — Google review
It took me 4 hours to see everything. However, I was there mid september, so a lot of the flowers died off. So, it would have taken me longer, had I arrived in spring or summer. Well worth the entrance fee.
Dino P — Google review
Due to the weather being gloomy and cold, we couldn't see a lot of the animals. Because of construction and cleaning, only the toilet at the entrance was available, which was such a hassle as we didn't know about it. My favourite part of the visit was the Petits Amazon and seeing the cutest little beings.
Anne M — Google review
The Zoo is in the process of reconstructing the African section, so some areas are not accessible, but it's still a MUST see in Mulhouse. It houses several animals in extreme danger of extinction, and performs solid scientific studies and helps in their preservation. Among the rarest the Panthera Nebulosa and the Amur Leopard are magnificent examples. The Sea Lions, the Red Panda, the meerkats, the Polar bears.... Indeed a small and very interesting Zoo.
Hector G — Google review
Amazing zoo and botanical garden, not big, but some rare animals, and nice pace, good for walks, I would love come again
Katerina K — Google review
Hi, We visited on Sunday, so it wasn't crowded. But it was raining, so most of the animals were hiding. Apart from that it was Nice. 1) Buy your before coming to avoid queuing. 2)Most sure the weather is great to be able to see all the animals. 3)To avoid people go on Sunday. Bonus point: the parking is free.

A wonderful experience! The park is beautifully maintained, with a great mix of fascinating animals and lush botanical gardens. It’s perfect for families, nature lovers, or anyone looking for a relaxing and educational day out. The enclosures are spacious and thoughtfully designed, and you can really see the care for conservation. Ticket prices were reduced due to some renovation works, which was a nice bonus. The Eagle Park, located at the Hilltop medieval castle in Kintzheim, offers an impressive spectacle featuring the greatest birds of prey freely flying against the backdrop of the castle ruins. The park hosts bird-of-prey shows and an exhibition on birds in its old cellars. Visitors can enjoy a participatory show with clear and precise explanations suitable for families with children. The experience is described as vivid, colorful, and exciting, making it a must-see attraction.
Beautiful medieval castle and a very impressive show with birds of prey! They display a wide variety of birds, which fly close over the heads of the spectators during some acts. It's worth pointing out that it's a bit of a walk from the car park to the castle. Very highly recommended!
Roel F — Google review
I enjoyed the eagle park but only gave it 4 stars as parking for motorcycles is nonexistent and you are left to park on loose rough stone on a fairly steep slope.
Mark M — Google review
It's a well-oiled machine with an exciting speaker, overall interesting and with an activity sheet for children to fill in. Minus points were that 1/ I felt there isn't any innovation in this attraction. 2/ The gentleman responsible for the children's activity room was sleeping at his desk (for real!), and 3/ the PPT presentation (20 min) was interesting but should be a little more children-friendly.

Cigoland Amusement Park offers a variety of family-friendly attractions, including a roller coaster, carousel, water rides, and a mini train. The park also features educational experiences for young children with playgrounds, giant ducks on a water basin, circuits in electric cars, and a monorail passing over stork nests. As the symbol of Alsace, storks are prominently featured in the park's dedicated area where visitors can learn about these birds.
We took our two grandchildren there on a very hot Tuesday. It became very apparent early on that they were a little old for many of the attractions; they are 8 & 10. However, the water features saved the day, they particularly liked the water slides. There were plenty of places for us to sit in the shade, despite it being very busy. As others have said, the mine train ride was also much appreciated and worth the queue.
Paul M — Google review
Full of Storks and domestic animals this amusement park reminds us that enjoyment can be achieved by simple and relaxed activities. This park is for kids between age 2-12 so it is interesting for younger kids. There are among others, a nice and quite smooth ride roller coaster, a tractor and stork ring and a water area. So, if interested bring your swimming suit. There is also a circus offering small and simple shows and a big free of charge parking lot just outside.
Petros P — Google review
I didn't expect one of my favorite parts about visiting Alsace to be a trip to an amusement park but the decorations were very Halloween/autumnal and we really enjoyed ourselves. We were celebrating our son turning 4 and did something different in coming here. While a bit pricey (€60 for us and him), we spent most of the day exploring the attractions and it was worth it.
Sierra G — Google review
Cute places to spend a few hours with your kids (up to 10 years old!). Not to much attraction, but the atmosphere with Alsace views and storks are worth the fair price. Don't miss the circus show!!

