Ancient rainwater harvesting and storage structure built by a wealthy businessman of Churu. The tank boundaries are embellished with chhatris with traditional architecture. It's a heritage structure & worth visiting when in a visit to Churu. However, it has fallen into disuse & the water is dirty, the approach road is a dirt track& there aren't any facilities in the vicinity.

This Historic place is so Beautiful and unique also Peaceful you can spot Beautiful Peacocks on the way 🦚 but Shouldn’t go in man made Lake it’s Dangerous but a lovely place to enjoy Weekend picnic with Family ❤️‍🩹

June 2023 trip to Churu and Sethani ka johara comes up in every search of interesting places to visit in Churu. We really felt sad visiting this place. So dirty. This place is so beautiful in pictures. But reality is different. Only carelessness of the people who frequent the place. We should be proud of our heritage and save such National monuments. Dear responsible authorities, please take some action.

Beautiful place to send some time with your family n friends. Kids love this place .... It was built long back but has got renovated recently to its full glory. You need to see it to appreciate its beauty. Will definitely recommend it to people visiting churu.

History: Long ago on a Tuesday in the Shravan month on Navami, a farmer from a village called Asota in Rajasthan was ploughing his field. His plough suddenly struck something hard and the farmer could not move it any further. When the farmer inspected the area, he saw a stone there. The farmer removed the stone and started digging further only to find an idol of Hanuman. It was exactly at that moment, the farmer’s wife came to the fields with lunch for the farmer. She had brought churma made using bajra for his lunch. The farmer fed some churma to the idol also. I tried to and wanted to visit this Haveli during my trip to Fatehpur Shekhawati but I could not as it was closed. I could just see the outer walls of the Haveli. Though, there was a board outside the haweli which says, “Open everyday from 8 am to 6 pm.” I read about it online that a French artist has restored the haweli, there were no signs of restoration from outside. It looked to me in ruined state. Locals informed me that it never gets opened after COVID. Sometimes, a foreign lady comes to visit the haweli and that’s it. Instead, you can visit nearby havelis. Though, very few havelis are available for tourists if you are an Indian. Hardly, you will get access to 1 or 2 havelis to visit.

Excellent old style marwari Haveli. The fresco work and restoration done. The staff is friendly and good. Mr Sanjay however could learn to smile! Good bar and dining room ambience. Cons: 1. Lack of acceptance of credit cards despite it being mentioned on the booking website 2. No service of tea coffee in room or kettles in room 3. Toilet is extremely small and shower too. Super uncomfortable. Book and stay only at prince 1 &2 rooms. Rest are not advisable.

Nearly 200 years old place. Being frescoed. Good place to stay for a couple of days. Food taste like home cooked. Drinks available at the bar. Rooms are old times. But No place for car parking in the premises, it has to be done outside on the road.

You cannot enter the fort as it's not under ASI or state archeology, it's privately owned. There is a small Balaji temple inside the premises till which is where you are allowed. You can visit the fort only if you are able to get special permission from the owners.

Step Back in Time - Laxmangarh Fort, Sikar My recent visit to Laxmangarh Fort in Sikar, Rajasthan, was nothing short of a journey through history. No Benefit to visit the place...I went to the place and it was completely locked...only Balaji Mandir Of Fort was Open...rest was locked and nobody was allowed to visit or enter in the Fort Interior

It has absolutely nothing to offer for tourists and absolutely not worth making a visit. It is a private property and you can only access the stairs to a point publicly. Absolutely recommended to skip this fort for a planned visit. Water logging is complimentary if you visit the fort😀😀

It is a private property so we they don't give us permission to visit. But their is temple inside it we can go there but it is very close just near the door. So can just see the city from here which you can see in my photo's.

