Museums
Musée Magnin is a splendid 17th-century townhouse in Dijon that showcases an impressive collection of paintings spanning from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Housed in an elegant mansion, this private museum offers a unique opportunity to admire exquisite artworks within a historical setting. The museum is one of the many attractions in Dijon, known for its rich cultural heritage and diverse range of experiences.
Small wonderful museum in the center of Dijon. For a small price we got a lot of fun. Mostly paintings from the 17th-18th centuries are collected. You can take a guide to the museum in several languages completely free of charge. And the building itself is interesting from an architectural point of view with a nice courtyard.

Free entry is a bonus. Some art pieces are beautiful. Description on the art are in French . Need google translate. Not very big area compared with The Louvre in Paris Bag deposit I guess is complimentary

A museum full of old paintings but as well with furniture and deco... very cool.
Luis G — Google review
I really enjoyed my visit. Young staff people were friendly, polite and spoke English. I was there close to the closing time, so it was quiet, intimate and enjoyable. No English legends though, but the titles and the art are mostly self-explanatory.

A beautifully designed museum where the rooms were furnished in old styles. Not to overwhelming with paintings, and a lot of pretty and interesting ones. Would have loved to have text about the paintings in English!

Loved the collection of early artists, specially the Dutch and Belgium. It was free entrance, just go there and let the atmosphere get you.

Produce market
Market
Les Halles Market in Dijon, France is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The market offers a wide array of specialty cheeses, freshly baked breads, pastries, and artisan chocolates. The lively atmosphere under Gustave Eiffel's iron roof reflects the locals' passion for sourcing the finest produce in Burgundy. Visitors can explore the market on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings to indulge in the pungent cheese, juicy seasonal fruits, or jambon persille.
Do you love markets ? I sure do, and this one is excellent. It offers any number of meats, cheeses, sea food and so many other delicious choices.
Clint W — Google review
A must for the gourmet. Great selection, not always the cheapest, but good quality goods of fish, meat, poultry, offal, cheese and so on and friendly, professional market vendors. Stay for a good wine aside fresh purchased huîtres

Category: Public Food Market. We love visiting public food markets and have strolled many market aisles in many cities and countries. Some food markets have transformed into food halls, like Mercado San Miquel in Madrid (one of my favorite places in the world). Some markets that once sold food now sell mostly clothes and trinkets. We shared a freshly baked Pain au Chocolate as we strolled among this market’s stalls. I’m happy to report that the Les Halles Dijon market is still mostly traditional, selling uncooked food, with many butchers, fishmongers, cheese mongers, olive merchants, wine merchants, Boulangers, and Patissiers plying their wares in this 19th Century cast iron Victorian-style building. There was probably more cheese than anything else. No surprise there. There was a little prepared food and also a wine bar, which was surprisingly busy during our morning visit. A fantastic variety of fresh mests and vegetables. Plus a good variety of chacuterie products which we bought. It was a wonderful experience to buy food and sit at the Cafe with a fabulous coffee and eat it. Has to be a must for a visit. The people tolerate us tourists well. We had good times joking with the locals too.

Very nice market. Everything from farmer…meats , cheeses, vegetables, fruits, wines, and fish. 19th C glass and steel building. Walk take the T1 or T2 tram to the Godrons les Halles stop. Or get within a couple of blocks on the free City Electric bus. Have fun!

Not all stalls were open on a Thursday so might be better to go on a Saturday. Still plenty of local food to buy!

The Palais des Ducs et des États de Bourgogne, located in the heart of Dijon, is a medieval palace housing an impressive collection of artifacts dating back to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. This historic site also hosts the Musee des Beaux Arts, one of the most spectacular museums in Dijon.
Amazing place to visit. Especially the room with the crypt and the sculptures throughout the museum space. Definitely worth the visit.
Los N — Google review
In short: majestic architecture, rich history, free art, and one of the best views in Dijon—this palace truly captures the spirit of Burgundy.
Azmarina T — Google review
To visit the Palace you shall visit the museum of fine arts. A lot of paintings and art pieces. The top thing to see is the Duques tombs.... JUST AMAZING.
Luis G — Google review
It is a very imposing palace from the outside and it was interesting to look round it. Most of the building has been converted into an art museum containing less well known paintings. The main room containing the ducal tombs was worth seeing, but apart from that it was difficult to get a feeling of what the Palace used to be like.
Christine A — Google review
Absolutely beautiful outside and inside, definitely must do when coming to visit Dijon. Easy access, elevators help when you’re tired of walking stairs. The Tour of the Tower of Phillipe Le Bon is well worth the time and effort. Frequent stops and history lessons with knowledgeable guides.
Marie H — Google review
Amazing collection of art and historical pieces. Especially considering this is a regional Capital and not Paris where one would expect these treasures. No entrance fee. The people of Burgundy rightfully feel art and history are important.
Mischa — Google review
Palace turned into a museum. There were a lot of amazing pieces of artwork and artifacts. The tombs were especially beguiling in their intricacies and detailing. I am continually awed by the workmanship and craftsmanship. I can barely write cursive anymore and couldn’t imagine wielding a carving tool to chisel out lace and filigree. I will stick to tapping on a keyboard and come back here to see the mastery of yesterday’s.