I quite enjoyed the experience though it was slammed. The waits were often close to an hour each without a cloud in the sky. There was some shade but limited on to nonexistent on a few ridea. Still, my son had a great time and I'd take him back if he asked.

We were driving from Colmar to Freiburg and stumbled on this riverboat cruise completely by chance and we were so happy we did. The captain and crew are very friendly and the food was excellent. Towards the end of the cruise the captain let the children on board ride with him on the bridge which was a fantastic treat for them. It is a wonderful afternoon repose and it is priced very nicely, worth every euro. I cannot recommend this adventure enough!

Breisacher Münster St. Stephan

It was a bit of a steep walk up to St. Stephan today but we’ll worth it. The view from the courtyard spans the Old town and the Rhine Valley and is so lovely! The cathedral itself is magnificent. The original was heavily bombed during WW II but has been rebuilt. Located high on the Münsterberg, its two towers, the building hides outstanding works of art.

A steep walk gets you to the top, but well worth it. Besides seeing the medieval building, you get spectacular views in most directions. Impressive inside and out!
T S — Google review
Nice stroll uphill toward the church in early fall. Beautiful views of the city from the park around it. Romanesque church construction was completed in 1230 on the site of the earlier church structure.
Mike Z — Google review
The Breisach Minster on the Rhine is clearly visible from afar. The two distinct church towers of the three-aisled building are striking. These towers are located in the choir area, atypically for a Christian religious building. The church dates from the late Romanesque period of the 12th century and was expanded to the Gothic style of the 15th century. Breisach's patron saints, Gervasius and Protasius, are also venerated here. The Breisach Minster is known for its art-historically significant interior furnishings, for example, the over 100-square-meter mural "The Last Judgment" by Martin Schongauer and, above all, the high altar from the workshop of Master H. L. The exact construction date of the minster is unknown. It was probably begun after 1185 and completed in 1230. In the 13th century, the church was expanded with a Gothic choir with a polygonal spire, the roof of which was dendrochronologically dated to 1292. The high altar of Breisach Minster is an open reredos made of linden wood. It consists of two massive wings, a predella, and a rising spire. The high altar was carved between 1523 and 1526 by a master who left the monogram HL (→ Master HL). These initials could be attributed to the sculptor Hans Loy, who was registered in the Freiburg Painters' Guild in 1519/20. However, almost nothing is known about Hans Loy. According to a local legend, the initials stand for an artist named Hans Liefrink. The altar is signed three times with the master's monogram HL in the form of small tablets, each at the feet of Mary, Christ, and God the Father. On a prayer book held aloft by an angel next to the figure of God the Father on the right side of the altar, the year 1526—the year of completion—is visible under infrared light. The high altar survived both the iconoclasm and the destruction of the Second World War; it and its figures were brought to safety in the storage room of the Archbishop's Ordinariate in Freiburg. The mural of the Last Judgment by the Colmar painter and graphic artist Martin Schongauer is located on three walls in the west wing of St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is assumed that Schongauer acquired, or had to acquire, citizenship in order to receive the large commission. Schongauer, who was already highly respected during his lifetime, created a significant mural, which is the largest depiction of this subject north of the Alps. Based on current research, it can be assumed that Schongauer applied his paintings to existing plaster. The triptych depicts the Last Judgment in the central panel on the west wall (13.2 by 7.4 meters), while the wings depict the Entry of the Blessed into Paradise on the south wall and the Fall of the Damned into Hell on the north wall (each 14.4 by 7 meters). The painted surface of the three walls together measures 145 square meters. This work by Schongauer is described as unusually monumental. The events unfold almost at the viewing level. The small number of figures is remarkable – eleven in the paradise scene, ten in the hell scene, and seven in the resurrection scene. The figures are depicted approximately twice life-size, thus underscoring the powerful effect. Art historians highly value the significance of this mural. They say it is not only characterized by its masterly craftsmanship; the style of depiction and the selection of motifs are also exceptional.