The fort is a later medieval one . Approx 200 years old Constructed by Raja Laxman singh in 1790s .. It is q private property and is only accessible till the temple on the entrance . The fort can't be seen

We visited Eklingji Temple near Udaipur recently, and it was a divine experience! This ancient temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a spiritual gem with a rich history dating back to the 8th century. Built by Bappa Rawal, the founder of the Mewar dynasty, it’s been a sacred site for centuries, revered by Rajput rulers. The intricate carvings, four-faced Shiva lingam, and serene ambiance left us in awe. The temple’s architecture, with its towering spire and detailed stonework, is breathtaking. The priests were warm, sharing fascinating stories about the temple’s Mewar legacy, making the visit deeply meaningful. The surrounding hills add a peaceful charm, perfect for reflection. We enjoyed tasty prasad and local snacks from nearby stalls. Visiting Eklingji felt like connecting with history and divinity.

18 to 20 km away from Udaipur. Popular religious site dedicated to Mahadev. Ancient site. Timing for Darshan is different. We went there at 3.30pm but Darshan became possible on 5.30. Still guarded by Royal guards. Photography is not allowed. Besides Eklingji, we also visited 2700 years old Jain temple, Shahtrabahu Temple and a royal hotel.

This is a very beautiful religious place to visit around Udaipur. It is about 22 km away from Udaipur. It was built by Bappa Rawal in 734 AD. The temple is famous all over India due to a four-faced idol and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Eklingji temple has been the deity of Mewar rulers. There is a group of many small temples along with the main temple in the temple complex. People who offer flower garlands also sit in the complex. Sitting there gives ultimate peace. There is a beautiful lake nearby. In which lotus flowers are grown. There are chhatris of the historical temple and the wall of the rampart nearby. Sitting there, one can see the beautiful view of the beautiful hills etc. Keep one thing in mind before coming to Eklingji temple. The darshan starts here after 5:30 pm. You cannot carry leather belts and any leather items, shoes etc., mobiles, so keep them in your own safe places beforehand. Enjoy tea and Mirchi Bada outside Eklingji Temple and make the trip delicious.

We visited the Fort museum. Small museum, a few rooms. Lots of furniture and photos. The owner ‘Thakur’ has an interest in mewar horses and breeds them. Also conducts horse safaris. The Fort is nicely appointed and would have been stunning in the says gone by. There is a link to Maharani Gayatri Devi.

We went there for visit during the weekend. This haveli is located in the heart of Nawalgarh. Once you enter around the area of Nawalgarh then you will feel that you have travelled back in time. There are a lot pf havelis in this area and this one is one of the best. It has been preserved as a small museum but there is plenty of stuff to watch out for. It carries heritage of Rajasthan in the form of wall paintings which is really amazing to watch.

Fantastic museum. We stayed a lot longer than we thought as there is so much to see and plenty of exhibits! Our tour guide was really great and told us so much about Hinduism and Indian society, not just about havellis!

Best time to visit - winter Mode of transport - four-wheeler Best time of visit - day light ( winter sun ) Roads are dangerous and are not well protected by the edges, make sure that a professional is driving. Reckless driving can be deadly. Once you reach the top, strong winds will welcome you with dozens of monkeys. Stay away from the apes. Visit all the temples as they are centuries old.you will find our culture in their architecture. No entry fee / parking fee. The view from the top is breathtaking. The entire Sikar is visible alongside nearby towns.

Lovely place with lots of wind mills around and in the lap of nature. The old Shiv temple is a beautiful place to worship in a peaceful atmosphere. Lots of leaf monkeys are there. Views are superb which you will never be able to forget. You will visit this again and again.

We went here with my friends on a school trip. There was a little difficulty in parking as we had to go upwards using a different kind of jeep, but man oh man, what do I say? This was one of the best forts I've seen so far, situated in slightly hilly terrain that offers stunning perspectives from every angle. The fort itself is massive, covering a vast area, and exploring it is an adventure in itself. It is divided into several sections and forts, such as the Jaigarh Fort and the Amber Fort (Sheesh Mahal) and most of it is preserved and maintained very well. Walking through its courtyards, gates, and ramparts, you can truly feel the grandness of its design and the careful planning that went into every part. A visit here leaves you with a true sense of the historical importance of how skillful and creative the ancient Indians were who built this fort. The sanitation and the overall holding up of the structures over decades have really blown my mind. Every corner seems to tell a story of the past, and the perfect scale of this architecture is admirable. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates our ancient heritage. The overall blend of natural landscape and architectural brilliance makes it a truly unforgettable experience that reflects Rajasthan’s royal past in all its glory.