Located in the city center of Dijon, Tour Philippe le Bon is a historical tower built between 1450 and 1460. It offers guided tours that involve climbing 316 steps to reach the top, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The tower is part of the Ducal Palace and is one of its oldest surviving sections.
I honestly thought the climb would be harder. I didn’t get winded, and the stairs were wide enough not to have to “grapevine” sideways up and down them. The tour was really inexpensive, as well as informative! And there were a few breaks in the ascent to learn about the tower’s history, and catch your breath if necessary. And the views are incomparable!
K J — Google review
On the night of 21 July, 2024, my wife asked me if I’d join her to climb up the tower the following day, I said no right away as I did not want to repeat the knee straining experience. My wife booked the 3pm guided tour and I watched possible signs of her from down under. I had thought about taking a photo take of her when she was up. It tuned out that there was an additional safety barrier on the tower roof and I could only capture her selfie camera stick when she extended it beyond the barrier.
Peter C — Google review
Great view from the top of the tower over the city. The tour guide was excellent. 316 steps up but stop at intervals for a guided talk.
John G — Google review
You have an amazing view from up the tower! One has to buy tickets in advance, because there's only a few timeslots, but it's worth the input.
Leon B — Google review
A beautiful square in the center of Dijon with lots of restaurants and local shops to buy products from this area. During summer it's very busy with tourists but that makes the square a living area. The buildings are having the beautiful French architecture which makes the place a must to visit when you're in Dijon
Erwin N — Google review
Took the guided tour because it was included in the city pass. The guide spoke English well, and conducted the tour bilingually. The facts she gave seemed meager, and few went beyond facts and numbers off a Wikipedia page. She also didn't seem very interested in taking or answering questions. A good guide with some passion could make it more interesting without a doubt. View from the top was nice.
Bas B — Google review
It is the best place to enjoy a panoramic view of Dijon city. It is an unforgettable part of your trip to France. To climb the tower, you need to book a tour, which can be done online or at the tourist information office. After booking on the Internet, I had a problem with my schedule, but after consulting with the tourist information office, they changed the time for my booking kindly. Tours are offered in both French and English. Tour guid explains the history of tower with climbing the tower.

The tower and view is spectacular. I also want to highlight the amazing staff when purchasing tickets and the tour guide. They were very friendly and helpful. I like how they pace the climb up the stairs and share some of the history. Great job!

Restaurant
Maison Millière is a historic establishment dating back to 1483, known for its well-preserved half-timber architecture and association with the film Cyrano. Originally built by textile merchant Guillaume Milliere, this classic building features visible support timbers and housed a shop on the first floor with living quarters above. Situated near iconic landmarks like the Church of Notre-Dame, it offers a charming garden courtyard for enjoying meals.
We had a wonderful coffee and wine here since we only visited during the teashop time. Jean- Francois and Lydia are wonderful, warm people and I loved the art and conversation that Jean- Francois offered. Beautiful space and warm atmosphere - people would join into song at times and it was great to spend a moment to slow down here. Check out the jewelry that is handmade in the shop section as well!

We had such lovely service from the gentleman who ran this shop. So kind and friendly that we came back twice to buy more souvenirs. He was happy to speak English and tell us a little about himself and the beauty of the town.

This is a quaint (and apparently historical) little place with garden at the back. We very much enjoyed our lunch there during a day trip to Dijon. The pork we had (marinated in soy sauce and coriander) was particularly tasty. Service was ok. Worth a stop.