Although it was heavily damaged in WWII, it was rebuilt and today stands as a marker to be viewed from anywhere in the region. Breisach is rich in history and a lovely place to explore. We are making plans to return to enjoy the town and visit The Black Forest.

Nice little "actice" church in Breisach. It is a little bit of a steep walk for the elderly up to the church, but the view, and the time spent in the church and surrounding area is worth it. Afterwards, walk down, enjoy the city square and relax with a Café at one of the local shops. Note, a couple of the pictures are panoramic.

Established in 1874, Zoo Basel is the oldest zoo in Switzerland and a must-visit attraction. Known as "Zolli" by locals, it houses a diverse range of animals including gorillas, snow leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, and chimpanzees. The well-maintained park offers a pleasant summer stroll while the animal houses and vivarium are popular during winter.
A compact zoo by size but full of animals. It's way easier to get through this than the one in Zurich if you're with small kids. The aquarium is gorgeous!

This zoo os great with kids. The surounding are made with so many details in mind, everything is green when you walk around. My kids and I loved it. There is great food stations too, amany animals. Especially the aquarium part is super big and nice too. The only downside, its in the middle of the city of Basel, a little hard to get too.

Love love this place- I went pretty late (4-6pm). Although I skipped the crowds, some of the animals were already in their enclosures (not in exhibit), but it didn’t detract from my joy of being there. Loved the vivarium, farm animals, snow leopard, flamingos, meerkats, and penguins. I would have loved to be able to see the new hippo baby though :(.

Zoo was good for a city zoo. I don't want to spoil it so only posted a miniscule amount of photos. I loved going into the bird house. It had some levels to it so find the elevator or stairs. Spent from just after 9am until 4pm.

It's a very strange and beautiful place. They let the penguins walk freely in the zoo. However, the path was very clean. The staff there were very kind. Everything was good. I was there for 6 hours and I didn't want to leave at all. It was very enjoyable to be with the animals. I wish they were free in the wild, but the animals are having fun there too. The animals are definitely happy there. I recommend you to go there to enjoy being with nature.

What a lovely zoo- lots to see with a variety of animals. I particularly liked the giraffe enclosure. There was also a lovely coffee shop and gift shop near the entrance.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Basel Town Hall, also known as Rathaus, is a historic building located in the heart of the city. Constructed over 500 years ago, it serves as the seat of the local legislature. The vibrant red sandstone exterior makes it a prominent landmark in Marktplatz, where visitors can explore an outdoor marketplace and enjoy street performances. Inside, the town hall features impressive frescoes and a grand wooden staircase.
One of the most beautiful sights in Basel is the colorful building of the town hall located on the market square. A small market is usually held in front of the building (fresh vegetables - fruit, bakery products). Its inner courtyard is free to visit. It is worth a visit.

Impressive red building.... incredible architecture. The atrium with its stunning murals and the imposing statue is very interesting. It is located in the center of the city and certainly stands out because of its color.... free entry to the atrium is allowed!

The Rathaus (town hall)—very impressive red building with rich decorations inside. Seems like you need a tour to fully explore it though.

Basel Town Hall stands as an impressive cultural keepsake of the city. It is highly recommended to check out if you are close by, it also serves as a basis for the centre of the city and often has many pop-up shops close by and restaurants as well. There is a lot of history here if you’re wanting to know more about the city.