Visited Nahargarh Fort in the morning and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and panoramic city views. The fort is beautifully built on the hilltop, offering a stunning view of Jaipur from above. Unfortunately, the Padao Restaurant was closed when we reached, so we couldn’t try it — it would have been nice to enjoy breakfast or tea with that view. Still, the fort itself is worth visiting, especially in the morning when it’s quiet and not crowded.

Amazing place. The Fort is amazing, great architecture, detailing and history. But, Be aware of monkey's here. And parking space is such a mess. No ground leveling, hard stones all over. You can skip the food from Padao Café. The free coffee is probably the worst coffee I've ever tasted. The scenic beauty is the only thing people go there. And you have to pay Rs.200 per person just to visit that cafe. Free coffee is included. Other than that, it is a beautiful place to go with friends and family.

Nahargarh Fort offers one of the best sunset views in Jaipur. The fort is peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for photography. The city view from the top looks stunning, especially in the evening. A great place to relax and enjoy nature and history together.

There is a restuarant by Rajasthan tourism dept at the far end of the fort, from where you can witness absolutely beautiful sunset over the Jaipur city. Half of the good seats were already reserved, and we got the last remaining good seat because we reached very early. There is a cover charge, the food is also decent.

This fort is one of the best🤌 place to ever visit. I love this place. If you want to see sunset or sunrise from the top of the hills . This is the best place. You want lightning then go visit at night before 9:30PM because entry isn't allowed.

Eleday feels like a sanctuary rather than a tourist camp. It’s perfect for families, animal lovers, or anyone who wants a meaningful elephant experience in Jaipur. Highly recommended if you want to do something ethical and touching rather than just a quick photo-op.

They share their story, basic, and then some information about Indian Elephants; these are rescued Elephants. After riding the Elephant in a circle in a not so large area, they encourage you to paint, wash, and feed the Elephants. It was a very worthwhile experience, and you help provide income for their hefty upkeep. You can ride the elephant bare back, or on a platform tied to their back.

Joy from eleday provided us with a lot of information on his elephants as well as the differences between the African and Asian varieties. The enclosure is a 30 minute drive from central Jaipur, where one meets the elephants.There were 3 elephants present during our visit of 2.5h although there are apparently 30 animals owned by eleday. We had the pleasure to meet Sonia, a 34-year old elephant that was painted in various colours. She was very gentle and really warmed up to us after the feeding activity (apparently bananas are to elephants what chocolates are to humans). The other activities proposed were painting, washing and riding (without saddles to prevent harm) the elephants. The elephants seem to be well taken care of, are fed frequently and seem to be in good health (medical checkups are held every 8 weeks, according to joy). It was a unique experience of about 2.5h but at no point were we rushed to move to another activity or to leave. The care takers are very friendly and seem to have a good relationship with the animals. Definitely recommended!

Hidden/ underrated place of attraction in Jaipur city. It was used as a royal cremation ground for male members of Jaipur royal family There are several cenotaph built in this place commemorating royal members. The structures are beautifully sculpted and carved including various paintings and motifs of animals and objects.Also motifs includes subjects that reflect the personality of royal member to which cenotaph belongs. The common visitor ignores the architectural beauty and are just interested in clicking pictures. This place is ticketed less than rs 50 This place has beautiful garden surrounding the cenotaph. Spend at least 1 hour to truly rejoice this place.

This place was absolutely jaw dropping. It is the crematorial place for all the old maharaja's and the impeccable detail into the structures is breathtaking. I still don't understand how they were able to carve into the marble and sandstone with such utmost precision.. and to the point where it has lasted 250 years. This place is also very serene in the mornings and with less crowd. 30rs/person for indians!