Very reasonably priced, great assortment of teas and drinks! Highly recommend the hotel chocolate with e'spices (reminded me of Christmas!) and spiced chai. Be ready to wait as sometimes there is only one person manning the cafe and he is really doing his best!!

Traditional food at its best in Dijon. Place: it is on an alley on the side to notre dame cathedral in Dijon. The place is beautiful and very traditional, so is it decorated. It is charming. Service: you need to book here for dinner, we did by luck. The service is super kind they are young people that is looking forward to help you and recommend you the best. However they are only 2 and they lack sometimes attention Food: Starters, snails and poached eggs on wine souce. The scargots were one of the most beautiful things I have ever tried. Covered on a freshly made puff pastry. If you come here just try it. The eggs were also good but compared to the snails was nothing. Mains. seabreem with a risotto and Turkey with potatoes and roasted vegetables. Both perfectly cooked. Lacked a bit of extra taste on the turkey. Dessert: creme brule and caramelized pumpkin with mascarpone cheese. Just one word, delicious. I strongly recommend this place. Great value, authentic cuisine and kind service.

L'Essentiel is a modern dining spot located in Dijon, just a short walk away from the town center. The restaurant's stylish and colorful interior features a mix of classic and contemporary elements, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. Chef Richard Bernigaud, with experience from renowned establishments, showcases his culinary expertise by using fresh ingredients sourced from nearby markets to create comforting yet innovative dishes.
Excellent ! From start to finish, every bite is a true source of happiness. Seasoning is great , and savors perfectly balance. A very good place to consider while in Dijon. Service is also fantastic thanks for this great time.

Amazing restaurant with lovely waiters and a very nice atmosphere. You can really feel the care that has gone into the menu, cooking and service. We opted for the set menu of three courses, very reasonably priced at €54. However they also brought around some very tasty amuse bouches to start as well as some sweet treats to finish - not to mention the very good bread they kept us supplied with throughout the meal. Each course was delicious, with carefully selected and interesting ingredients that really popped on their own whilst complimenting the dish as a whole. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

One of the loveliest dining experiences - the chef is an artist and a master of the cuisine. Front of the house are knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Our first visit to Dijon! They are a small local bistro with set menu options. We selected 3 courses plus optional local cheese plate.

Service was very welcoming and described each dish that came out, we went with the 6 course menu. The food was amazing, great combinations of flavours cooked to perfection. Plated beautifully. Fantastic experience highly recommended for a fine dining experience in Dijon.

We went in for a quick lunch at 30 EUR for a starter and a main. It was delicious and the service was quick and attentive. I would visit again if in Dijon again.
Thomas J — Google review
Had the most fantastic evening here. I have very basic French at best, but that proved no problem. The front of house team are excellent and were able to describe everything in English for me. I've eaten some very good food on this trip to France, but this would rate right up there. It's not cheap, but you get the full experience and it feels worth every cent. If I get back to Dijon, I'll certainly be coming back to L'Essentiel.
Gary B — Google review
Everything I ate in this restaurant was delicious. Opted for the 3- course menu for €49. The appetizer was the only vegetarian option on the menu and that is ok. It didn’t hurt my feelings that the main course did not have a non-meat option as the roasted lamb plate with root vegetables was to die for. Literally. Every bite was slowly savored as I know I won’t get something as good anywhere else anytime soon. The service was impeccable. What an experience! 🤩

Every dish is spot on for taste, texture & flavour. We can see the glittering eyes of the chef with lots of passion in what he is doing. Impressive wine list and excellence service for the front of house. We will be back if we are in the area.

"ORIGINE by Tomofumi Uchimura" is a top restaurant in Dijon, where Japanese chef Tomofumi Uchimura showcases his expertise in French cuisine with subtle Japanese influences. His dishes feature Burgundy produce, such as snails from Vernot and Charolais beef, elevated with finesse. The upscale eatery offers prix-fixe menus that highlight the harmony of textures and flavors, beautifully presented in a sleek dining room.
service with a smile, light and comfortable surroundings, original and local dishes, great menu for vegetarians. staff was welcoming and made us feel at home. each dish was a pleasant surprise, the 3 glass menu made us discover new winegrowers in the region, and was perfectly matched to the dishes.
Benjamin H — Google review
Our evening at Origine was outstanding. The dishes are pieces of art. One should take a moment to discover all the little details that the chef has hidden on the plate. For us personally, the dishes could have been seasoned stronger but that is a matter of personal opinion. The chef chose to go with a more subtle and elegant approach. The wine and non-alcoholic pairing deserve special recognition- both were excellent and well presented.
Jan S — Google review
This restaurant is definitely one to add to my list! First, I want to thank the talented and creative Chef Tomofumi it was a pleasure meeting him. His kind gesture of stepping out of the kitchen to greet us made the experience even more special. The entire meal was a feast for the senses beautifully presented, full of flavor, and truly satisfying. Every dish reflected his magic touch and ended like a piece of art. Everything was amazing, and I can’t wait to come back again and again to try more!