Cathedral
Sights & Landmarks
The Basler Münster, also known as Basel Minster, is a stunning Gothic-style Protestant cathedral with origins dating back to the 9th century. Its red sandstone walls, colorful roof tiles, and twin towers make it an iconic landmark in Basel. The cathedral's construction spanned several centuries and features a mix of Romantic and Gothic styles. Destroyed in an earthquake in 1356, the impressive structure was rebuilt and converted into a Reformed Protestant Church.
Fantastic views from the top of Basel Munster! It costs 6 CHF to go to the top and there is an opportunity to get magnificent views out at different levels as well as a two towers! The cathedral itself is beautiful and I would recommend a walk around before heading up the towers!
Ben S — Google review
Definitely worth the visit, the building is beautifully crafted. If you walk behind the building you will have an excellent view overlooking the River. Lots of people were having picnics and relaxing here.
Mrs P — Google review
Solo travelers are not allowed to climb the towers, for suicide prevention reasons. You can find another tourist and ask to accompany them, but without the employee seeing this. Don't let them know you are strangers. There's a small fee to climb the towers and it's well worth it. Basel Minster was built between the 11th and 16th centuries in a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. After the 1356 earthquake, it was significantly rebuilt incorporating Gothic elements such as pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and large stained-glass windows. The cathedral is made of red sandstone and is notable for its two main towers, St. George’s and St. Martin’s, and its patterned tile roof. The Minster served as the Catholic cathedral until the Reformation in 1529, after which it became a Reformed Protestant church. The Gallus Gate at Basel Minster is the oldest Romanesque figure portal in the German-speaking world, built around 1185. In the tympanum is Christ as Judge of the World, accompanied by Peter and a donor figure, while the lintel below shows the Parable of the Ten Virgins. During the Reformation in Basel (1529), iconoclasm took place at Basel Minster as part of the city’s shift from Catholicism to Protestantism. Religious images, statues, and altars that were seen as idolatrous were removed or destroyed. The interior today remains relatively bare compared to its original medieval design.
Kent W — Google review
It was originally built in the 1000’s as a Roman Catholic Cathedral and became a Protestant church. There’s no fee to get in the church but there’s a fee to go up the top. Behind the church is the Rhine River.
Mary A — Google review
Don’t miss the chance to reach the top of the church. While climbing, it might seem like you’ve reached the end, but be sure to check—there’s a good chance there’s a way to go even higher."
A N — Google review
Had a free walk around then spotted people paying to go up the towers. We tried this for a small charge and it's well worth the steep steps to go to the 3 levels available. Bit tight at times depending on how many people go up but numbers are controlled.
Jared E — Google review
A very beautiful and nice cathedral! You can have an amazing view over Basel from the top!
Codrin G — Google review
Basel Minster is absolutely worth a visit! I’ve climbed several church towers across Switzerland, but this one had the narrowest spire staircase I’ve ever squeezed through! It’s a bit of a tight spiral toward the top, but that only adds to the adventure. Once you reach the viewing platform, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of Basel, the Rhine, and even into France and Germany on a clear day. The cathedral itself is beautifully maintained, with intricate stonework and a peaceful courtyard. It’s a perfect mix of charm, challenge, and postcard-worthy scenery. Don’t miss it!