Such a beautiful place if you love historical places. People usually come for photos and to see the beautiful, intricate architecture. Not a place where you can stay for long as I felt bored after 20-30 minutes. The toilets here are really bad. Keep yourself fresh before going here. Also there are no place to eat or quick bite. Overall, beautiful place and deserve the place in your Jaipur Itinerary list.

I visited Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan today and it was great. This is where you'll find the cenotaphs of most of the Maharajas in Rajasthan with the area being split to 3 sections from children, parents and the first Maharajas. The intricate carvings on the cenotaphs is unique and must be seen. Entry costs INR30 and can be bought at the gate but do carry cash.

Awesome place to spend some time in Jaipur. This is the royal tombs. Very cool to sit during day time. Not a popular tourist spot like other famous spots, so wasn't crowded when we visited in an afternoon. There was a film shooting going on that day though, so about half area was not accessible.

Jaigarh fort is a must visit if you have a historian within you and you need to know extra about the history of Jaipur. Well planned fort again but if you are in a hurry can be skipped. This fort houses the world’s biggest canon, which was hardly used except for testing. You will also like the 40 feet deep tanks which were constructed to store and supply water. Does not take lot of time. You can cover this fort in 45 min.

The Anokhi Museum in Jaipur is a hidden gem for anyone interested in traditional Indian crafts. I really enjoyed learning about the art of block printing, the museum is beautifully curated with detailed explanations, historical pieces, and live demonstrations. One thing to note: during my visit, an artisan demonstrating woodblock printing gestured for a tip after showing us his work. We didn’t have any cash with us at the time, and he seemed a bit upset, saying something in Hindi that we didn’t understand. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it might be helpful for visitors to know in advance that tipping may be expected. That said, the overall experience was enriching and well worth a visit if you’re in Jaipur and want to explore local craftsmanship in a peaceful setting.

The Anokhi Museum is a well known gem in Amber! The block printing demo was fascinating, and the hands-on class made it even better. I loved trying the traditional printing myself, it is so much more difficult than it looks. The staff and teacher was kind and patient, and I left with a real appreciation for this beautiful Rajasthani Indian art form. A must-visit if you want a creative and cultural experience near Amber Fort! Cultural immersion at its best.

This 16th-century Rajput haveli mansion, built into the perimeter walls, holds a strategic location by the Kheri Gate, reflecting its importance in the fortified town. Its original owner was likely a distinguished military leader who secured this area. However, when Raja Jai Singh moved his court to the new walled-city of Jaipur in 1727, the local population dwindled, and the town fell into decline. After lying empty for over 400 years, the haveli was rescued from ruin when John Singh, a founder of Anokhi, purchased the property in 1989 and embarked on a four-year restoration project with architects Nimish Patel and Parul Zaveri of Abhikram. Together, they demonstrated that traditional building methods, implemented by local craftsmen, could be a cost-effective means of preservation. go here to see wonderful examples of printing and learn about the different processes and traditions. you get to see the block carving and try some block printing for yourself!! they have a small store with items that are only found in this museum store, so don't skip it even if you plan to go to the big anokhi store later (which you should also do). this museum store also had bolts of fabric you can get cuts of and some packs of charm squares (5 inch squares that quilters use). the building itself is also just beautiful and a sight to see. Get a taxi to take you because its not some place ina big shopping center its by the fort and the driver will be helpful in getting you there.

One of the most interesting museums I've been to. It's not a big fancy place, but if you're genuinely interested in the history of textiles, this is a great spot. Entry fee is cheap (even for tourists), there are interactive workshops and the gift shop has some cool handmade items that aren't super overpriced.

Anokhi Museum is one of the best places to learn the art of hand-block printing. Less crowded and peaceful where you can learn a lot about the history of hand block tools, and the use of natural dyes and witness the live hand block printing by the artisans. However, I didn't like the way artisans asked for money, even though we had plans to tip them. The ticket charges are 80Rs per person. There is also a cafe outside the museum.