Balanced, delicious flavors, beautiful presentation and friendly service tailored to your desires , great attention to detail with my allergies. Sommelier was one of the very best at over 25 starred restaurants I visited in October 2025! Will definitely return when in Dijon again 🙌🏼💓🇫🇷🌟🌟 I think Chef is headed to two stars 🌟🌟
Valerie C — Google review
We had an incredible dining experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant. The cuisine is French, delicately infused with a hint of Japanese influence. They also accommodated my lactose intolerance, adjusting a few dishes, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The wine list was thoughtfully curated, and the sommelier spoke Spanish, which was a big plus for us. However, the only downside was the duration. We spent nearly four hours there, from 8 PM to almost midnight, which felt too long. In my opinion, 2.5 to 3 hours would have been sufficient. While the food, service, and ambiance were exceptional, four hours is a bit excessive. One more tip: it’s best to reserve a table in advance. We booked about a week ahead, and the restaurant was fully booked, even on a Thursday evening.
Nadia R — Google review
We had a truly wonderful evening. The service was very friendly. We very much appreciated the fully vegetarian menu they offered, this is not a standard practice at most Michelin star restaurants. Every dish was full of flavours and a true piece of art, and all for a very reasonable price. We also appreciated the possibility to order half a bottle of wine as we are not big drinkers but do appreciate a bit of wine with our food, this is also not a standard practice at most Michelin restaurants. Thank you so much to the staff for a wonderful experience. We 100% recommend this place for an outstanding vegetarian dining experience.
Liev N — Google review
This is a top notch restaurant with excellent food and service. I had a wonderful time dining here. The staff was very helpful & courteous. They accommodated my dietary restrictions. The food is scrumptious, portion sizes good. A 5 course meals takes about 2 hrs and there is plenty of food. Highly recommend the dining experience here. You will not be disappointed.

Loiseau des Ducs is a restaurant with a rich history. Founded by Bernard Loiseau, the group faced adversity when he tragically passed away in 2003. However, his wife Dominique took over and expanded the business to include several restaurants and wine bars across France. The restaurant itself offers an elegant dining experience in a 16th century building near Place de la Liberation.
Wonderful experience! We took the Five course menu, everything is just outstanding and just worth the trip! Kitchen is inventive, service is perfect and the old building in the city center are all making a visit here a must!
Liss A — Google review
We had a truly great meal here. The flavors were divine. From the first bite, you know you've arrived at a great French restaurant. Our waitress was amazing. She also picked all of the wines to go with the tasting menu. The fish was cooked perfectly, with almost a steak-like texture. The nettle sauce that came with it was really amazing and I wanted to get every last drop. The tempura artichokes were also fabulous.
Chris M — Google review
September 2024 Compared to other restaurants this is not a cheap one. Probably because it is located in a hotel. A 2 star restaurant not far away has almost similar pricing. €5 for a half bottle of water .. Staff is very strict, little stiff. People eating this night were at least 80% NOT french. I had the Talmay menu. Food is good and really well prepared, for the price it could be a bit more 'spectacular' for combinations and ingredients.
Paul B — Google review
Very nice gastronomic food, tasty and great presentation. We loved the burgundy wine too. The service was attentive but not overbearing. We forgot a pair of sunglasses and they were amazingly nice to send them back to us by post.
Aurélien L — Google review
We booked this restaurant 2 months before our visit. We arrived a bit early and several tables were still available. The table that was assigned to us was not so nice, right in the middle of the room, so my wife kindly asked if we could have one of these available tables closer to the window. The waiter replied in a fairly rude way that "the restaurant is fully booked tonight" and left. This totally spoiled our experience. If booking months in advance is not enough to have a decent table, I m not sure what we should have done. We left the restaurant disappointed, despite the food was good.
Jay J — Google review
We recently dined at Loiseau de Ducs and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. Every dish we tried was delicious, showcasing the chef’s skill and creativity. From appetizers to desserts, the flavors were outstanding, and we left feeling satisfied. However, I must address some issues with the service. While the food was exceptional, there were notable delays in the administrative aspect of our experience. We waited for the bill for nearly half an hour, which was quite frustrating. When the bill finally arrived, we discovered that all the wine we had ordered was missing from it. It took an additional five minutes for the staff to rectify the error and locate our wine selections. Despite these issues, I appreciate the efforts of the staff in resolving the situation promptly. However, improving the efficiency of administrative tasks, such as bill processing and accurately recording orders, would significantly enhance the overall dining experience.