Museums
Kunstmuseum Basel, also known as the Fine Art Museum, is a renowned art institution with an extensive collection spanning from the 15th to the 21st century. It features works by Holbein and other regional artists from different periods. The museum is part of Basel's rich cultural scene, which includes various privately funded museums and galleries. Visitors can explore diverse experiences such as the Pharmacy Museum, Cartoon Museum, and Paper Mill Museum.
Honestly, an amazing art museum in Basel. I would say this is my favorite museum that I went to while visiting this beautiful city and would highly recommend to any museum or art fan to do the same. They have tons of classic works by world famous artists as well as artists that I’ve never heard of. The works spans many countries and many generations and it’s a huge wealth of knowledge and beauty to see in one visit. It would be easy to spend over four hours here but we spent about 2 1/2 hours really soaking in everything. It’s three main floors divided into different time periods and art styles and on the bottom floor they have a really nice café where we enjoyed some lattes before heading out into the rain. Pricing is fair and the building is large and beautiful. No bags or umbrellas are allowed, but they have lockers right at the front entrance for free for you to place your valuables. They are also really lenient about photography just as long as you don’t use flash. The entire staff was very polite and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Basel to check this place out.
Zan L — Google review
Wow! We wish we had had more time to see all the amazing art! Quiet and clean. Lockers for backpacks- easy to use. Put this on your to do list when you are in Basel. Give yourself 3 hours at least.
Allie B — Google review
This museum is truly the treasure of Switzerland, imagine MoMA & The Met combined in one address. As an active art lover and collector, I have not spent too much time in this museum before unfortunately, as I had only been there for events during Art Basel week. Finally I had the chance to come back to Basel and dedicate some time for a thorough visit and viewing last week, and it was for nearly 6 hours, and every moment was well spent. The museums have two buildings connected by an underground tunnel, with vast permanent collections from Renaissance & Early Modern (15th-16th c.) with strong holdings from the Upper Rhine: Hans Holbein the Younger, the Amerbach Cabinet origins; 17th-18th Centuries, Flemish and Dutch masters (like Rubens, Rembrandt); 19th Century of Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Symbolism. Simply impressive collections from Monet, Cézanne, Manet, Van Gogh. Swiss artists too, such as Ferdinand Hodler. Then the 20th Century including major movement coverage: Fauvism, Cubism, Expressionism, Surrealism, Constructivism with Important works from artists: Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Marc Chagall, Piet Mondrian etc. The collections from this era at this museum impressed me the most this time! The Post Modern / contemporary collections are also worthy investigating, from Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Helen Frankenthaler, Miriam Cahn, Dan Flavin, Kara Walker, Bruce Nauman, Calder and more. There are plenty of rooms to wonder with comfortable sofas in and out the exhibition halls, so you could really take time to experience the art, and it is never too crowded with too many phone cameras or noises around. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, very refreshing especially compared with other major museums around the world. Highly recommend it for art enthusiasts, families and it is a must visit when in Basel.

wonderful museum in the heart of Basel city. The two buildings offer a wider variety of historic and contemporary art. Well curated . Definitely a must go for a Basel visit.
C. B — Google review
The entry price is quite high, but if you’re into modern and contemporary art, there’s plenty to explore. The collection includes works by Picasso,Van Gogh, Kandinsky, and Holbein, among other major names. The architecture itself is impressive. clean, modern, and beautifully designed. Worth visiting if you enjoy art museums.
Beril D — Google review
The paintings were good but to be honest they were not great! It felt mediaeval and repeated with the paintings and the work structures. The museum has an old museum and the new and of the two, I think the new section is good. Because of the reviews and recommendations on Google, one gets eager and also excited to visit this museum but for me it was just an ordinary museum with no great paintings on display. However the most humane and exceptional part of the museum visit are the people who manage the ticket counters and offices. They are kind, gracious and always always ready to help and assist. I would remember the visit to the most gracious lady sitting at the ticket counter, who asked me to check for the Basel card and advised me to call the hotel for the digital copy to save me some money. Also at the same time a couple offering me to share their card with me, even asking me if they can pay half the amount for me. That was generous of them, I assured them that money is not the issue but the kind lady just wanted to save my money. I got the card through my mail in about 15 minutes and more than me the lady at the counter was happy. That's the beauty of Basel and its people! I took the tour and was happy to not miss it because it was more than a tour for me. The building is amazingly attractive and thoughtfully built. The surrounding area is just like another place within the old World charm of that area, just a few minutes away from the munster!
Neemi T — Google review
This was the most humiliating and hostile museum experience I have ever had. An employee wrongly accused me of taking a photo, which I was not, then followed me upstairs. He walked back and forth with another staff member, laughing and staring at me. Later, he deliberately waited for me, locked eyes, and stood there until I spoke. When I asked why he was staring, we had a full conversation where he mocked me, laughed at me, and bullied me instead of acting professionally. It felt like he wanted to provoke me into a confrontation. I am a quiet, respectful visitor, and it felt like he singled me out as an easy person to intimidate. Instead of enjoying the art, I was harassed until I left the museum in tears. For such an expensive ticket, this treatment is completely unacceptable. A museum should be a place of inspiration and safety, not surveillance, intimidation, and humiliation. I strongly recommend avoiding this museum if you expect basic respect as a visitor.
Mariah — Google review
It's nice. Not outstanding. The collection is a bit of a random mix and it's curated in a strange way. Not that much art really, but I did like the medieval art they had.