Panna Meena ka Kund in Jaipur is honestly one of the coolest and most underrated spots I visited. It’s a very calm and peaceful place, away from the busy tourist crowd. The first thing you notice is the beautiful stepwell design with perfectly arranged steps that create a really satisfying pattern. It’s the kind of place where you automatically feel like taking photos because every angle looks amazing. Even though visitors are not allowed to go down the steps anymore, the view from the top is still worth it. The structure is clean, well-maintained, and feels like a small piece of history hidden in a quiet corner. It’s around 400 years old, but still looks strong and impressive. The yellow stone architecture gives it a warm and traditional look, which blends perfectly with Jaipur’s vibe. I also liked that the place is not commercialized—no noise, no rush, and no entry fee. You can just sit there for a bit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It’s also very close to Amber Fort, so it’s easy to add it to your plan without needing extra time. Overall, Panna Meena ka Kund is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys calm places, good photos, and a touch of heritage

I visited Panna Meena ka Kund while on the way to Amber Fort and it was great. The stepwell is made up of multiple symmetrical stairs which is a unique piece of architecture. Entry to the location was free and it's easily accessible using stairs. Highly recommended activity to do while in the area.

A great temple, faith of Jaipurites. Every day large crowds visit. Many Jhaki organised daily..A heart touching Aarti. Total spiritual atmosphere. Very difficult to control crowd. Special Laddu in packet pack can be purchased. Since Last 5 years or so Ladoo making given on outsourcing, after that comprise in taste, quality and price. Parking problem exists largely..many times laps in security and safety is point of concern. Some concrete change need to apply.

My visit to the beautiful Govind Dev Ji Temple in Jaipur coincided with both the Janmashtami festivities and India's Independence Day, making for a truly unique but challenging experience. A magnificent blend of history and royalty! City Palace is one of the most impressive attractions in Jaipur. A part of the Jaipur king's palace is open to visitors as museum. Ticket rate of 300rs per person. Wonderful museum. Most of it is covered, so okay to visit during daytime with high temperature. We visited in September 2025 Current descendents of the King reside in a part of this palace, which is not open to regular visitors. There is a private tour of 4000rs (if I remember right) per person, to view 4 rooms in the section where King resides. Anyone wanting to get a pic in the famous blue-white design room famous in social media - this is one of these 4 rooms available through the 4k rs ticket - don't be disappointed like me 😅

It's a beautiful place where the royal family lives. We buy a ticket for 300 but it was for very limited access, for entire palace the ticket was of 4000 which is huge. Even spending 300 for museum was not worth. The palace is definitely a good place and carrying a great history but spending 300 for visiting museum for 45 minutes is costly. Definitely a place to visit but cost is also royal.

The city palace is one of its kind and so beautifully designed. Also, entry fees of 300 rs for indian and 1000 rs for foreigners is applicable. They have restaurant and caffe as well inside the fort. The City Palace in Jaipur is an absolutely stunning monument and a must-visit for anyone coming to the Pink City. The architecture, colours, courtyards and royal details are breathtaking — every corner feels like a piece of history frozen in time. The blend of Rajput and Mughal design is beautifully maintained, and you can easily spend hours exploring and clicking photos. Truly one of Jaipur’s finest landmarks. That said, a small word of caution about the shops inside the palace complex. Many items are marketed as “authentic”, “royal”, or “handmade”, but the prices are heavily marked up. You can find very similar items — textiles, handicrafts, accessories and souvenirs — outside the palace for a fraction of the cost. A special mention for the perfume/attar shops inside: they narrate long stories about rare fragrances and royal formulas, but most of it is just regular attar being sold at extremely high prices. There’s no harm in browsing, but it’s better to buy perfumes and handicrafts from trusted markets outside. Overall, City Palace is an incredible place to experience the heritage of Jaipur, but be mindful of purchases inside the premises. Go for the architecture, culture and history — they’re 100% worth it!

Sheesh Mahal at Amber Fort is a spectacular sight, with its intricate mirror work and stunning architecture that truly showcases Mughal craftsmanship. However, the experience can be a bit overwhelming because there are too many vendors constantly approaching tourists to sell goods or services. Despite that, the historical significance and sheer beauty of the place make it well worth a visit, earning it a solid 4-star rating.