(ORIGINALLY POSTED YEARS (!!!) AGO BUT FOR SOME REASON GOOGLE BOTS DECIDED TO DISALLOW POST 🤷🏻‍♀️) Writing this immediately after our dinner at Loiseau des Ducs; I simply could not wait. There is so much more to this restaurant than the Michelin star. I don’t usually like comparing, as each table is its own, but I can say with certainty — you will not regret a single moment here. Posting photos that I hope will convince you to share the wonderful experience that is Loiseau des Ducs. The excellent level of service is a perfect complement to the food and wine. ps. The choice of music, jazz/standards, was a nice touch. Chansons Françaises would have been perfect too!

CIBO restaurant gastronomique à Dijon is a high-concept dining establishment that offers a fusion of tradition and modernity, making it a must-visit for discerning food enthusiasts. Located in the heart of Dijon, CIBO presents an innovative culinary experience where Burgundian gastronomic heritage is reimagined through bold and creative dishes. The elegantly designed interior seamlessly blends contemporary elements with classic touches, creating a warm and refined atmosphere.
Our evening at CIBO was outstanding. The menu was exquisite, especially the mushroom dishes. We loved the presentation, which felt very natural and therefore fits in great with the overall theme of the menu and the restaurant itself. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. Only downside was the service unfortunately, which was quite hectic. Empty dishes were for example taken as soon as one person was finished with his/her food without waiting for the rest of the table. There was clearly also a language barrier as French-speaking tables had lengthy interactions with waiters. The service would have received three stars if one of the waiters hadn’t looked up what certain vegetables are in our native language.
Jan S — Google review
1 Michelin star restaurant and had the lunch menu (only salad for dinner!). Every dish was a lovely delightful surprise. I think except the dessert which was nice not amazing - all other dishes were spectacular
R M — Google review
CIBO has a beautiful, modern vibe — minimalist with wood and concrete details that make the space feel both sleek and inviting. The menu is creative and rooted in the region, highlighting local ingredients like fresh cheese and catfish in unexpected, seasonal ways. One of my favorite parts was the cheese cart. The staff member who presented it was genuinely kind; he walked me through all the cheese varieties and even repeated their names in English so I could write them down and look them up later. It felt personal and made the experience all the more memorable. The downside for me was that many of the dishes leaned heavily into acidic flavors. I understand the menu is built around summer ingredients meant to be light and refreshing, but at times the acidity overpowered the balance of the dish. A bit more contrast or depth could’ve made a big difference. Also, the wine pairing didn’t quite hit the mark. The wine itself was good, but it didn’t match most of the dishes—only really working well with two (grilled catfish and another meat dish). At €145, I was hoping for something that would enhance the meal a bit more. We’ve had more cohesive pairings elsewhere at a similar level. That said, I’d definitely come back to try a different seasonal menu. There’s a lot of creativity and care here, and I’m curious to see how it evolves.