As a foreigner visiting this place, it was a bit confusing, navigating the labyrinth of pools, hallways, locker rooms, and entrances that required a key fob. That said, this place has a lot of history and is a popular attraction for this small town. It’s a bit pricey unless you plan on spending the whole day.

Amazing coffee here! One of the best specialty coffee I’ve had in Germany. The flat white was smooth and balanced, and the cascara soda was such a refreshing surprise on a sunny day. What a gem. After searching and searching for a decent specialty coffee place in Freiburg, we finally found a good one. Baechle Baristas are pretty knowledgeable, espresso-based drinks have a good balance of bold/fruity/acidity taste, and space quite intimate. Weekend brunch is highly recommended and a must try are the tomatoe brioche and shakshouka, super tasty and beautiful dishes. Coffee presentation is pretty plain (see pic) in a mug, it can be pimped by including a small wooden coaster and spoon on the side for better presentation. But here you’ll find one of the best tasting coffee blends for sure! Pastries are also yummy!

To be honest, we didn't try the coffee or any other drinks, but we did order cakes, and unfortunately, all of them were dry. The coffee roll, in particular, was quite disappointing, and we were expecting a much better dessert experience. Sadly, every cake we tried was equally underwhelming.

Markthalle in Freiburg is a vibrant food market located just a few steps away from Martinstor. It offers a diverse culinary experience with options ranging from Italian, Middle Eastern, and Asian cuisines to French, Indian, Brazilian, and German specialties. Housed in the halls of a former printing press, this gastronomic hub features over 20 stalls resembling a culinary bazaar. In the evening, the atmosphere comes alive with live music at various bars and restaurants within the market.
I have come home from my travels over a week ago still thinking about the food from the Afghan food stall called Kabul. It felt like a warm hug from a grandma. I have only tried Afghan food once before when I was a child, so as soon as I saw the rice on display, it was like I was being drawn to it. I tried to use google translate but no luck so I just looked at the pictures and ordered the beef with rice and salad. It was so good I could fly back just to eat it again. It cost €14 for a plate and it’s a food hall so you just sit anywhere to eat. They had this amazingggg red chili sauce on the top of their counter which just elevated the dish. I was with friends and they got the Brazilian dish and they couldn’t finish their food because they said it was quite bland 😂 but ended up sharing my plate with me (even though I really didn’t want to share because it was so good) And then another friend of mine got the mixed bowl and they said the okra was really good. The servers spoke English and it was super quick service, very simple and although I was thinking I’d try some German food on my quick visit to the town, I will now always bang on about the Afghan food 😂

It’s not a regular food court! They have live DJ and cute disco ball on the weekend evening. But everyone needs to go to the asian food stall at the corner , close to the stage. I went there everyday along 3 days in Freiburg. As an Asian coming from Asia, i could tell that they serve really good quality of food and flavor bomb!

A large and very impressive place, with beautiful interior architecture. The main hall is stunning and worth the visit. However, the climb to the top is not particularly special. Once you reach the upper level, you can pay extra to go a bit higher, but it’s unnecessary and not worth the money. The stairs are narrow, making it extremely difficult to pass when people are coming in the opposite direction — the same problem on the way down. You can also see the bell up close, but be aware that the sound is deafening.