There is a big mirror in a corner-near the exit, where if you look at it, you can see you face clearly. An absolute wonder in the heart of Rajasthan.

The visit was amazing. We took a guide at the ticketing office. Price was 400 rupii for about 40-50 min just be aware that not all guides in India are good some are just scammers. The guy in white islamic (?) hat is amazing. He speaks good English and is also an interesting person. Highly recommended. The fort itself was also amazing.

In those times, people used to see this and know the time of the day and night. There is a wheel that actually tells the time. The spoke on which the sunray is there, its the hour and minutes follow after it. Absolute wonder.

We visited Albert Hall Museum, it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our Jaipur trip. The museum is a stunning example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, the building itself is so majestic that it feels like stepping into a royal era. It’s located right in the heart of the city near Ram Niwas Garden and looks especially beautiful in the evening when it’s illuminated with colorful lights. There were lot of photoshoots happening there when we visited the museum. The museum has an excellent collection showcasing the rich heritage of Rajasthan. From ancient coins, royal costumes, miniature paintings and traditional musical instruments to sculptures, carpets and arms, every section tells a fascinating story about India’s art and culture. The Egyptian mummy and old jewelry section were among our favourites and it was amazing to see how well everything is preserved and displayed. The entry ticket is quite reasonable for the experience you get and you can even take a combined ticket if you plan to visit other monuments in Jaipur. The museum is well maintained, clean and informative, perfect for families and anyone interested in history and art. We spent about 1.5 to 2 hours exploring the exhibits and it was truly worth it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the cultural depth and artistic beauty of Rajasthan. Don’t miss the night view, the illuminated museum looks absolutely breathtaking!

I must say, it was truly a beautiful mandir located in Rajasthan, this was the first place we visited while on our school trip. Upon arrival, it was still evening, and we spent some time exploring the surroundings and doing a bit of side shopping in bazaar near the entrance of the mandir. As the sunset occurred and the lights lit up, the entire ambiance of this place transformed. Gradually, as the evening turned into night, the temple was sparkling and shining with decorative lights, highlighting its highly detailed sculptures and towering spires. We headed towards the main mandir through a single pathway going uphill, which was slightly steep but added to the sense of anticipation. The mandir itself was breathtaking, with its majestic and intricate designs. Despite being a bit crowded, the atmosphere was peaceful and filled with spiritual energy. The gentle hum of devotional chants and the aroma of incense added to the sacred ambiance. It was prohibited to take photos inside the temple for obvious reasons and to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for prayer. The cold breeze during the season and the starry sky above made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a visit to cherish, entirely filled with divine spirituality, making this entire moment unforgettable. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place.

Need more maintenance and cleanliness as the water is dirty and needs treatment. Its a pity that common man has no access to the palace. It is a five-storeyed structure built from beautiful red sandstone, yet famously, when the lake is full, four of those floors remain submerged underwater, creating the illusion of a single, ethereal floating story. ​A key detail is that the palace cannot be visited internally by the general public as entry is restricted, partly due to ongoing restoration and legal issues. Tourists must appreciate its grandeur from the Man Sagar Dam and the promenade on the lake's edge. ​Regarding water activities, boating is currently not allowed for tourists to access the palace itself, though some tour operators offer boat rides on the larger Man Sagar Lake to provide a closer view. The primary activity is walking the promenade and photography, especially during sunrise or sunset. ​ The best time to visit the exterior is during the monsoon, when the lake is at its fullest, enhancing the palace's magical reflection. Flanked by the Nahargarh hills, Jal Mahal remains one of Jaipur's most photographed and historically significant landmarks.

The mahal was amazing to see and get some photos there is no need to buy any ticket and the water was still so it’s really bad smell get photo and leave as soon as possible

If you have come to Jaipur then definitely visit this place because if you do not go to this place then you will forget the real enjoyment of Jaipur.This place is a very beautiful place. You will find many elephants here. You can spend your time with those elephants here. You can feed some food to those elephants. You can enjoy with those elephants. You can take selfies with those elephants, you can do anything. You can shake your hand with those elephants. You must come here and see elephants.