Wow! This may be the best meal my wife and I ever had. We had the 5 course lunch menu. Everything was fantastic. The plating and presentations were creative and fun. We had a really enjoyable and relaxing dinner at CIBO restaurant during our trip to Burgundy. Restaurant has an interesting wine list with lots of regional options including some from smaller producers which paired beautifully with their flavorful and thoughtfully prepared dishes. I thought prices were quite fair for the quality both for the tasting menu and the wines. If I’m ever in Dijon again, I’d definitely go back.
M G — Google review
Great service and beautiful, moody atmosphere, but CIBO was a “miss” for us as far as tasting menus go . The food was inventive and presented artfully (perhaps *too* contrived at times) but many of the dishes challenged our collective tastebuds by being too pungent, bitter, or overly sour. One of the desserts was even introduced by our sever with a “warning,” which is what you least expect when you’re hoping for a pleasant close to the meal. Perhaps it was just the menu when we visited, but the food and flavors were not what we expected for the price. We also got charged $38 for water, which was impossible to not order with the type of food being served (our fault for not requesting tap water I suppose). Consolation prize: I did greatly enjoy the glass pours recommended by the sommelier.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of historic Dijon, the former coaching inn known as Chapeau Rouge is home to the culinary brilliance of William Frachot. This talented chef, hailing from a family of restaurateurs and having traveled extensively through places like England and Quebec, brings a unique flair to his dishes. His approach is refreshingly straightforward yet inventive, showcasing an impressive blend of international flavors with local ingredients.
Excellent 2 Michelin star restaurant in Dijon (as of 2024), serving classic local/regional cuisine and ingredients (like river/lake fish) with a modern touch. Elegant setting and elegant presentations with attentive and expert service. Excellent wine list as you could expect in the burgundy region.

The only 2 michelin star restaurant I tried in Dijon. They lost our reservation but was graceful enough to carve out a table for us. We picked the 5 course menu: Chicken with paprika and comte and Gruyere cheese puff - the comte sauce was divine, rich and flavorful and the chicken and leek served as the best dipping material for that sauce. The cheese puff was a little disappointing as I was expecting an oozy cheese center but it was dry. Egg with bacon and red wine sauce with mushrooms - the presentation of this cheese was definitely not michelin star, but the bacon and red wine mix at the bottom was very flavorful and it was overall a good dish. The butter is too hard and the bread is cold. Mushroom ravioli with mushroom jus and lardon - this dish was outstanding, the dumplings were delicate and chock full of small chopped mushrooms which was full of umami, complemented by a velvety smooth mushroom sauce. Onion with gratinated comte, onion jus and onion tartlet - another great dish, the jus was very flavorful and well balanced, and the onion was so sweet, and the comte on it just brought out the umami in the onion. The onion crisps were microthin and very delicate - loved this dish. Bream with red wine sauce and carrot with cepes, fish liver quenelle with red wine sauce - the fish was nicely cooked, the wine sauce was exceptional. The fish liver quenelle was surprisingly tasty, very light and soft with subtle taste of fish liver. Crayfish, buckwheat cracker, cassis jelly, licorice jelly, pickled celery - the crayfish was perfectly poached, the buckwheat cracker was crispy and the earthiness of it complemented the delicate sweetness of the crayfish. The jus just brought the whole dish together, together with the pickled celery. Pork in different ways, pork shoulder, pork loin, piglet sauce, potato puree, blood pudding - a dish that was nicely executed - the blood pudding was delicious, and the potato puree was pure butter. Fig, goat cheese ice cream, blackcurrant - a ripened baked fig, served with goat cheese, the perfect combination. The petit four was delicious, especially the hazelnut cone filled with hazelnut cream. The mille feuille was very crisp and very well executed. All in all, a decent meal, great flavors, but could improve in service and the bread.

We were here during our honeymoon July 2025. As two Asians/obvious tourists I feel we did not receive the same level of service as other tables. Our waters were not refilled, breadcrumbs were not wiped etc. I almost ate a bone in one fish course to which the server said ‘we are sorry for it’. Food was very good but overall the experience was disappointing for two Michelin stars.

Amazing experience. Our table enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu. Service was impeccable. We were pretty early and tired from walking around all day and had cocktails in the bar until they opened. They brought us our amuse bouche in the bar and then we moved to the dining room. We were seated in a semi private area in the front. It was truly a wonderful dining experience.

There were at least 3 times when the server came by our table and our glass of waters were empty. One of the times he poored one of the two persons sitting and not the other. If the water was on the table I would pour it myself but since this is a 2 star Michelin you have other types of expectations. Butter was not explained and even after we asked I did not feel the mustard taste. The tartine of bone marrow was not explained and it tasted extremely salty. It must have been the saltiest bone marrow of my life. And now, the good parts:) Desert was lovely: first one was fresh the other one looked like a fairytale tribute to hazelnuts. We started with a soup of mushroom which tasted phenomenal. Quenelle was very tasty and we just followed up to understand the cooking process. It was unreal soft! We enjoyed the finest burgundy pinot noir. Overall it felt more like a one star rather than 2.