Freiburg Cathedral is absolutely beautiful, full of incredible details everywhere you look. The architecture is stunning. Every corner of the cathedral shows amazing craftsmanship. It’s truly a must-see! ✨

It's free to visit no entry fee needed. Loved the tinted glasswork and the atmosphere. Very peaceful as other churches around. What catches the eye is the architecture. Worth a visit.

Cathedral’s history started being Romanesque church around 1200, transitioned to Gothic structure in 1250s (inspired by nearby Strasbourg cathedral) with West Tower being completed in 1330. While the city was heavily bombed in WW2, cathedral survived with minor damage (likely due to being notable landmark for Allied Bombers).

I love visiting Cathedrals! Each city has their own unique church and style and I just love the architectural designs on them! This one was one of my favorites! The interior was just breathtaking and you can tell how much effort went into the design because each statue is so intricate!

I became aware of Freiburger Münster on my first day in Freiburg. It's really hard to miss the sight of it. I visited it on my first night when it was lit up. The enormous size of it and amount of decorative detail left me speechless. One day I noticed that the front entrance was open for visitors, so I took the opportunity. I wasn't prepared for the grandure that awaited me inside. The vast volume of the interior left my mouth hanging open many times as I analyzed the columns and ceilings. I spent alot of time studying the stained glass windows which depict many vivid stories. What's great about the windows is that you absolutely can't experience them the same way from outside. The quality of light inside the cathedral, from the outside light when it hits the windows, is only fit for a structure this caliber. Please, out of respect, obey the signs and dont walk over or through the areas which are clearly marked off. Also, please dont take videos and photo's of the inside, just enjoy the experience of the moment.

A stunning gothic cathedral with beautiful stained glass windows. Definitely worth a visit from outside and inside. Would suggest going at night to enjoy the views.

Münsterplatz, also known as Cathedral Square, is a bustling public square located at the heart of the old town in Münster. The square is dominated by the impressive Gothic cathedral made of red sandstone, which is renowned for its towering spire visible from afar. Visitors can explore the square and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, especially during the farmer's markets held here throughout the week.

Mountains
Schlossberg is a popular mountain in Freiburg, offering stunning views of the city's ancient Old Town. It is a favorite spot for locals to relax in the beer garden, dine at the restaurant, and admire the beautiful sunset. The mountain was named after the Zahringen Dukes who built Burghalden Castle there almost 1000 years ago. Today, only ruins of this castle remain.
Beautiful views of the city. Definitely worth the visit, but unless you're fit enough, do yourself a favour and take the Schlossbergbahn from Stadtgarten (take any tram to Europaplatz). Once out of the funicular, there's a flat path with breaks for views - suitable for those with more limited physical ability. For those with the stamina, take the steep climbs up to the tower - the steeper the climb the shorter the route.

Beautiful place! Schlossberg tower is 35mt high and you can join the view of the city from there. Of course to get to the tower, a walk in the forest is recommended.

Best place to see sunset in Freiburg. Would recommend to go there during sunset time. Also you will get good view of city from top and all along the way.

If you enjoy hiking, discovering old cities, walking in forests, cultural visits to old castles, this place is absolutely right for you. A must visit for adventurers who come to Freiburg. There are two ways to go up the mountain; the long paved and slightly inclined road which of course is longer, and the other steep, spiral short way to the peak. I took the shorter one upward and the longer on my way down to enjoy the beauty of both. Up at the highest point you find a historical compass map for the directions and cities inside Germany. On your way up, you’ll pass by 2 telescopes through which you can view any direction you want really close. To use them you’ll need 50 cents or 1 euro coins. There is a nice restaurant with breath taking view where you can enjoy your meal right on the mountain of Schlossberg. Suitable for families, couples, friends and children but with care and caution. Take a lot of photos there and enjoy the nature!

You will be amazed by the panorama view of the city. It takes around half an hour walk to get to the very top. Some paths are steep but it is worth