Pick up and drop off at our hotel was smooth. Lunch was delicious. The experience at the sanctuary was lively - staff were friendly, each elephant had an employee with them, we asked the employee questions and he was very knowledgeable. The elephants looked happy and healthy.

The greatest experience so far! The place, the staff, the environment and the lunch was just amazing! You really feel that this is a family-company who have been working for this in a lot of generations. Great stories about the elephants and great work for saving the population of elephants in India! I really can recommend this experience for everyone not matter gender, age or interests! Thanks for having us! We already miss lucky.

I visited Elefantastic – Elephant Wildlife Sanctuary with my family, and it was a truly amazing experience. My kids enjoyed it a lot—they were excited to see elephants of all sizes, from small to large. The sanctuary feels safe, well-maintained, and very family-friendly. The staff is knowledgeable and caring, making the whole visit enjoyable and educational. It’s a beautiful place to spend time with nature and learn more about these gentle giants. This is an incredible and genuine experience! If you want to have a close-up encounter with an elephant and not the cruel elephant rides at Amber Fort, this is the place to go. Here, elephants have been rescued from bad treatment and are truly happy. The people here truly care for the animals and give you lots of time to pet, scratch, cuddle, and walk the elephants. The entire staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and within 3 hours there is plenty of time to bond with your elephant. In my case it was Padma, a really sweet girl. Afterwards, we had a delicious lunch prepared by the owner's mother. Not only is she a fantastic cook but a very sweet lady, who makes you feel welcome at her home. It gives this experience another special personal touch. Everybody on this trip makes you feel at home, starting from the very friendly driver to the handlers of the animals to the guide who gives you detailed information about the elephants and the owner and his mother. A big recommendation if you want to stay away from the commercial road-side elephant experiences and still want to interact with the animals. Short note: Here is only the location of the office and booking service. The experience takes place near Amber Fort at a large open area where there is enough space for the elephants.

Lovely experience, enjoyed soo much, very friendly elephants and good friendly staff

My family enjoyed our time at the Elephant Safari Park. Shoyab was very informative and friendly. He shared a lot of information about Asian elephants and particularly about Muskan who is the lovely 22 year old elephant we interacted with today. We were introduced to Muskan and Arif (Handler) and were able to pet her to form a bond. Following that we all had an opportunity to ride Muskan around the acreage and followed that by feeding and painting her. The painting is using natural colors and is a tradition in Jaipur. We recommend this experience to anyone who wants a more private and personal interaction with elephants. Our hotel (Umaid Bhavan) arranged driver/tour guide Manu arranged this experience for us but you can also arrive here direct. Prices vary depending on how long of an experience you are seeking. We paid $2800 Rupees per person for a 1.5/2 hour experience.

AMAZING. Elephants are unbelievably friendly. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Their goal is to let you have fun with the elephants and experience being their care taker. The elephants are very cared for and not exploited for anything. They get to hang out with their friends all day. Worth every penny. Drinks included but Lunch is no longer part of the day since the pandemic. Spent about 1.5 hours enjoying the company of Payal, Tara and Anu. Sent them a WhatsApp message for booking the day before. They come and pick you up and drop off. Payal was our favorite and was a lovely canvas for our Seattle Skyline! The paint is a chalk based paint that is safe for the elephants and you wash it off after just a few minutes. If you want a ride, it is only for a couple minutes to keep it safe for the elephants as they can handle a little ride but anything longer will hurt them.

It's a must visit in Jaipur. Largely unexplored. You can do Elephant Ride, Elephant Feeding & Elephant Painting. I had seen this in Thailand, happy to see it in Jaipur Give elephants a shot.

This elephant safari and overall visit to Haathi Gaon is one of the best experience I had in my entire life. This experience is just amazing and worth every penny. The care-takers and managers have in-depth knowledge of everything about elephants and they eagerly describe you everything about them. I recommend the natural ride on elephants shown in the pictures. It gives you an experience for lifetime.

Great place to visit, either with friends or family or alone. The elephants are so friendly that you'll cry with joy. Highly recommended.
